Seda Leo ist ein 5 Sterne Hotel, allerdings mit einigen Schwachstellen. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt das Hotel auf hohem Standard, allerdings zeigt sich bei genaueren Hinsehen ein Abnutzung an diversen Stellen (abgestossene Kanten an Badezimmerrahmen, abgebrochene Tischecken, verschmutzte Möbel. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut und der Strand ist grandios. Unschön sind hingegen Sandfliegen am Strand auf welche konsequent hingewiesen wird. Das Personal ist mehrheitlich freundlich, allerdings teils nicht besonders lösungsorientiert. Wer bspw. in einer Pool-Kabana etwas gesünderes Essen möchte als auf der Poolkarte angeboten, muss selbst in das daneben liegende Hotelrestaurant gehen und dort Essen, da das Personal der Poolbar streng die Poolkarte ohne Kompromisse umsetzt. Die Auswahl der angebotenen Speisen im Restaurant (Frühstück, Abendessen) ist relativ beständig und könnte mehr Varianten vertragen, Abwechslung für Gäste mit längeren Aufenthalten anzubieten. Ebenfalls ist das Personal des Front Office mehrheitlich freundlich, meist aber nicht entscheidungsbefugt. So muss ein Checkout mehrmals angefragt werden, Entscheiden darf aber nur der Supervisor bzw. Duty Manager. Trotz niedriger Belegung, gewährte diese („Devine“) nur eine Stunde, was für ein fünf Sterne Hotel und eine Familie mit Baby sehr enttäuschend ist. Die Servicequalität ist also eher tief mit Ausnahme des sehr freundlichen Restaurantpersonals (Maya, Ruel, Leanne, Jayson).

El nido, Palawan ist einer der Touristenplätze, die in den Philippinen besucht wurden. Damit hat meine Familie beschlossen, hier auf Urlaub zu gehen. Der Moment, als wir in den Flughafen Puerto Princesa angekommen waren, war es erstaunlich, sich vorzustellen, was noch mehr ist, wenn wir in El Nido ankommen. Von dort hatten wir einen runden Flughafenshuttle für eine Aufpreise, die auf Anfrage verfügbar ist. Wir haben vier Nächte im El Nido Garden Resort Hotel geblieben und hatten die beste Erfahrung. Der Ort war geräumig und unverschämt, die Mitarbeiter waren untergebracht, das Essen war erstaunlich und die Aussicht war atemberaubend. Außerhalb können Sie auch nachts einen Spaziergang und ein Schwimmbad nehmen. Sie können dort Freizeitaktivitäten machen und mit einem Getränk in der Mini-Lounge/Bar umhüllen. Ihre Lage ist sehr zugänglich für viele Strand, wenn Sie einige wie Lio und Nacpan besuchen möchten. In der Nacht können Sie auch zu Restaurants in der Umgebung kommen, aber ich versichere Ihnen die Lebensmittel in diesem Hotel genügen, um Ihre Sprache zu befriedigen. Sie sind bei 7-9 AM offen, Ihre Hunger wird sicherlich weg. Sie haben große klimatisierte Zimmer mit Flachbild-TV jedes. Jedes Zimmer hat private Balkone und Sie können sogar Ihre Dampfkleider dort hängen! Private Badezimmer haben Duschen mit Toiletten und Haartrockner gefeiert. Sie können sich dort zu Hause machen und entspannen während einige Zeit aus.

