Fengeros Village

Wir hatten ein 2-Zimmer-Appartement, viel Platz, jeden Tag frische Handtücher und gemachtes Bett, eigentlich alles, was wir brauchten. Gute Lage mitten zwischen der Stadt und den südlichen Stränden mit dem Bus :)

Superb and faultless. Very friendly, clean and a beautiful setting. Stamos, Gorgeous George & Alexandra were perfect hosts. Highly recommended. Great location near town too. Yes there’s a hill but you don’t get those views without it. Fantastic holiday.

Stayed here for a week in August, hill and steps were a challenge, but the views were amazing and deffently worth the climb, rooms were very clean and fresh towels and bedding every other day,the hotel had a typical village feel to it and everyone always said good morning etc. We asked for directions to beach ,town etc and george was happy to explain the directions to us,we visited the beach most days.this was a very emotional time for myself and my daughter as I had originally booked to visit with my husband ,who unfortunately passed away a few weeks before we were due to travel, but never having visited skiathos before I know he would of loved the fantastic views from this lovely hotel and he would deffently have visited again .

Have just arrived home following a truly amazing week with my teenagers at Fengeros Village. If you've read the description, you will know there is a 'hill'. Being a woman of a certain age and not the fittest, I coped with it absolutely fine. It isn't as long or as steep as I'd envisaged having read some of the reviews. So do not let that stop you if you haven't booked, the views really are worth it and there were guests of all ages, fitness and physiques managing it absolutely fine in over 30 degree heat. There were also countless repeat visitors so that in itself, says it all surely!!! Accommodation was spot on, the welcome and service you won't get anywhere else and I've travelled a fair bit. If you want genuine service from a family that will go out of their way to help, fabulous food, devine cocktails, clean accommodation, relaxed atmosphere and a great pool to cool off - then do not hesitate and book. Literally within minutes you have the beach, supermarkets, a quad/bike/car hire, a walk to the bus stop which will take you to countless other fabulous beaches and hidden gems not to mention the Town and Port. Thank you Stamos & family for your hospitality, it was an unforgettable break and I shall be seeing you again, Nia.

Just back from another excellent week staying at fengeros village , our second time there having gone last year also . We absolutely love it here and cannot praise the friendliness and hospitality of George , stamos and Alexandra highly enough , also Alexandra and her dad cook a mean full English ! We will no doubt go back again at some point and the sooner that is the better for me . Don’t be put off by the hill you may read about . It’s easy and more than worth it considering the views at the top .

We stayed for 2weeks at Fengeros Village, firstly for a 2*, the accommodation is basic but clean and the cooking facilities are good if you want them. We only made breakfast but everything was new and clean and well equipped. The maids also did a great job cleaning our apartment. The view from our room was lovely, another positive. The first day we tried the pool was on day 4 of our holiday, as we hire a quad and go out most of the time, but the pool was packed with no sunbeds available so we sat for the morning on chairs! We gave up and went to the beach in the afternoon as no beds became available. Around day 7 we tried the pool again, so only our 2nd time. That very morning signs had gone up to say if you aren’t using beds we’ll move your towel (something we agree with as we had sat on chairs when people weren’t using beds). What happened next was VERY disappointing. We put our towels down, and decided soon after to go for a coffee and fruit in our room, when we got back our towels had been moved and were on the wall! They saw we weren’t very happy and when my husband said we’d only gone for a short time to have breakfast in our room and had only been around half an hour, the woman snapped, you were 40 minutes! We couldn’t believe her rude response, this was the first time we got beds In 7 days and they counted our minutes away-all 40 of them! We certainly were not hogging beds. I have to add, why do they need to move towels peoples when there are other free beds, which there were that morning! It happened to another gentleman, who was also annoyed. Things to think about, there were 70 steps to our room(yes you tend to count them in the heat!) this was after a step hill up. Also the staff are not friendly at all, we found them to be moody and rude. After the 2nd time at the pool we didn’t go back again as we felt most unwelcome. I believe they took a dislike to us as we were out on the quad most days not spending money there. You will also need to bear in mind you have to carry your luggage up to your room, there’s no help. I don’t want to put people off but this is not a welcoming place unless you spend lots of time and money at the pool bar, which isn’t a holiday to us. This is an honest reflection of what happened to us. If you go to skiathos, get out and about, so much to see on this beautiful island!

Cute village. Swimming pool area is cute and relaxing. Bus stop is nearby. the Village is on the hill so has good view but need to walk up all the way and many stairs. in the case ur knee is not strong, check the room location in advance with to hotel. During the stay, hot water was not stable nor controllable so I and my friend both got scald bc very hot water comes out all of sudden almost every 2mins. It was repeating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was our first time to Skiathos, and we had such an amazing time at Fengeros. It is a decent climb to the apartments but absolutely worth it for the fantastic views. Stamos was so friendly, funny and kind. He would sort any issues out immediately. He also makes a great margarita. Alexandra was friendly and hardworking and her Greek salads were the best. George was up every morning at 4 sorting the pool out. He was funny and interesting. The rooms were spotless and cleaned most days. Would highly recommend.

We are elated having found this little gem of a place to stay. Fengeros Village ticks every box- lovely , friendly, family run apartments with views to die for. Yes there’s a few steps but it’s not an issue at all (sadly some people like to make it an issue). The cleanliness of Fengeros is outstanding. Everywhere is spotless. Rooms are cleaned almost every day !!!!! Something we never expected but a nice change to what we’ve not had in the past (from other hotels . ). The cleaners are fabulous, also very friendly and so efficient. What stands out from our stay here are the owners/family. Alexandra is the sweetest of people with a caring sense whose aim is to make you happy. George - what a knowledgeable, friendly man you are. Finally Stamos… you excelled with your kind , help and support in finding us alternative accommodation during the issue with the IT global problem. Even taking us in your car to the hotel you arranged. Thank you all once again for everything ❤️
