3-Sterne-Hotels in Ulaanbaatar

Ich werde einfach mit der Aussage beginnen, dass ich dieses Hostel völlig empfehle! Ich habe es zweimal während meines Aufenthalts in Mongolei reserviert. Der Besitzer und seine Familie sind so süß und nett. Das Hostel ist brandneu und unglaublich sauber. Es gibt eine Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Waschmaschine und Trockner, Werkzeuge und ein Warm-/Kältewasser-Dispenser. Der Ort sieht genau wie die Bilder aus. Als einsamer Frauenreiseleiter fühlte ich mich hier unglaublich sicher. Die Lage war auch großartig! Es dauert 30 Minuten zu Fuß, um zu Sukhbaatar Platz zu gelangen und es gibt viele Restaurants, Cafés/Backen und Einkaufsgeschäfte auf der Straße. Es gibt keine AC, aber ich bin ziemlich sicher, der Besitzer kann einen Fan bieten. Es war warm in dem Zimmer, aber nie so heiß, dass ich das Gefühl hatte, ich brauchte den Fan, da wir die Fenster offen hatten. Ich würde absolut hier wieder reservieren, wenn ich nach Mongolei zurückkehre. Ich empfehle:)

Hotels in Ulaanbaatar sind eigentlich sehr teuer. Dieses Mal waren wir drei auf Geschäftsreise und haben uns deshalb für dieses Hotel entschieden. Die Lage ist sehr gut, an der Central Street, neben dem Ulaanbaatar-Kaufhaus. Der Besitzer ist engagiert und verantwortungsbewusst, und es sind alle notwendigen Einrichtungen vorhanden. Die Betten sind auch relativ sauber. Allerdings ist die Ausstattung und das Management dieses B&Bs im Vergleich zu einem Hotel nicht so gut wie in einem Hotel. Für diesen Preis sind wir jedoch bereits sehr zufrieden.

The Ultimate Host: The biggest highlight of our stay was the resort owner, who is incredibly friendly, accommodating, and speaks fluent English. Having a host you can communicate with easily in the wilderness is a game-changer. There is absolutely no need to join a rigid group tour; the owner quickly arranged a private driver for us (at our own expense) to visit nearby attractions like Turtle Rock and the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex. It allowed us to customize our own itinerary and enjoy total freedom. The Vibe & Accommodation: The resort is beautifully designed with a sleek, modern wooden main building. We stayed in a Duplex Dome, which offered incredible space and a skylight for stargazing. The biggest luxury was the private, clean bathroom with excellent hot water and separate wet/dry areas—a rare find that completely redefines the typical Mongolian camping experience! The resort sits in a peaceful valley surrounded by majestic rock formations and roaming horses, giving it a dreamy, ”Little Switzerland” feel. Top-Notch Amenities (All Free!): Unlike other remote camps, this place keeps you entertained. Inside the main building, there is a designated Ping Pong room, a billiards table, and Karaoke rooms—all completely free to use! Outside, they have basketball court, volleyball court, a colorful children's playground, and BBQ pits. Incredible Food: The dining here blew us away. The included breakfast was fresh and relaxing. However, I highly recommend ordering their ala carte dinner. They serve a fantastic mix of Western and traditional Mongolian dishes. We ordered the grilled meat skewers with fries, a massive chicken Caesar salad, a comforting hot vegetable and meat stew, and traditional Mongolian Huushuur (deep-fried meat pastries) and Buuz (steamed dumplings). Everything was incredibly flavorful and hearty! Horseback Riding Nearby: There is a professional horse ranch run by a neighbor just 100 meters away. It costs 30,000 MNT per hour, which is very reasonable. Tip: If it's your first time riding, I highly recommend hiring a coach to guide you for safety. Verdict: 10/10. An unforgettable stay with amazing hospitality. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Die Hotelsuche in Ulaanbaatar war eine echte Herausforderung. Hotels in der Stadt sind generell teuer und alt. Ein Hotel einer mittelpreisigen Kette kostet in Ulaanbaatar schnell über 600 Euro. Dieses Hotel bot also kein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, aber nach einiger Suche war es das einzige, das mir zusagte. Die Umgebung war zumindest akzeptabel, auch wenn es nicht gerade günstig war. Insgesamt war es eines der besseren Hotels, in denen ich während meiner Reise übernachtet habe. Es liegt in der Nähe des Shangri-La-Einkaufsviertels, etwa 8-10 Gehminuten entfernt. Restaurants und andere Annehmlichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe.

We had a very late (early in the morning) check in. smooth process. They brought breakfast boxes to the room around 9a. The breakfast was intentionally cold but good. Meat, eggs, salad, bread. There is also a couple of cafes near by to get other food and drinks. Breakfast was included in the price! Rooms were very reasonably priced.

Das Hotel wurde in der Nähe des Bahnhofs gewählt, um bequem zu gehen (bevor es buchstäblich 500 Meter) – in Ulan-Bator nicht-spieler Verkehr. Frühstück ist spezifische, aber es ist möglich zu finden, dass man essen kann. Das Hotel liegt an der nächsten Tür des koreanischen Lebensmittelnetzes CU 24-hour. Die Zahl war mit der angemeldeten in Einklang. Es gibt ein Problem mit der – von ihnen buchstäblich die ganze Nummer zwei (mit einer im Badezimmer). Aber das intelligente Toilette!

Das Zimmer war im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung und den Preis wert. Der Service war gut, Anfragen wurden in der Regel schnell bearbeitet. Das Hotel hat einen 90er-Jahre-Stil; man merkt, dass es früher ein ordentliches Hotel war. Einige Einrichtungen sind renovierungsbedürftig, aber die Lage ist günstig, ganz in der Nähe des staatlichen Kaufhauses und des Dschingis-Khan-Platzes. Für eine Stadt wie Ulaanbaatar finde ich es akzeptabel.

Room: The hotel needs to clean the room thoroughly, not just the bathroom but also the carpeted area, and fix the base board moldings as well as the loose heater radiator which supposed to be anchored down to the wall. Although the room is carpeted wall to wall, I can see bare floor on the edges and the corners. Location: Not good, but at the same time not bad either. All attractions are within $3~$4 away which is more than I paid in other ~stan countries nearby. May be it is a Mongoljan thing, but for me it wasn't easy to hire taxi cab unless I am willing to pay the extra tips. The front staffs: Very friendly and eager to provide help. Not all of them speaks English, but it is not a problem since they translator app is widely available. Furnitures in the room: Very old, and there are wears and tears every part of the furniture. I don't know the other rooms, but the room I was given was too small for the furnitures to be placed in first place. Overall: I wouldn't stay here again. The over all conditions of the hotel was not even close to the pictures shown in the trip.com app. If you select this hotel based on the pictures, you would be very disappointed if you are given the room I stayed in. Avoid Room 602 anyway you can.