Wir waren 5 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Hatten eine Pool Villa gebucht. Diese liegen ganz hinten und ein langer Weg zum Restaurant. Es waren sehr viele Stufen zu dieser Villa Pool und auch ein Baden war nicht möglich da der Strand voller Steine war. Auf der Terrasse war kein Meer zu sehen, weil alles mit Pflanzen bewachsen ist. Das Hotel hat auch ein Affen Problem. Es liegen im Zimmer Anweisung vor, wie man sich zu verhalten hat in Bezug auf Affen. Daher kann man auch nicht die Wellen rauschen hören, weil man alles verschlossen halten muss. Sogar die Terrassentüre ist extra zu verschliessen da die Affen so intelligent sind und private Dinge von der Villa dann mitnehmen. Es darf nichts auf der Terrasse liegen gelassen werden, weil sonst die Affen es wegnehmen. Wir fühlten uns wie im Gefängnis. Alles verschlossen, nasse Badensachen immer in der Villa trocken etc. Wir hatten leider auch Bettwanzen. An den leer stehenden Villa stehen Matratzen auf der Terrrasse welche schwarz vom Kot der Bettwanzen sind. Wir waren an Hals, Schulter und Füsse gebissen worden. Das juckt extrem stark. Da wir im medizinischen Bereich sind, hatten wir dementsprechende Medikamente mit, was aber leider nicht reichte. Der Strand wird nicht gereinigt. Es liegen viele Holzteile herum. Holzteile vom Hotel welche wegfliegen.

Fantastisch! Schönes, sauberes Pool und Strandbereich. Das Frühstück war gut mit viel Auswahl. Der Shuttle vom Flughafen war sehr einfach und das Personal war freundlich.

Es ist keine gute Idee, alleine zu reisen. Da Sie zunächst eine Anzahlung leisten und daraus die notwendigen Kosten decken, müssen Sie während Ihres Aufenthaltes nichts bezahlen. Außerdem können Sie mit den im Hotelpaket enthaltenen Aktivitäten in der Regel zufrieden sein, sodass dies nicht erforderlich ist reservieren. Man kann die Welt wirklich vergessen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Transport bis zu drei Tage im Voraus und die Aktivitäten bis zum Vortag gebucht werden müssen. Es scheint, dass die Meerespflanzen und -tiere am Strand vor dem Hotel sorgfältig geschützt und gepflegt werden, und es gibt Anzeichen einer Regeneration. Auch jetzt gibt es in dieser schmalen Bucht, die man vom Strand aus sehen kann, verschiedene Pflanzen und Tiere Pier und ist ein großartiger Ort zum Schnorcheln oder Tauchen. Es macht sehr viel Spaß. Die Klimaanlage ist so komfortabel, dass man fast vergisst, dass man sich auf den Philippinen befindet. Es gibt auch heißes Wasser im Badezimmer. Vor allem die Mitarbeiter sind sehr fleißig und ich würde gerne hören, welche Mitarbeiterschulungen sie durchführen. Auch die Aktivitäten sind sehr interessant. Die Mahlzeiten wechseln täglich. Ich finde es köstlich für die Philippinen. (Im Allgemeinen ist das Essen bei thailändisch-vietnamesischem Essen besser. Ich habe die Zutaten, warum also nicht?) Ich wollte mir die Bratpfanne zurückholen und das Omelett selbst machen. Wenn ich dir das Rezept für den Nachtisch gebe, machst du es für mich? )G Das Einzige ist, dass das Abwassersystem schwach ist und es im Duschraum nach Ammoniak riecht. Dies ist ein häufiges Problem auf den Philippinen und kann ein grundlegendes Problem mit dem Rohrleitungssystem oder der Bautechnik sein.

Das Hotel liegt nur nördlich der Hauptstadt und dem Bootsabfahrtsstrand. Komplimentar 24-hour tuktuk Service, aber nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war schön und A/C funktionierte gut. Bett und Kissen waren ein wenig Firma, aber vernünftig komfortable. Dieses Frühstück ist gut. Das Resort ist in 3 Teile aufgeteilt. Cadlao 1, 2 und 3.1 ist am Eingang, 2 ist der nächste, und 3 ist die weitest entfernte (aber nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß). 3 ist auch die geschlossenste, was es vielleicht etwas ruhiger machen kann. Die J Benito Tour-Agentur ist direkt vom Eingang entfernt, wenn Sie Touren planen möchten.

