My room at Hanting Hotel was cozy and adequately furnished. The bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. However, I did notice that the room lacked proper sound insulation, as I could hear noises from the hallway and neighboring rooms. This impacted my sleep quality slightly. The cleanliness of the room was generally satisfactory, although there were a few areas that could have been better maintained. The bathroom, while functional, could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall experience. In terms of amenities, Hanting Hotel provided basic facilities such as Wi-Fi, which was reliable and allowed me to stay connected throughout my stay. However, I found the lack of a mini-fridge or a coffee/tea maker in the room to be a drawback, as it limited my convenience and comfort. One aspect that stood out during my stay was the hotel's breakfast. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, catering to both local and international palates. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with a friendly smile from the staff. Overall, Hanting Hotel offered a decent stay with its convenient location, friendly staff, and tasty breakfast. I usually take the subway wherever I go but for Changchun, since I only had a day, I chose to take Didi. It was affordable and convenient and the hotel was within easy reach from the spots I enjoyed. This property is located in an area where there are local eateries and shops so no need to worry about food and drinks. I found a local eatery next to it that served affordable yet delicious dishes and I can easily rank it as one of my favorite meals in northeastern China. Book this hostel when you're in Changchun. I paid RMB 50 for this room for a one-night stay.
