Recently renovated from the old Killara Motor Inn, this motel has some real advantages - clean rooms, a great location ~10 minutes' walk away from the Lindfield station, plenty of parking just off the Pacific Highway, and a terrific little restaurant serving up-market Japanese cuisine. Disadvantages of highway noise and external access to rooms (although well protected by a roof) are minor downsides, but you might ask for a room at the back with views south-west. There aren't many options if you are staying in the central north shore area - Chatswood and Macquarie are further away and much more expensive, and few local pubs offer accommodation.

Ich war ein paar Nächte bei Seranin Gordon, ich war früher bei Seranin Lane Cove & hatte eine so gute Erfahrung, wenn ich einen Ort benötigen, um wieder zu bleiben, ich konnte nicht über Seranin Gordon gehen. Die Zimmer sind unverschämt & brandneu, der Manager Patrick war sehr hilfreich und reaktiv. Die Lage war erstaunlich, so nah an den öffentlichen Verkehr und lokalen Geschäften auf der Straße. wird sicherlich wieder bleiben

Das Nachtcap pymble Hotel ist ein versteckter Schatz. Wenn Sie durch die alten Holztüren gehen, werden Sie in Zeit zurück zu einer Art Deco Ära genommen. Großes Essen, Zimmer renoviert und sehr komfortabel und Service ziemlich gut auch. David der Manager ist eine Legende und ging oben und darüber, als meine Buchung wurde gemuckt. Hat einen BWS Flasche Shop gebunden, macht nicht Frühstück, aber Sie können ein zerbrochenes Paket. Ein Top-Ort zu bleiben

It was a really pleasant stay. Was up in Sydney this Christmas to attend some stuff. Was able to have a quiet and enjoyable stay in the hotel. Location was wonderful, close to all the shop. The layout of the apartment was great, plenty of space for a solo traveller. The balcony was handy as usual. The bed was comfortable. Highly recommended, would stay again in the future.

Das Wort, dass Sie bekommen, was Sie zahlen für Ringe sehr wahr auf dieser Reise. Dies war eine 3-Tage-Pause für mich und meinen Partner für einige vor Weihnachten Mayhem Entspannung. Von der Zeit, bis Sie auf den Weg in Ihren Zimmer einziehen, laufen Sie runter, alte und unzeitige kommen zu denken. Rezeption Leute waren nett zu behandeln, aber hier gibt es kein Gefühl von Flucht. Die Poolfotos sehen nichts wie der Pool, der eigentliche Pool hat eine grüne Tinte und das ganze Beton auf dem Boden ist patchig und verliert die Farbe. Nicht einladen überhaupt. In der Nähe unseres Zimmers gab es einen Gemeinde-Aschenrau und ein kleines Bin, das wahrscheinlich 100 oder so Zigarettenbutten enthalten und er sah schrecklich aus, gab es auch ziemlich wenig leere Pizzaboxen usw., die um die Bin-Zone aber auf dem Boden strömten. Das Zimmer war groß genug und sauber, aber wie der Rest des Platzes gekommen. Ich denke, ich erinnere mich an diesen Ort, der vor vielen Jahren für Hochzeiten und Funktionen gebucht wurde. Sicherlich ein Schatten des ehemaligen Selbst. Ich würde den Ort nicht in seinem aktuellen Zustand empfehlen und sehr empfehlen Management einige Reinigungs- und Bodenpflegekräfte. Eine harte Renovierung kann etwas tun, um diesen Ort zu retten, aber leider denke ich, es würde zu viel kosten.

We have previously stayed here when it was still the Travelodge. There have been a few upgrades since, which were needed. Bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. Some negatives however: no bedside lights, no hand towel in the bathroom and no luggage rack. When we asked about these we were met with blank stares. We purchased a portable LED light from our local Bunnings to use as a reading light. We paid for parking ($20 per night), but found 2 out of our 5 nights the car park was full and we were unable to park in the hotel car park. It appears that when there's a rugby game on, guests at the hotel let their friends park in the hotel car park. In addition, the disability parking spots were frequently occupied by those without the applicable parking permit. Hotel staff was not at all interested, but did give us a refund for the 2 nights when parking was not available.

Enttäuschend, da es ziemlich schön auf dem Außenseite aussieht. Positive: hat einen Pool, Netflix (wenn es funktioniert),Outlook, wenn nicht vor der Hauptstraße ist grüne, Wohnungsgröße gut. Insgesamt hat so viel Potenzial, aber nur gefühlt müde und aus dem Datum. Als ich versuchte, Rezeption (im Geschäftszeitraum) re Internet anzurufen, keine Antwort. Nicht, was ich erwartete für den Preis, den ich zahlen- alle fast 1200 für 3 Nächte.