The resort is located on the side of a steep hill and as such they use their own vehicles to get you around the resort and into town. There is a free transfer service to the town during the day and some packages include free airport transfers. Unusually there is not a central reception area. Check in is performed by one of the butlers in your room. We had Neil and Jude who were both excellent. They create a WhatsApp group to share information, provide contact and arrange tours etc. The hotel had its own tour packages which visit a private beach and a private area of Cadlao lagoon. The trips were of good quality and lunch at Cadlao was excellent. The facilities at the private beach were in need of some repair - they are planning to create a resort there but for the moment the lounge and pool area are not really usable. The beach itself however was very nice. We had two rooms during our stay due to availability - one luxury villa and one seaside villa. Both were very comfortable and spacious. The seaside villa had a spectacular view over the bay There are two restaurants on site. One of these, Henris, is located at the top of the hill and has lovely views. There is a small swimming pool with views over the bay. Breakfast is served in the lower restaurant next to the pool and offers a variety of hot and cold options. Overall we have a fantastic stay however the resort is in need of some maintenance. Likely the climate provides a challenge in this aspect but there were lots of scratches, scuffs and some unsteady footings into the villas. The staff however were all really friendly and provided good service throughout.

Here is the bad story of our ElNido Trip with scam of Orange Pearl at Vanilla Beach. We did not stay there it is just the story of booking with them the Island Hopping. In the afternoon yesterday someone at the counter next to the Orange Pearls asked me about making Island Tour. We talked about it and i asked if there is tours starting by boat from Vanilla Beach as i have seen boats over there. He said yes. I asked which tour it is. He said you can choose A-B-C-D. I asked if he is sure - yes. I said i will come back later to make everything clear. His English was not so well and i was not sure. So in the evening i came with my friends. There was a woman at the reception of the Orange Pearl for booking the tours. I asked the same like before. If there is a boat tour starting directly from Vanilla Beach. Yes she said and asked which tour we want. I asked again if she is sure that it is starting here. Also she said yes and we should come at 8 am. We than asked why so early as tours start normally later. She said no we need to come at 8 am, and she writes it on the receipt. I than told her, that we do not get breakfast at that early time where we are staying and if it’s possible to get breakfast at the Orange Pearl for us as we don’t stay there. Yes she said we can come. In the morning before 8am we where there. They than told us breakfast is only for their guests. Than after waiting a bit someone came and told us that they will go with us to the McDonald’s where the meeting point for the Van to ElNido is. I was shocked and asked if we are booked wrong? They told us we have booked the shared tour and pick up time is around 9-9:30. So by that time it was clear that they where lying on us the day before and just wanted us booking the tour with them. Also in the morning no breakfast, hearing that we again have to go to ElNido and than hearing that meeting time is 9am, was unbelievable for me. The so called supervisor woman was ignoring us and hiding. There was no apologise nothing, they let us just sit there for 1 hour and not talking to us. I never get treated like that as i am normally a relaxed person. The end was, that after our tour we had to pay 2 trycicles back to the Vanilla Neach. Cause the van back was not included for us, just for some other people. Also this they did not told us. This is really bad management and respectless behaviour. I tried to speak with the supervisor but she just looked at me saying nothing. Just to be clear. It is totally ok when they have told us everything the day before. But they where lying to us, not talking when we arrived in the morning and they could have been easily nice and deescalating maybe giving us for that hassle a free breakfast. But just ignoring us feels like a scam and was such a bad experience for us. And than after the day again the problem with having to pay to go back.

Der Aufenthalt in dem Hotel war ausgezeichnet. Meine Frau und ich haben die Tage sehr genossen. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und abwechselnd. Auch das Essen von der Speisekarte ist ausgezeichnet. Jeden Mittwoch und Freitag gab es ein mongolisches Buffet. Ich kann das Hotel nur jedem empfehlen.

I have picked resort for its location and for experience to stay at the beach hut. And it was truly amazing time chilling on your veranda’s comfy chair surrounded by palm trees and the sound of crashing waves. As for the overall experience, the resort is definitely not a 5* star resort. Amenities are pretty basic, over-washed beach towels, cheap cutlery, unexciting breakfast, the core infrastructure a bit rundown down, food is average and overpriced. Staff is friendly and ready to attend to every need of yours, but are the some time not there when you need them. Had stayed at lagoon hut #14 and had a constant traffic of passing stuff or guests. So not so much privacy as you would think. Caution. Only lagoon huts facing the beach (first row) get to use the beach sun loungers. The rest of the guests need ti use swimming pool lounges.
