My husband and I really enjoyed our 2-night stay in the Ziling Mountain View Suite. The entire villa is beautifully decorated but in a way that feels lived in rather than pretentious. It's like being invited to a friend's home in the mountains. If you are a book-lover like me, you will enjoy the villa and rooms even more because there are shelves full of books everywhere you look. When you are not seeing books, you are seeing the stunning gardens or views of the surrounding mountains. We loved the daybed in our suite, covered in colourful pillows with a window that perfectly frames the mountain view and we spent evenings curled up there with books. During the day we were in search of hikes and our host, who loves to travel and hike himself, had lots of thoughtful recommendations. There is a very steep (and beautiful) trail just steps away from the house that leads you up the mountain through bamboo forest, past a local temple, and up to a field with sweeping views. We had both breakfast and dinner at the villa and the food was incredible, including very fresh fruit and vegetables, simple and delicious noodles, and beautifully cooked pork, chicken, and seafood dishes. We were also treated to homemade Tiramisu (made by the owner). It feels like the owner genuinely enjoys sharing this beautiful property with guests and finding ways to help make your experience unique and memorable. This was my first time in China and warm and generous hosts like this, combined with the beauty of the area, make me eager to return.

We recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation. For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel. But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Wir wären auch gern hineingegangen, aber unser Zeitplan war eng, und die Kinder wollten morgens nicht aufstehen. Alles in allem war es ein tolles Erlebnis!

Mahlzeit: 130 Yuan, eine halbe Hühnersuppe, ein frischer Bambusspross, kostenloser Kaffee, Nachmittagstee ist auch sehr exquisit und beim Auschecken gibt es ein Souvenir. Das Gesamtgefühl, hier zu bleiben, lohnt sich, auch wenn ich einen Nachmittag drinnen bleibe und aus der Ferne arbeite. Ich freue mich auf die modernisierten Einrichtungen und werde in Zukunft wiederkommen.

Ein wahres Paradies der Erholung tief in Moganshan – sechs Sterne absolut verdient!] Nach einer zweieinhalbstündigen Fahrt von Shanghai checkten wir endlich in dieses Gästehaus ein, das wir uns schon ewig aufgehoben hatten – und das Erlebnis war in Wirklichkeit zehnmal beeindruckender als auf den Fotos! ✨ Ein Zimmer inmitten der Natur Unsere „Bambusschatten-Suite“ war wie ein lebendiges Gemälde! Die bodentiefen Panoramafenster mit 270 Grad Blick auf den endlosen Bambuswald holten den Raum direkt ins Zimmer. Morgens wurden wir sanft vom Gesang der Vögel und dem Sonnenlicht geweckt, und nachts konnten wir vom Bett aus den Sternenhimmel bewundern. Die Bettwäsche war genauso hochwertig wie in einem Sternehotel, und sogar die Pflegeprodukte waren von Acca Kappa – Qualität bis ins kleinste Detail. 🌿 Das Gästehaus selbst ist ein malerischer Ort Wir dachten, es wäre nur eine Unterkunft, aber wir verbrachten schließlich einen halben Tag damit, das Gästehaus zu erkunden! Der Designer hat die Stampflehmwände des alten Hauses geschickt erhalten und gleichzeitig einen minimalistischen, modernen Glasraum integriert. Besonders angetan waren wir vom schwebenden Infinity-Pool, der sich nahtlos in die fernen Berge und den Bambuswald einfügte; die Silhouettenfotos, die wir beim Nachmittagstee gemacht haben, erhielten unzählige Likes in den sozialen Medien. 🍲 Ein Hauch von Bergluft Das Frühstück verdient ein besonderes Lob! Die frisch zubereiteten Nudeln mit Schweinefleischstreifen, zubereitet von der Haushälterin, enthielten getrocknete Bambussprossen aus den Bergen – sie waren so frisch, dass mir fast die Augenbrauen ausfielen! Zum Abendessen bestellte ich die Freilandhühnersuppe vor; die Brühe war goldgelb, und ich trank drei Schüsseln davon. Die Haushälterin erzählte, dass viele Zutaten aus dem eigenen Garten stammten oder direkt von den Dorfbewohnern bezogen wurden, um die Frische zu garantieren. 💝 Herzlicher Service, der unsere Erwartungen übertrifft Schon bei der Buchung spürten wir die Aufmerksamkeit: Die Haushälterin schickte uns eine Woche im Voraus detaillierte Reisetipps und Wettervorhersagen. Bei unserer Ankunft erwartete uns die Haushälterin Xiao Wang bereits auf dem Parkplatz, half uns mit dem Gepäck und stellte uns Obst zur Begrüßung bereit. Der berührendste Moment war am dritten Tag, als die Temperatur plötzlich sank; wir erwähnten es beiläufig, und am Abend fanden wir eine Heizdecke und Ingwertee in unserem Zimmer vor.

