Hotel Rojan Bewertungen

Wir haben in dem familiengeführten Hotel Rojan zwei Nächte verbracht und hatten ein Superior-Zimmer mit zwei großen Fenstern und schönem Blick auf den Kirchturm. Das Hotel liegt superzentral und dennoch sehr ruhig in einer Seitenstraße ohne Verkehr. Hervorzuheben sind nicht nur die Sauberkeit der Zimmer sowie des Hotels generell, sondern auch das reichhaltige Frühstück. Bei jedem Detail merkt man sofort deutlich, dass den Gastgebern das Wohlbefinden ihrer Gäste eine Herzensangelegenheit ist. Außerdem wurden wir mit Rat und Tat bei Restaurantbesuchen und Tourenplanung unterstützt. Sulmona ist eine reizende kleine Stadt und bietet sehr viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in die bergige Umgebung, sowohl im Sommer als auch im Winter. Zuguterletzt hat uns Gianluca noch mit dem eigenen Auto zum Bahnhof gefahren, weil es kein Taxi gab! Wir wissen jetzt schon, dass wir hier sehr gerne wieder hinfahren werden.

Auf unserer Motorradtour durch die Abruzzen haben wir eine Nacht in diesem schönen Hotel in Sulmona verbracht. Sehr gut gefallen hat uns die zentrale und ruhige Lage im historischen Zentrum der Stadt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in kurzer Zeit zu Fuß erreichbar - wobei Sulmona selbst eine Sehenswürdigkeit ist. Von Gianluca wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und mit Restaurantempfehlungen bestens versorgt. Als Highlight zeichnete er uns (freihändig!) eine Straßenkarte für eine Motorrad-Rundtour mit tollen Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten entlang der Strecke. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und geräumig, mit Blick auf ein Seitenportal der gegenüberliegenden Kirche. Lediglich die Klimaanlage war etwas schwach und schaffte es nicht das Zimmer adäquat herunterzukühlen. Unseren Aufenthalt haben wir sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Ausgezeichnete Lage in der Altstadt. Wir hatten grosse Mühe, den Weg durch das Gewirr der Einbahnstrassen zu finden, aber wenn man dort ist, ist‘s perfekt. Vertrauen Sie nicht dem Navi, sondern folgen Sie unbedingt der Beschreibung auf der Homepage des Hotels. Ausserordentlich liebenswürdige und gastfreundliche Aufnahme durch die Hotelfamilie. Gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants. Komfortable, gemütliche und gut eingerichtete Hotelzimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wow, a gem located in the city center. A family run hotel that puts their heart and soul into making your visit wonderful. Spacious clean rooms, and a beautiful hotel. Angela and Gianluca are gracious hosts!! Would return/recommend in a second. Thank you...

Best place to stay! Bed was comfortable, room was clean. The owner stayed up and waited for us to get home at 3;00 am from a wedding just in case someone might need something. They served a delicious breakfast every morning. The owners were so warm and kind. Enjoyed being there with them. We will definitely stay there again.

Took trip to Sulmona to visit family in July. Hotel Rojan was where we stayed for the 5 days we were there. We started as only a party of two and had booked 1 room. A week prior to the trip we need to add an additional room. They were easily accommodating to this last minute change. The location of this hotel is absolutely fabulous. It is close to the heart of Sulmona and surrounded by restaurants, bars, and shopping!!! Every time we went out we were greeted by the friendly family staff! The rooms are spacious with beautiful decor and stocked mini fridge. It was very hot in Sulmona when we were there and the air conditioning was a wonderful retreat from the heat. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of items. This will definitely be the hotel we return to with our future visits to Sulmona!!

The perfect base to explore the area. We stayed for 3 nights at this lovey family run hotel. Clean and comfortable, with excellent breakfasts (and perfect coffee!). Gianluca and his mother gave us warm welcome and he was a great help in giving us detailed itineraries for a couple of days with his recommendations - some great off the beaten track walks gave us a fascinating insight into this beautiful area. We loved the local knowledge too - the perfect little bakery where we could pick up delicious pizza rosso for our lunch! A real pleasure to stay, hopefully back some day.