What a wonderful find. The beds were really comfortable, the room quiet. Everywhere was very clean and the staff very helpful. The only downside is that they don’t have a restaurant for dinner but luckily we found Lachlan’s a mere 300 metres away that had a delicious menu for dinner. A mere 20 minute taxi ride to the Accor Stadium made it the ideal location for us. The breakfast dining room was well presented with a very good range of cooked and buffet food.

Wir haben eine gute Abmachung für 2 Nächte, die Frühstück und eine 1pm-Check-out umfassten. Es gibt keinen richtigen Eingang zum Hotel - es gibt eine Windstraße mit einem Bauplatz vor. Das Zimmer selbst war angemessen, aber das Badezimmer war sehr datiert. Unsere Handtücher wurden erst später ins Zimmer geliefert. Haushalter konnten nicht aus Taschentuch herausfinden, dass ein Gast mehr als 24 Stunden außerhalb ihres Zimmers verlassen hatte. Das Frühstück war gut, da es auch enthalten war. Die Mitarbeiter versicherten mir, dass wir vor unserer 1pm-Check-out-Zeit nicht stören würden, aber die Hausaufsicht begann um 11:30 Uhr zu klopfen und eröffnete die Tür, um zu sagen, es war check-out-Zeit. Nicht das schlimmste Hotel, in dem ich verblieben habe, aber ich hatte erwartet, dass der Preis und die Stadt besser berücksichtigen.

GGuest UserI had high expectations of Capella Sydney after staying multiple times at Capella Bangkok and being treated as though I were the most important person in the hotel, just like all of the other guest who stay there are. The attention to service detail at Sydney location unfortunately failed very short to meet my expectations. The booking process on the website was glitchy and the pricing was inconsistent, sometimes showing pricing including tax sometimes not without indication and only upon receiving confirmation via email from reservations was the price confirmed, which did not match the screenshots of the reservation when I placed the booking so I had to go back and forth with reservations via phone and email to simply confirm the accurate pricing for my stay. After creating an account to log on to their booking platform although the option of modifying the booking was offered, the feature did not work on the site, so you had to cancel the booking and book a new booking if you simply wanted to extend by 1 day. This is before I even arrived at the hotel. When I did arrive, it is of course, no small feat that the restoration of this historic building was carried out with the utmost respect for the architecture, from the flooring material to the fenestration and even the internal grand stair way was brilliantly retro-fitted with current code requirements for the handrail in a historically appropriate yet contemporary solution. The hotel does not have many floors, so I encourage anyone to take the stairs to experience the beauty of the restoration work. The recognition of the strong identity of the urban location and sense of place in Sydney’s CBD offers us a promise, an encounter, as the space of the possible. I wish I could say the same about the interior design. There was a real disconnect between the intent of the architecture and that of the interior design. The decoration at best seemed vague, and so for the guest experience, how could one of have a point of view about the effect of the design? The space of the expectant “possible” relationship I was expecting from the simple activity of stepping into Farrer Place’s south entryway marked Department of Agriculture, as local stories interpreting colonial history with ancestral elements of the Eora people by Waayni artist Judy Watso unfolded, or the sense of expansive freedom through the bronze Palazzo doors on Loftus Street into the latent quiet luxury of the grand stair was lost when I was met with the contrasting designs and colours of the lift lobby vestibule axminster carpet and that of the corridor carpet to the guest rooms, able to be seen in the same frame. Although an argument can be made about eclecticism and the use of curating a collection of exceptional vintage and contemporary objects this was not the case here, it read as a mismatched bric-à-brac (to borrow a Victorian word from the building time period that's true meaning in French means ”any old way” or ”at random”). GGuest UserErstens ist dieses Hotel perfekt für Geschäftsreisende in die Business Centres von Macquarie Park gelegen. Das Hotel ist 5 Minuten von Büros, Macquarie Centre und Bahnhöfen entfernt. Absolut perfekt für meine Arbeitsreise. Es gab einige positive. Die Zimmer sind gut, komplett, was Sie von einem Geschäftshotel erwarten würden. Bett war komfortabel, es gab ein TV, das ich nie verwendet, Raum für Gepäck und hängen Sie Ihre Kleider, ein Tisch und einen Stuhl etc.. Es geht jedoch von dort hinunter. Ich werde die negativen 1 von 1: 1. Eine Hütte hatte einen sehr starken Geruch, der aus ihr kam. Geruchte wie schlechte Musy BO. Ich musste die Hütte buchstäblich in den Schrank bewegen, da ich den Geruch nicht stand. Das bedeutete jedoch, dass ich diesen gemütlichen Geruch stinken konnte, wenn ich ins Zimmer kam und aus dem Zimmer kam. 2. 1 der gelieferten Badehandtücher hatte ein großes Loch/Tee in ihm. 3. Hausaufbewahrung machte einen Fehler und gab nicht Shampoo, sondern 2 Klimaanlagen. Ganz einfach, ich rief die Rezeption an und sie sagten, ich müsse auf die Rezeption herunterkommen, um es mir selbst zu bekommen. Gut, ging hinunter und gab 1 Flasche Shampoo. Ich ging hoch und ging in die Dusche nur um zu sehen, dass der gegebene Shampoo vorgeöffnet/vorgebraucht war. Schrecklich. Nach meiner Dusche ging ich zurück und sprach mit einem anderen Empfänger, der sich entschuldigt und mir 2 Flaschen Shampoo gegeben hatte. 4. Am zweiten Tag bemerkte ich, dass die Hausaufsicht nicht in die Rezeption gekommen war, so ging ich wieder hinunter und wurde gesagt, dass wegen der COVID, sie nur nach dem dritten Tag Ihres Aufenthalts, die es für mich null und leer machte, Hausaufsicht auf. 5. Das Fitnesszentrum war angemessen, aber sie füllten die Handtücher nicht und ließen die Handtücher nicht regelmäßig rein. Am zweiten Tag hatte ich einen benutzten Handtücher auf der Seite, da der Bin voll war. Am dritten Tag war der Bin noch voll und mein früherer Handtuch noch dort in derselben Position, die ich hinterließ. Am dritten Tag, keine sauberen Handtuchs mehr. 6. Wenn sie sich so besorgt über COVID, würden sie regelmäßiger öffentliche Bereiche wie den Fitnessraum und im Halle, wo ein leeres Glas und eine Tasse für 3 ganze Tage gesetzt werden. Ich kann dieses Hotel nicht an jemandem empfehlen, da ich mich vor allem wegen der Unreinigkeit der öffentlichen Räume mit einer Epidemie beschäftige.

