We had an amazing stay at this hotel—it was my boyfriend’s first time visiting Durban, and this place completely blew his mind! From the moment we arrived, the incredible staff made us feel welcome, even surprising us with a free room upgrade. Our room had a breathtaking view of the ocean and the city skyline—perfect for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Durban. The location was unbeatable: just steps away from fantastic restaurants (we were spoiled for choice!), the beach, and even attached to a mall for ultimate convenience. Whether you’re looking for luxury, convenience, or just a stunning getaway, this hotel delivers on every level. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.

A good place to be with a beautiful view.... ”The View” as its name . Closer to a shopping complex , gas station, 5min drive to the beach, closer to the beach there also restaurantswhere you can dine whole having the beach view, Toti Beach. its also closer to galleria Mall. The place is too steep so be ready for that... Their food is delicious, we had dinner there at their restaurant called Giorgios but its expensive I must say. Not sure about their breakfast and lunch though. Staff and reception is just ok. I had requested them to add a crib bed for a child and upon arrival they told us that the storeroom is closed because we arrived at 6pm so it's too late. We then asked them to give us atleast a bedsheets or any linen so we can make a plan for our son, they said ok but never pitched , nothin, not even getting back to us to say what could be the matter. We asked again the following day, they took four hours to bring a bedsheets. Bottom line is if you have a child do not, I repeat DO NOT book that place because they will lie straight to your face saying they could not reach you since you booked via an APP. I'm not sure whetherI want to talk about their kitchen in the rooms. You will have to call them now and again to bring things and they take 3 to 4hours just for a simple thing like a spoon. One thing I can say is they don't listen and listening means you respect your business and your clients I flew from overseas to rest and have a good time and have treat ourselves since they have a spar but I ended up canceling my plans for a spa because I didn't want additional dissapointments. The rest I don't even want to mention...and that is my experience after paying so much Money and looking forward to a good vacation 😌 BUT...

Das ist das beste Hotel meiner Reise in SA. Der Schwimmbad ist erstaunlich und fantastisch. Die Aussicht ist auch sehr gut. Ich habe für einen Monat in Südafrika geblieben und in 10 verschiedenen Hotels geblieben. Dieser ist wirklich imprssive. Und ich habe den besten Mond in meinem Leben gesehen. Ich denke, ich bin sogar bereit, die Hälfte der Erde zu überqueren, um dort wieder zu bleiben. Das Zimmer ist nicht schlecht. Aber der Nachteil ist die Einstellung des Empfangspersonals und der Professionalität des Restaurantpersonals sind nicht gut genug. Verzögert die Fortschritte des Hotels.

I love this place. It is simple and clean. Nice they have tables and chairs outside by the pool to chill at night. Location is great! It is near Florida Rd. So this place is surrounded by restaurants. The staff is super friendly. I forgot to take photos of the room. The room is clean and I love the room design. Great value for money too! Will definitely go back.

Ich war kürzlich im Hilton Garden Inn Umhlanga Arch und hatte eine sehr positive Erfahrung. Die Lage ist fantastisch, im Herzen von Umhlang mit einfachem Zugang zu allem. Das Zimmer war schön und super komfortabel, was für einen entspannten Aufenthalt gemacht wurde. Das Frühstücksbuffet war erstaunlich, lecker und mit vielen Optionen, was eine tolle Möglichkeit war, den Tag zu beginnen. Aber das Restaurant war zu heiß. Es fühlte sich, als wollte jeder einen Fan fangen, und ich denke ehrlich, sie sollten entweder auf die AC wechseln oder eine bessere Lösung für die Kühlung des Raums finden. Der Pool war schön und gut gepflegt, und es ist heiß, aber ehrlich gesagt, es fühlte sich etwas seltsam, im Sommer in einem heißen Pool zu schwimmen. Ich denke, der heißen Pool wäre viel mehr genießbar während der kühlen Monate, wie im Winter. Eine weitere Nacht ist, dass sie den Pool zu früh schließen....7 Uhr ist ziemlich unvernünftig, vor allem in einem Ort wie Umhlanga, wo Sie die Abende genießen möchten. Insgesamt ist es ein gutes Hotel mit großer Ausstattung, aber die Restauranttemperatur und die frühe Stätte schließen sicherlich etwas Aufmerksamkeit.

Beautiful place, it is very quiet and peaceful. I loved the sea view😍. The room is very clean and spacious, very friendly staff, always there to help. Breakfast was very delicious, many options to choose from, this guest house is close to many restaurants and party places, this is a huge bonus, very convenient, I highly recommend. Whether you want a peaceful stay of you want to be out and about, this is definitely the right place to book😉❤️

The hotel room wasn’t clean enough,dust on the headboard and table,water dripping from the window of the shower to the room,the tv was not working,the hotel is nicely located and nearby the biggest shopping mall,has nice view,overall the hotel was okay but a little bit of renovations would be nice,if i had to book there again,I’d definitely would.

Einfache Eincheckung, fabulöser Blick. Friedlich und ruhig. Frühstück war fantastisch. Restaurantpersonal ist super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Pool war erstaunlich und großartig. Allerdings 1. Das Badezimmer war nicht sauber. Bitte sehen Sie die beigefügten Bilder der Haare hinterlassen. 2. Keiner antwortete auf unsere Zimmeranrufe um 6 Uhr 3. Keine Zahnkits gegeben/verfügbar 4. Es gibt 0 Lichter im Deckel. Die Seitenleuchten und Lichter bieten nicht genügend Licht. 5. Das Zimmer war kleiner als erwartet. 6. 1 kleine Flasche Wasser ist zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Zimmer sind nicht mit mehr Wasser, außer für diese eine kleine Flasche. Wenn Sie mehr benötigen, müssen Sie es kaufen.