Reading the reviews before staying I had pretty high expectations for our stay here. And what can I say? Ive never experience the level of customer service like this from any hotels Ive stayed at including Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons and Beverly Hills Hotel. This is not hyperbole, Angela and her family are a hospitality force of nature that is second to none. Within minutes, she had us feeling like we knew each other forever. She even came to meet us on the Main Street to make sure we could find the hotel due to a festival at the time. When you see so many good reviews for a place you think, at least I do, it’s too good to be true, but I can verify all the good things other people have said. THIS PLACE and the FAMILY are GEMS. The hotel is spotless, air con was perfect and the bed and shower were just as good. What else is there to say? If you are in Sulmona you must stay here - you wont want to leave and you will want to invite Angela’s entire family over for sunday dinner. Nothing better. HiGHLY RECOMMEND

You must stay here when visiting Sulmona or Abruzzo. ROJAN are the letters of the endearing family who welcomed us with the warmth of the region and made sure our comforts were met from extra pillows to the amazing homemade breakfast buffet to suggestions of sites to see. Much love and respect for their hospitality!

The Hotel Rojan is a wonderful hotel and you cannot find better people than the hotel owners, After I explained I was looking for information about my grandparents in Perano, a town we were on our way to visit, phone calls were made by the owners to the town hall of Perano. Information about my family was given to the people in the town hall and the date we would be in Perano. I had tried contacting the town hall before our trip with no luck, but the owners of the Hotel Rojan made our trip to Perano a great success. The hotel rooms were well maintained and very comfortable; breakfast was very satisfying. This is a fantastic, nicely located place to stay in Sulmona.

I’ve never stayed at a hotel where I’ve felt so comfortable that I haven’t wanted to leave, until we stayed at Hotel Rojan. The hotel is located on a quiet little street within walking distance of everything in the center of Sulmona, which is why we booked it. The location is great. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfasts and our morning cappuccinos were delicious. More than that though, the people who own and run the hotel are some of the nicest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Our stay in Abruzzo would have been very different without their advice and recommendations for restaurants and day trips, complete with maps and notes. We saw so much of the area, which is incredibly beautiful. What a memorable trip. We were leaving friends when we checked out to go home. Thank you so very much, Gianluca, Angela and your mother, Rosanna. We hope to see you again.

We'll be back. This was exactly the vibe you'd want from a European hotel. Quiet, clean, with the most friendly and helpful staff (I wanted to hang out with Angela and her family!) All three generations of our family were comfortable, (the adorable wooden baby crib was nicer than any hotel option I'd previously seen.) They had toys in the lobby for kids. And my parents loved the AC. And I could go on and on about Sulmona...but I don't really want the secret to get out. What a gem. (Oh and I recommend the breakfast. Homemade options, fresh fruit, etc. Definitely worth it!)

I cannot say about good things about this place. I solo traveled around the Abruzzo region for 2 weeks and this was by far my favorite spot. Not just because of the region but because of the wonderful hotel owner and his family. He was so warm and welcoming, made me an itinerary to see the surrounding areas, spoke amazing English so incredible ease of business. Clean and comfy room and a stunning area of Italy. Out of Bari, Pescara, L’Aquila and Sulmona this was def my favorite stop!

As part of my Italy trip, and visit to Abruzzo, I stayed at Hotel Rojan for two days. First, my plan was to stay one night, but later, I came back and stayed another night as well, as my other accommodation in a different location didn’t work out well. Hotel Rojan is a family run hotel with all modern amenities, great breakfast and super clean facilities. It’s right in the center of Sulmona ( at historical center) and practically walking distance to everywhere. The hotel staffs ( family members) attends to your every details and goes way beyond to help you and make you feel comfortable. They are great to give you suggestions to what you could do with sightseeing and help with arrangements.I didn’t drive and when I had to go to my next accommodation, the family members drove me there and they waited with me in the next location till I checked in. Angela and her husband, Andrea was very accommodating and super supportive, it felt like being at home. I would definitely stay again and do highly recommend if anyone is looking for an accommodation in Sulmona, Italy.
