SShania AnrieWe stayed here or 4 nights during our Disneyland and Disney California Adventure trip, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, everything was seamless.
The reception staff were consistently helpful, insightful, and clearly experts in what they do, you can tell they take pride in their work. The hotel itself was spotless and well-maintained. A complimentary breakfast is provided daily. While the breakfast wasn’t quite to my personal taste, I recognize that’s a matter of preference.
Our room was fully equipped with a microwave, mini refrigerator, and even a bathtub. The air conditioning and heating worked perfectly together, and we enjoyed a lovely view of the city. It truly felt like a home away from home.
We’ve stayed in many hotels over the years, and this is easily one of the best. We will absolutely be returning on our next visit.

Jjoyceswy🏰 Ideal Spot for a Disneyland Visit
We stayed here during our Disneyland trip and found it to be a great choice for the occasion. The hotel is within walking distance to both Disneyland and Disney Downtown, which made getting around super convenient.
🍽️ The room was equipped with a microwave—a nice touch for quick meals or snacks. Everything else was quite standard, nothing fancy, but it had what we needed for a comfortable stay.
🛍️ There are pharmacies and other shops nearby, so essentials are easy to grab. If you're coming for Disney, this place is definitely worth considering.
👍 Overall: Simple, practical, and well-located for Disney-goers.

GGuest UserLocation is very close to Disneyland which is perfect, about 7-10 minute walk. It is hard to see the actual hotel because of the surrounding tall buildings but the small entrance is right next to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. We are a family of 6 with 16,7,8 and 3 year old kids. We were given a corner room, 2 queen bed suite. Room location is not ideal, we have a view of the hotel’s HVAC system. I think the suite is quite small but it does not matter to us since we didn’t book to stay at the hotel but to spend in Disneyland. I have one complaint about the room: the charging station (one) by the night stand was not working, as well as the reading light on one of the beds. This is personally important to me as I need to charge my phone at the end of the day and I need it close to my bed for easy access. The bathroom is clean. Spacious stand in shower. Great water pressure and temperature. Spacious bathroom vanity with large LED mirror. Towels are enough. Toiletries are complete. Room kitchen is complete with a spacious fridge. Room sofa is ok, not the most comfortable but it is not a deal breaker for me. The sofa can turn into a bed but we didn’t use it. One large tv in the living area and one large tv in the bedroom. I think the closet size is decent, has limited number of hangers. Hotel lobby and dining area is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly, courteous and professional. Free buffet breakfast when I booked, it was good- depending on the day, they offered scrambled eggs, sausage, Canadian bacon, tater tots, fried potatoes, grapes and honeydew, different flavored yogurt, make-your-own-Mickey-waffles, bagels. They have all the condiments and all kinds of drinks. You can order food from your room from outside places (room service) but the choices are limited and of course more expensive; we used DoorDash instead as the price is about the same, if not, cheaper and the choices are endless and it was delivered right to our room anyway. Check in and check out process is quick and smooth. I’d say our stay was comfortable and enjoyable for the most part!

YYukaaa26I had a special and wonderful experience at this hotel. We stayed here for two nights for my birthday. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning and a very friendly and kind hotel staff greeted me in Japanese and let me check in immediately. Moreover, they upgraded our room. On the first night, when I came back from Disney and entered the room, there was a paper bag and a letter. Inside was a Disney gift from the hotel. I was really moved and very happy. I didn't have time to thank the hotel staff in person, but I really appreciate it. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful experience!

GGastnutzerHotel was a short walk to the entrance to Disneyland and California Adventure. Check in was very quick and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Parking was additional but not a deal breaker, although other hotels on the block do offer free parking. They do guarantee a spot for each room, so that is helpful. After parking we were contacted by staff to move our truck to a larger spot where it would be safer, very nice touch! The room was clean and easy to access by stairs or elevator. The common space for the room and bathroom were very small, but doable. Keurig type coffeemaker and coffee/tea provided in the room along with a mini fridge and microwave all in working order. Bed and pillows were comfy. I would definitely book again, especially at the rate we got on Trip.

On our forat day hte rooms.wanst cleaned. Every day after, I had to wait for.thwm.to come by and we had to go.outsode the door.for.them.to clean it even then, they did not really clean it to standarda I.whad to ask them to vacuum the floor. They also do not give us 4.towels as what I have reserved. They want us to call the service desk and they come to.del8ver it so not bad. I just think it's ridiculous when the housekeeping itself.reuse to give extra.
I only went.t9 a breakfast once. It looks like they always have the same menu every day.
Overall, it's not that bad. But if they improve the service, that would be a wonderful hotel.

GGastnutzerHello we arrived earlier than our time and Alexa was very thoughtful and helpful! Our ac unit was not working and we were moved to a bigger room without any extra charges and the ac unit worked well and kept us cool which was a relief because the weather was in the 100s which is very unusual. The complaint I have is the hotel is a bit run down and one of the guest was smoking *** because you could smell it throughout the hallway. I would possibly stay at portofino again but it really needs a renovation staff is very friendly and helpful no complaint with staff!

GGastnutzerSehr sauber! Nicht zu weit von Disneyland und wir konnten beide Tage Parkplätze finden, die für mich eine Notwendigkeit ist. Meine einzigen Fragen waren beim Einchecken, der Mann, der mir geholfen hat, war extrem freundlich, aber die Frau am Countdown neben ihm war sehr brutal und nahm meine ID von ihm und starrte an sie und dann an mich sehr beschuldigend. Ich weiß nicht, ob sie es für falsch oder was dachte, aber es war schrecklich und sehr grausam. Meine andere Frage war, dass, als wir um 8:30 Uhr zum Frühstück heruntergekommen waren (Frühstück um 9:30 Uhr) sie fast vollständig aus dem Essen waren (alles, was übrig war, waren einige Kartoffeln, Getreide und Oatmeal) und als wir die Küchenpersonal fragten, ob sie zu gehen wären. Die wunderschöne Lage und das Zimmer waren sehr gut, es war nur ein Teil der Mitarbeiter, die es ein wenig zerstört haben. (Außer dem Mann, der uns angemeldet hat, war er sehr nett!). Nicht eine schreckliche Erfahrung, aber wenn ich das viel bezahle, würde ich einen besseren Service erwarten.
