We only had two days in Manila for the grand finale of our honeymoon before heading back to China. The vibe? Total luxury. We crashed at Discovery Primea, right in the heart of Makati. Our room was spacious, super comfy, and the 24/7 room service was basically a honeymoon dream come true 😂. Just outside the hotel, you're spoiled for choice: a lush park for morning strolls, tons of restaurants, and a massive shopping mall (Glorietta Mall, Ayala Center, Makati—open daily from 10AM to 9PM). We hit up the supermarket inside for a Filipino snacks haul, so our suitcase was loaded with local goodies for the trip home. Why we liked it: - Perfect central location—steps from cafes, shops, and all the action - Rooms are big and super comfy, with ultra-soft beds - Everything is spotless! Clean and fresh vibes everywhere - Loads of restaurants around Discovery Primea—just stroll and pick whatever looks tempting - Stock up on Filipino snacks at Glorietta Mall for the perfect souvenir 📌 Tips - Grab rides are easy and safe—plus, you can pay with Alipay - Don’t stress over the service in some spots, just chase the good food! - Discovery Primea is super convenient for both exploring Makati and chilling out - Double check your bill for extra charges at hotels or restaurants, just in case

Dies ist mein zweiter Aufenthalt auf der Manila-Halbinsel. Ich war einmal in 18 Jahren hier. Das Zimmer wurde renoviert, aber es hat sich nicht viel verändert. Der Service an der Rezeption ist immer noch effizient und freundlich. Die Qualität des Frühstücks ist auch recht gut, aber es gibt viele westliche Speisen und sehr wenige chinesische Speisen. Überraschenderweise war der Service im Foyer, der in der Vergangenheit beeindruckend war, zu einem günstigen Preis. Nachdem unser Auto angekommen war, waren viele Träger da, aber niemand half uns, die Tür zu ziehen oder das Gepäck mitzunehmen eine große Kappe an der Tür Okay, aber jetzt, wo sich die Person verändert hat, rede ich nur noch mit mir selbst und öffne die Tür nicht für den Gast. Später half uns ein Sicherheitsmann beim Tragen unseres Gepäcks. Das gleiche Serviceproblem trat auch bei der jungen Dame auf, die beim Frühstück Platz nahm. Sie sah so arrogant und enttäuschend aus. In professionellen Hotels werden Verdunkelungsvorhänge leider so hergestellt! ! !

Das Hotel besticht durch seine erstklassige Lage gegenüber dem Einkaufszentrum Greenland Shopping District. Zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe, was ihm von den Gästen viel Lob einbringt. Das Personal ist hervorragend und bietet herzliche Gastfreundschaft sowie exzellenten Kundenservice. Die Zimmer und Einrichtungen sind sauber und komfortabel, und das Hotel verfügt über einen schönen Swimmingpool und ein Fitnesscenter. Die Lage ist ideal für Urlaubs- und Geschäftsreisende, und die luxuriösen Zimmer bieten ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für preisbewusste Gäste.

Was given a room without bidet and hair dryer, AC and fridge not cold and visible moulds in the ceiling. The room is quite old and does not befit of 5 star status. I was relocated to a better room after giving this feedback but just wondering why they still give this kind of room to their guest? The hotel has seen its better times and quite jaded. I have to say that the hotel staff service is good, friendly and accommodating typical of Filipino renowned hospitality.

Checking in to this hotel was smooth. The staff was friendly and understood our concerns. They even upgraded our room to an apartment which was fabulous! Logging in to their internet was a bit confusing though because the lady at the front desk forgot to mention where we suppose to enter the credentials. The room was homey but with a little smell that's still tolerable. The food in the breakfast buffet was okay. But the good thing about this hotel is the malls downstairs. Very accessible

