This year we decided to come back to Sozopol, to a different hotel, that is closer to the old town. Location it is perfect. 10 min walking to the old town. We have walked on the street that is back of the hotel. Here on the left and right side there a lot of restaurants to chose from. Each day we eat in a different place. The food was good, fresh. The hotel has few parking spots and we were lucky to find one, for 10 BGN/day. After a long trip from home we entered into the lobby of the hotel, that was spotless and smelled very nice. We were given the key to our apartment pretty fast. It was at first floor, a superior apartment. The apartment consists in a living room divided in 2- a place for eating and a place for sleeping and a bedroom. There are 2 separate bathrooms, identical- with bath tub. We had 3 balconies. The down side was the fact that the room had a street view, that sometimes got busy during night time. We also had our apartment near the ventilation system that had a constant buzzing. It is a central air-conditioning, but it is working very well. But dispite all that we managed to have a good night sleep. The apartment is very big, with a lot of storage places. The sofa is not very high - it seems like you are sleeping on the ground. In the kitchen there are only 4 glasses and a stove. Nothing else. We brought our own plates and cutlery. The fridge is medium size and very powerful. It is true the room needs an update- the furniture is quite old, but still functional. But these are some details that did not change the way we felt during our holiday. There is a table with 4 chairs. Cleaning of the common areas was done thoroughly every day. I can not say the same thing about cleaning the room. It was cleaned every day, but not as they did with the lobby for instance. There were not the same smell. The towels were changed when we wanted to. Breakfast was pretty good- fried/boiled eggs, omelet, sausages, cheese, patisseries, fruits, cereals, tea, coffee. We chose to eat outside. It was very nice in the morning. Pool - was good size, it did not a lot of chlorine, like the other pools. We used it couple of time because the sea was rough and had sea****s. The water was very warm. Of course the weather was hot. The beech behind the hotel was Harmani beach it is a wide sandy beach, with commodities sunbeds and umbrella. Unfortunately it was rough and I did not like it at all. The sea is quite deep starting from the shore. We decided to go on Central beach in Sozopol, that was a little better, but again a lot of sea****s. Eventually we went to Duni where the sea was crystal clear, calm and perfect for swimming. On every beach there is a safeguard. On my last day the sea on Harmani beach was perfect for swimming, to. We went on the beach to watch the sun rising. I think that it depends on the weather. If it is windy you can always go to Duni and have a perfect sea. I appreciate very much the fact that the hotel replied to my emails