GGuest User4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

GGastnutzerDie Lage ist großartig und es bietet ein großartiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in Bezug auf eine einigermaßen (könnte besser sein) Küche (spart Geld beim Ausgehen) und eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner in den Zimmern, was auch großartig ist. Dies ist das 2. Mal, dass ich geblieben bin. Das erste Mal war auf der Straße im 11. Stock in einem Schlafzimmer mit einem Schlafzimmer - sehr hell, aber Lärm von der Straße, aber man gewöhnt sich daran, sogar die Dusche geht auf ein Fenster und es ist hell und geräumig. Beim zweiten Mal war ich in einem Studio im 3. Stock mit Balkon. Lassen Sie sich nicht unbedingt von den Balkonen täuschen. Die Zimmer mit Balkon blicken auf den Parkplatz dahinter, also wenn Sie unter der 8. sind? Etage können Sie den Himmel möglicherweise sowieso nicht sehen, ohne natürlich auf den Balkon zu treten. Aber die Zimmer zur Hafenseite (obwohl keine Balkone, glaube ich) werden wahrscheinlich mehr Licht bekommen. Es ist schon älter und könnte eine Renovierung und vielleicht ein paar Pflanzen gebrauchen, um es optisch aufzupeppen, aber das Personal ist freundlich und professionell. Wenn sie renovieren, wird es wahrscheinlich viel teurer als jetzt! Es wohnen auch Bewohner in dem Gebäude, sodass ein reges Kommen und Gehen herrscht. Der Zugang über die 2. Etage direkt durch den Parkplatz zum Hafen ist großartig, aber es bedeutet auch, dass oft jemand über die Heckklappe hereinkommt oder manchmal die Tür einfach offen war. Daher würde ich kein Zimmer im 2. Stock nehmen. Mein einziges großes Problem war ein Kommunikationsausfall und die Reinigungskraft kam herein, während ich an einem Wochenende schlief (bei längerfristigen Aufenthalten legen Sie dann einen regelmäßigen Reinigungstag für Sie fest, und sie wurden ohne Vorankündigung fälschlicherweise geändert), also verwenden Sie diese Schilder „Bitte nicht stören“! Auch für meinen längerfristigen Aufenthalt waren sie etwas gemein bei der Bereitstellung von Tee / Kaffee und Waschbeuteln, aber auf Anfrage wurde nachgefüllt. Es gibt 2 x IGAs und einen Coles-Supermarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe und einen schönen Spaziergang in Richtung Chinatown und Glebe auf dieser Seite. Ich habe den Pool oder das Fitnessstudio nicht benutzt, aber sie befinden sich im 1. Stock und sahen für mich nicht so ansprechend aus, aber viele Leute benutzten sie.