Immer wenn ich nach Hause komme und in Manila übernachten muss, suche ich nach Unterkünften mit Annehmlichkeiten, die ich noch nicht ausprobiert habe. Das I’M Hotel bot genau diese Annehmlichkeiten – einen einzigartigen, ausreichend langen Pool zum Bahnenziehen sowie das Onsen Spa. Ich war sofort begeistert. Der Poolbereich war wunderschön, besonders abends mit den „Vogelkäfig“-Cabanas. Das Spa – einfach traumhaft! Wenn ich es öfter hätte nutzen können, als empfohlen, hätte ich es getan! Pluspunkte gab es für die Massage, den persönlichen Service sowie die Dachterrassenbar und die Aussicht 😍 Ein großes Lob möchte ich auch dem professionellen, hilfsbereiten und einfach fantastischen Personal aussprechen. Ich glaube, dass ein Unternehmen vor allem dann eine große Chance auf langfristigen Erfolg hat, wenn sich die Mitarbeiter so wunderbar um die Bedürfnisse der Gäste kümmern. Die Rezeption half uns beim Ein- und Auschecken, bei der Buchung von Transfers und unterstützte uns bei allen anderen Anliegen – sei es Zimmerreinigung, Restaurantbesuche oder andere Aufgaben. Das Reinigungspersonal, die Poolmitarbeiter, die Mitarbeiter im Restaurant und die Sicherheitskräfte haben ihre Aufgaben weit übertroffen. Ich habe absolut nichts zu beanstanden. Ich möchte noch etwas anmerken, das ich gerne berücksichtigen würde. Während unseres zweitägigen Aufenthalts war die Auswahl an Getränken beim Frühstück leider sehr begrenzt. In einem tropischen Land wie unserem wären lokale Spezialitäten eine tolle Ergänzung zum Buffet gewesen. Calamansi- oder Mangosaft hätten wir sehr geschätzt. Ansonsten war alles wunderbar. Vielen Dank an das I’M Hotel für den erholsamen Aufenthalt.

Die Hotelausstattung ist in Ordnung und das Oakwood, in dem ich übernachtet habe, ist gut. Vom Kerngebiet Makatis bis zu diesem Standort gibt es starke Kontraste. Ich hoffe, Sie verstehen, was ich meine. Ich kann nur sagen, dass es eine Erfahrung wert ist, aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht geeignet ist.

Es war kurz und bündig. Es ist ein Familientreffen an einem Wochenende und dennoch so unvergesslich. Der Ort hat sich nicht verändert, seit wir das letzte Mal hier gebucht haben. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Es gibt ein Sofa, auf dem man Snacks essen kann, und sogar einen Arbeitsbereich, da wir von zu Hause aus arbeiten. Es gibt einen Innenpool für die Kinder und die Skyline von Makati ist aus dem riesigen Fenster zu sehen. Alles, was wir brauchten, ist bereits da und der Service ist auch hervorragend!!!

Die Gegend ist gut, ebenso die Ausstattung. Außerdem ist es günstig, insbesondere für Kunden mit knappem oder festem Budget. Der Kundenservice ist ebenfalls gut. Alle wichtigen Einrichtungen sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Das ist alles fürs Erste.

Situated in the heart of Makati and just a block away from Ayala Avenue, it strikes a pleasant balance between accessibility and quiet. You’re close enough to be in the middle of everything, yet tucked away from the busiest streets. Greenbelt, countless restaurants, cafés, convenience stores, and shopping options are literally just a short walk away. For travelers looking to unwind after a long day, there are several massage establishments nearby, and even in-house massage services are available, making it particularly convenient for guests staying a few days or longer. The building itself is undeniably old. Not neglected, not unsafe, and certainly not dilapidated—but old in the way many well-built structures are. You can tell it has decades behind it. In fact, it feels like one of those older buildings that have simply endured better than some newer developments. If you’re expecting sleek contemporary aesthetics, this may not be your first choice. If you’re primarily interested in practicality and location, the age becomes less important. The elevator situation deserves mention. During my stay, only one elevator was operational while another was undergoing upgrades. The functioning elevator is manually operated and has a charmingly old-school character—including a ceiling fan. Surprisingly, it was more efficient than elevators in some much newer buildings I’ve visited. Guests simply contact reception when they need the elevator to stop at their floor. It sounds unusual on paper but worked smoothly in practice. The room itself was exactly what I needed: clean, comfortable, and functional. The shower, toilet, and sink were all well-maintained with reliable water pressure and both hot and cold water available. The air-conditioning cooled the room effectively, Wi-Fi was dependable, and the television offered a respectable selection of channels. I also appreciated the practical amenities: a stove with kitchen ventilation, microwave, refrigerator, electric kettle, and an in-room safety box. The windows face the courtyard side of the property, allowing natural daylight into the room. The staff were professional, courteous, and efficient throughout my stay. If your priority is finding a safe, convenient, and comfortable place to rest while spending most of your time exploring Makati, I would happily recommend Prince Plaza II Condotel. In fact, given its location and room amenities, it could also work quite well for longer stays.