What a lovely place! Beautiful interior design, cozy and the amenities are pretty new. The staff is so friendly, Tutu and the others girl are so sweet and they will take care of all you need. Even the owner is so attentive and make you feel at home. Everybody was so nice with little girls, and whole family. 🥰 We were truly spoiled this weekend! We will for sure come back ☺️

Good for taking beautiful photos for the social media but rather poor user experience. Aesthetics of this place are good, some corners are really charming. Still it is the comfort that we value the most in a hotel as well as the quality service and unfortunately they are not at the same level of the aesthetics. The room is huge but there is no sofa or chairs to sit and chat comfortably, just the two enormous heavy armchairs in the opposite corners of this long room. No mini bar/fridge, very poor lighting at the wash basin, impossible to do makeup. Zero privacy in the wc and shower since there are no actual doors there, just some short saloon style doors hanging in the middle, letting out the water from the shower and odors from the toilet. No hangers for the towels. No bathrobes provided which is strange for the hotel who’s main entertainment facility is the outdoor pool. At the outdoor pool there are very few deck chairs and no umbrellas at all. The communication was poor, mostly over wechat, since the staff speaks basically no English. We have asked twice, in advance, about the vegetarian option for breakfast and still they brought us meat in the breakfast set (only Chinese style food is available). Altogether the experience was rather disappointing. Glad to have booked just one night there. As for the surroundings, there is no access to the bamboo forest behind the hotel or across the road. And beware of the aggressive unleashed dogs in the village across the road if you decide to go for a stroll near the hotel.

A Comfortable, Pet-Friendly Stay with a Few Areas for Improvement The hotel can be difficult to identify when you first arrive because there is no sign directly on the building. Instead, the sign is attached to a gate that usually remains open, so it becomes partially folded and easy to miss. The hotel also does not have on-site parking. Guests park across the street at the restaurant where breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast was traditional Chinese and included steamed buns, sweet potato, a hard-boiled egg, watermelon, tea, and milk. Everything was very tasty. Coffee was also available, but it cost extra. The people looking after the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they were filling the swimming pool after cleaning it and told us it would be ready later that day. Although the pool was one of the main reasons we booked the hotel, it did not quite meet our cleanliness standards because the deeper areas still appeared slightly cloudy. However, many other guests were comfortable using it, and we saw people enjoying the pool every day. The library area was absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately, there was a strong smell of mildew that made it difficult to spend much time there. These were the main drawbacks of our stay. Our room, however, was lovely. It smelled fresh, the bed was firm and very comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The staff emptied the rubbish and replenished our drinking water every day. The bathroom products were high quality, and toothbrushes were provided upon arrival. The room would have been even better if there had been enough towels for everyone staying in it and if the water had been slightly hotter. The hotel is located directly beside the river, with access to a peaceful riverside walk through beautiful gardens. There is also an elevated walkway farther down the road that looked interesting, although we did not have the opportunity to explore it. The river area was especially relaxing, and if I return, I would bring folding chairs and a small folding table so we could sit in the shallow water, relax, and play games. Most attractions and restaurants are approximately a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The receptionist tried to help us with maps and itineraries. Unfortunately, even after attempting to find the same hike on three different days, we were unable to locate the trailhead. It seemed that even local residents were not very familiar with the exact route. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is that it is pet-friendly and does not charge an additional pet fee, which was an important reason we chose it. The gentleman at reception also helped us secure a dinner reservation at Naked Ranch, where we had a wonderful evening. Moganshan is a beautiful destination, and overall, this hotel provided a comfortable stay. There is certainly some room for improvement, but I would return because I slept incredibly well and appreciated the warm, helpful service. Thank you again to the staff for all their assistance.

Das Hotel wird Sie einen Tag im Voraus kontaktieren, um Ihr Nummernschild mitzuteilen. Tagsüber können Sie von 8:30 bis 16:30 Uhr den Berg hinauffahren Am Kontrollpunkt gibt es nach 16:30 Uhr keine Einschränkung auf der Bergaufstrecke. Vor dem Hotel gibt es einen Parkplatz und in der Open-Air-Bar vor dem Hotel können Sie bis 20:00 Uhr kostenlos bestellen und singen. Das Frühstück sollte früher erfolgen, da mehr Leute da sind und man sich einen Sitzplatz suchen muss. Insgesamt gute Bewertung.

Das Moshangyin Hotel ist ein wunderbarer Ort für eine entspannende Getaway in Moganshan. Setzen und aussehen zu den Bamboo-Wäldern ist unglaublich friedlich und bedenklich. Ob das Wetter sonnig oder wolkenig ist, bleibt die Atmosphäre ebenso angenehm und charmant. Ein weiteres wunderschönes Detail ist der nahe gelegene Strom Sie können den sanften Sound von fließenden Wasser hören, was noch mehr Ruhe zum Aufenthalt hinzufügt. Die Gäste sind sehr freundlich, willkommen und aufmerksam, so dass sich die Gäste bequem fühlen, fast wie sie in ihrer eigenen natürlichen Heimatumgebung. Die Gäste, die dort bleiben, sind auch respektvoll und angenehm, tragen zur ruhigen Atmosphäre bei. Der Transport ist auch sehr bequem, mit Taxis schnell und zuverlässig ankommen. Es gibt ein nahe gelegenes Dorf namens Yucun, das schön zu besuchen ist, und viele Szenenbereiche rund um das Hotel sind auch leicht zugänglich. Insgesamt ist dies ein idealer Ort für jeden, der nach Frieden sucht, schönes Design, Natur und eine wirklich entspannende Erfahrung in Moganshan.