GGuest UserDieses Hotel befindet sich im Zentrum von Sydney, gegenüber dem ikonischen „Victorian Era“ Queen Victoria Building, und in der Nähe von Sydney Town Hall, mit einer bestimmten „europäischen“ Luft zum Nachbarn. Das Hotel hat keine Sidney-Voraussetzungen: Es ist einfach, sauber, mit sorgfältiger Empfang -Desk-Personal. Zimmer variieren in Ausstattung und Preis: Ich nahm ein 5th-floor Zimmer mit Blick auf die QVB, kein offenes Fenster, zwei Betten, kleiner, aber nicht weniger Platz als ich brauchte; Aufzug. Ich hatte einen speziellen Preis, in einer „downtime“ für die Gastfreundschaftsindustrie. Das war ein erster Besuch: Das Hotel erfüllte meine Qualitätserwartungen, insbesondere für einen Budget Traveler.

TTeyuI usually do not post reviews, but I had to this time to share my experiences. I stayed for a total of 5 nights, Tue and check out on Sunday(7-12 Feb 2023) Plus point -Location is really good , plenty of thai/chinese restaurants and room is huge. -Bed is comfortable, -Yoshie is one that was one more friendly staff that I remembered her name , please give her a raise or wine on me.(she is a Japanese, in case i got her name wrong) Hotel staff, is a on and off experience. The night ones tend to be more ”cold” and the day ones are much better.( again, Yoshie was the ”better” ones, there are more, but I couldnt remember their name) Now on to the exciting part... Tuesday- Checkin day, A smooth day but without hand towels and when I asked for them before leaving the place for a concert. ( they claim they were in laundry or something and I find it hard to believe for a 5 star accommodation) We were without a frying pan as well( they send it up though when i called for it) Wed- Requested for toothbrush/Toiletries and had to request again after waiting for more than an hour, as it was forgotten ,I presumed Thu- Requested to change towel when we went out in morning, nothing was done when we were back in evening. I especially informed the morning reception guys to not forget it, but someone in the middle must have forgotten it. Evening time, The staff upon informing said they will have it there in 10 mins, which they did. By the way, the phone became faulty but I didn't bother to inform as I thought I wont have much trouble with it not in use. I was wrong. Friday- The express cleaning end-up with all the towels taken away and, thats it. We found out when we were back in evening. We were left with no towels and on top of that the phone was not working so I had to go downstairs to inform the reception/staff , on night shift i suppose. Again they said would be there in 10 mins, which more or less they did. Saturday- There was a huge cockroach and I had to kill it myself, informed the staff downstairs but honestly I dont expect change of room or anything, just to feedback. From the above, you can see there were full of dramas and I think these are basic expectations.(especially the towel part) Would I be back there if I ever go Sydney again? Unlikely.

EelsamDas Zimmer ist sehr sauber, der Boden ist hoch und das Licht ist gut, die Lage ist sehr gut und leicht zu erreichen, nur ein paar Haltestellen von der Harbour Bridge entfernt. Die Küche und Küchenutensilien sind sehr komplett, eher für Familienausflüge geeignet! !

GGastnutzerHotels in Australien sind teuer. Der Service und die Einrichtungen sind mit denen in China nicht zu vergleichen. Die Zimmergröße beträgt 36P. Das Zimmer mit Meerblick, das ich gebucht habe, liegt in Darling Harbour. Die Landschaft ist wunderschön. Arbeitskräfte sind zu teuer und es gibt eine große Kluft zwischen W in Sydney und W am Bund (W am Bund beträgt 50 P). Chinesische Online-Mitfahrgelegenheitsfahrer in Sydney sagten, dass niemand Hotelkellner werden möchte, also haben sie es getan kann nur Kellner mit hohem Gehalt einstellen. Die Lage von W ist wirklich gut, die beste Lage in Darling Harbour, direkt neben dem Sofitel. Die Lichter im Zimmer sind dunkel und diesig, und der Flur hat eine Sternenhimmeldecke. Wer es heller mag, mag es vielleicht nicht. Die Badewanne und der Duschraum sind nicht getrennt. Daher sind Nass und Trocken nicht getrennt. Das Frühstück ist komplett im westlichen Stil, was ziemlich reichhaltig ist. Für diejenigen, die nicht an westliches Frühstück gewöhnt sind, wird es unangenehm sein. Da ich mental keine hohen Erwartungen hatte, konnte ich diesen Standard akzeptieren. Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Stadtzentrums, umgeben von Restaurants und ganz in der Nähe von Chinatown.

It is an excellent hotel for location, for guests who may have difficulty walking up and down sloping streets, as it is in a comparably level area.
