5-Sterne-Hotels in Taichung

A 5 star hotel that deserves its rating. Rooms are comparable with Sheraton/Hilton etc... it's a well-oiled machine and everyone was efficient and kind. Shout out to my namesake SEAN in the Prime restaurant on the roof who took care of us with a memorable Christmas dinner. One for any short list in Taichung.

Das Schwimmbad im obersten Stockwerk wird renoviert und im Februar 2024 eröffnet, die Wassertemperatur im Schwimmbad lässt sich jedoch nicht regulieren. Im Winter ist es beim Schwimmen tatsächlich sehr kalt. Schade, dass das Personal vor Ort verfügt nicht über Möglichkeiten zur Temperaturregulierung. Nach dem Umziehen muss man noch eine Treppe hinaufgehen, um ins Obergeschoss zu gelangen. Es empfiehlt sich, im Obergeschoss eine einfache Umkleidekabine einzurichten. 2. Das Toilettenlicht im Zimmer kann nicht einzeln gesteuert werden. Es muss am Hauptschalter auf beiden Seiten des Bettes ein-/ausgeschaltet werden. Wenn nachts die Toilette benutzt werden muss, wird das Licht im gesamten Zimmer eingeschaltet müssen eingeschaltet sein, um die Toilette zu benutzen. Es wird empfohlen, dass die Toilette über eine unabhängige Möglichkeit zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Lichts verfügt

Overall services were good, from concierge, to check in and check out. The room that was allocated to us was spacious however they could have done better to do regular maintenance on their TV channels and systems. Some channels showed black screen with audio whereas some with visuals but no audio. Called up for service and they got a technician over to check yet no outcome and they decided to brush me off by blaming it on system updates backend. Tried over the next few days and still didn't work, and gave up eventually. Not returning to this hotel for my next trip to Taichung.

Location was good for me cause i would like to travel new and old district of the Taichung. The hotel located in between new and old district. It is little bit outdated design, however they did maintain in great condition.

The Lin Hotel in Taichung was conveniently located for my needs, making it easy to get around the city. While the décor feels quite dated and would benefit from refurbishment, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options, though it was very busy during my stay. Overall, a decent stay with great convenience, but the hotel could do with some updates.

Great hotel for families. The staff were great and breakfast was very comprehensive. Large rooms and there was a large play area on one of the floors which was beside the gym and laundromat. The service staff were so nice to help us with the laundry machines.

We have always stayed in this hotel whenever we go to Taichung. The hotel location is great for us because there are 2 24 hour convenience stores just downstairs. A lot of different restaurants on few steps away. SOGO department store across the street. Too bad the movie theaters are closed now we used to be able to catch a late night movie during our previous trips. Starbucks is in the basement of the building where the hotel is but with the great coffee from Familymart and 711 you do not need starbucks. Bus station is just downstairs. (no train yet in Taichung so this is the next best thing.) There are taxis waiting all the time downstairs as well. The buffet breakfast is great here with a very friendly head chef (head chef Hsieh) who is always present and interacts with all the diners. (too bad we missed him this trip) The rooms are big but do take note of new law in Taiwan and bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste and razors. Although the great thing about this hotel is they do sell toiletries at a cheap price (toothbrush and small toothpaste is just ntd 10) unlike other hotels in Taiwan that absolutely do not provide anything and do not sell. If it is your first time, I would recommend staying here as you will not go wrong here. Then maybe try other hotels next time so you get to experience the Splendor Hotel standard.

It was a theme park hotel. Very far from town. The hotel was not a bad one, the facilities inside are good, but it can be better for the price range. The theme park is very old, and rather run down, some equipments were closed and abandoned with rust... not a bad one, but consider the price paid, it was not value for money...will revisit if the theme park go thru major renovation.

Very lovely old charm luxurious hotel. Would love to stay here again!

Das neue Wetter des neuen Hotels, die Innenausstattung der modernen Gefühle, die Lichter, die Malerei und den gesamten Raum der Kunst sind sehr geliebt, die elegante Design-Stil ist sehr beliebt, die Zimmer sind sehr gut eingerichtet, das Bett ist sehr gut Schlafraum, die Doppelseite ist bequem für beide Personen, der Wäscheraum ist groß, Die Gemüsedecke ist sehr gut, das Geschirrdesign ist nichts für den Raum, der gesamte Raum macht es sich bequem und lohnt sich, wieder zu besuchen! Frühstück ist in chinesischer und westlicher Art und die Farbe ist reichhaltig und lecker, um eine Vielfalt zu wählen, ist sehr geeignet, mit der Familie oder 35 Freunden zu erleben! Herzliches Begrüßen des Hotelservicepersonals, die Menschen respektiert werden, die Menschen werden gerne wieder aufhalten! Empfehlen 👍
