We recently stayed at this beautiful homestay in Shantou and absolutely loved it. The Shi He Yuan concept is thoughtfully brought to life here and making it a perfect space for family bonding or a cozy gathering with friends. The mix of traditional architecture and modern interior design creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Every corner is tastefully done, striking a lovely balance between heritage and comfort. It's not just a place to stay , it's an experience.  If you're looking for a peaceful city getaway, this is the ideal spot. We highly recommend staying a little longer to truly unwind and recharge mentally. Can't wait to return :) 

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, sehr nahe Longyanlu, wo alle Essen sind, aber auf einer Seitenstraße, wo es nicht zu laut ist, aber immer noch erlaubt einfach auf und fallen von Didi. Das Zimmer war insgesamt gut. Die Hausaufbewahrung war nicht gut, aber sie reinigen das Zimmer nicht, es sei denn, das Front Desk ist über die Notwendigkeit informiert. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet und ist sehr gut ausgestattet.

Great service and amazing food next door! 📍 Location & Convenience I booked this hotel primarily for its fantastic location near the food scene. It is incredibly convenient to get to **Zhujiang Food Street**: just turn left from the hotel’s main entrance, walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the traffic light, turn left, and you are right there! 🛎️ Service The customer service here is exceptional. Both the front desk and the housekeeping teams were incredibly friendly and welcoming—a huge thank you to everyone! Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. 🧺 Amenities Comparison That said, when comparing the specific amenities—particularly the washing machine and dryer facilities—with the **Mehood Lestie Flagship Hotel (Shantou MixC)**, I still prefer the MixC location. 🏨 Brand Impression I am highly satisfied with the customer service standards across the Mehood Lestie brand. Their staff truly makes a difference and always ensures we feel welcome. After two separate stays with the Mehood Lestie group, they will definitely be our top choice whenever we visit China in the future. 🥢 Bonus Food Recommendation! Don't miss the shop right next door to the hotel selling rice noodle rolls (*zhu chang fen*) and *har gao* (shrimp dumplings). We ended up eating there for three consecutive days! The *har gao*, in particular, was exceptional—chewy, soft, and surprisingly juicy. Unlike the drier, prawn-only versions you usually get, these were incredibly moist and packed with flavor. Highly recommended!

Great furnishing and located right at the city center of Shantou. Facilities were not much to avail, with no refrigerator or microwaves in the hotel or even on the floor. Staff are attentive but quite young. FYI staffing hours are only until night so you will need a card to come back. Love the concept, just the facilities leave a little to be desired.

Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Yuhouse High Altitude Sea View Loft Apartment (Shantou High-Speed Railway Station Branch) mit meiner Familie. Wir reservierten insgesamt sechs Zimmer, und alle waren sauber, gut gepflegt und komfortabel. Die Einrichtungen waren ausgezeichnet, und die atemberaubende Meerblick machte unser Aufenthalt noch angenehmer. Auch wenn wir das Personal nie persönlich getroffen haben, war der Service noch ausgezeichnet. Sie reagierten schnell auf unsere Anfragen über WeChat, die den Eincheckprozess und den allgemeinen Aufenthalt reibungslos und bequem machten. Die einzige kleine Nachfrage war die Lage, die durchschnittlich in Bezug auf die Zugänglichkeit war. Allerdings hat dies unsere Gesamterfahrung nicht erheblich beeinflusst. Insgesamt haben wir unsere Reise als Familie wirklich genossen und würden diesen Ort für diejenigen, die nach einem sauberen, gut ausgestatteten und komfortablen Aufenthalt mit schöner Aussicht suchen, sehr empfehlen!

The location is close to several restaurants and shops however, the building itself is looks very old and shabby from the outside. Once you enter the room though it is very aesthetically pleasing while the all white aesthetic is hard to keep clean. The couch looked a little old and dirty when you look closely but in pictures everything looks nice. There is a great cafe and steam bun place down the street for breakfast. It is a 10 minute walk to the harbor where you can walk and relax at night or stroll in the sun during the day. It is a 10 minute drive to Zuimei Beach which was very convenient. From the bridge it is about 25 minute drive, located right in the middle of the island. In general for the price we paid I felt it was totally worth it, the staff was nice, and they helped us park for free about a 5 minute walk down the street. They had toothbrushes in the room but also had an area to get other amenities like mouth wash, hair ties, bug spray, etc. They also had water that you can help yourself to. The best part? At the end of the night they delivered a bag with milk and heated eye masks before bed. This was unexpected and very cute. Der Aufenthalt war sehr zufrieden, Wir genießen die Zimmeranlage. Lage war gut n in der Nähe von vielen Essen. Die Aussicht war ausgezeichnet

Schöne Ausstattung, moderne Infrastruktur und zeitgemäße Zimmer. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Das westliche Frühstück war eher enttäuschend und beschränkte sich auf etwas Obst, Brot und Omelett – nicht einmal Tee oder Kaffee waren vorhanden. Waschservice und Wäscheservice sind nicht verfügbar. Eine Waschmaschine steht zwar im zweiten Stock zur Selbstnutzung bereit, aber die im Angebot genannten kostenlosen Leistungen werden nicht angeboten. Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt.

Location is superb, this is a gated property with rooms on the 2nd floor and friendly store owners who invite you to have tea and friendly chats everyday, stores at street level have a myriad of snacks, drinks, tea, specialty food teams and even frozen seafood if, like me, you’re visiting relatives and need to gift them something. This entire street is a famous food street so you’re also spoilt for choice with all the regional Chinese culinary offerings. Will return! My Room, the tea-room option, I reckon, is huge !

Die Lage des Hotels ist praktisch für Essen, Einkaufen und Fortbewegung. Viele Parkplätze direkt vor dem Eingang. Es ist auch praktisch, ein Taxi zu nehmen, und eine Bushaltestelle ist ebenfalls 100 m entfernt. Die Rezeptionisten sind alle sehr gut ausgebildet, besonders gut gefällt mir der Service von 丹丹&小蔡, die uns eingecheckt haben. Sie waren sehr geduldig mit ihren Gästen, zeigten immer ein Lächeln und gaben uns auch sehr gute Tipps, wo man in der Stadt hingehen sollte, eine ausgezeichnete Einstellung für die Dienstleistungsbranche. Shantou hat uns gutes Essen und wir beschlossen, unseren Aufenthalt in der Anlage um eine weitere Nacht zu verlängern. Dort sind 小张&小林 und die anderen beiden Rezeptionisten, mit denen man sehr gut umgehen kann. Wir sind sehr froh, dieses Hotel ausgewählt zu haben :) Übrigens, die Klimaanlage im Zimmer ist leistungsstark, perfekt für dieses extrem heiße Wetter. Die Zimmermädchen waren auch sehr effizient. Daumen hoch!
