Kids will have fun here! Just maybe if entrance to beach can be made accesable to guest as we have to take a long walk to go to the beach.everything else is perfect. Clean beach i must say,and safe. Just dine at downstairs cafe its not pricey at all and the food delish. Plus point if hotel could provide complete amenities like tooth brush and shower cap.

CONS
This is an aging hotel and the maintenance can`t catch up as the years progresses. Our first night was terrible when we found out that the bed is full of bed bugs. The next morning they apologised for the issue and we were transferred to a new room. There always old marks & old stains on the bedsheet, blankets, toilets, walls but might be acceptable for some. No phone in the room, you have to call using your own phone if you want to reach the front counter. Breakfast 2.5/5. Again cleanliness is the issue, bowls, plates, you will find some particles in them. And the food is just average and cold.
OVERALL : Just ok, below my expectation.
WILL I RETURN? : Maybe no

The location is great and very quiet. There is also a stream running beside the property, helps a lot with sleeping at night as a white noise. You can even book a tour to Rainbow Forest with the hotel, which I definitely recommend this tour. The only issue we had is there is no hot water for showering, even after turning on the tap for like 5+ mins.

KKrisnasecond stay at this hotel. it is a basic hotel. pool experience definitely can be better but i understand that this is not a resort.
all basic needs are covered - internet, AC, room amenities, parking. no complains here. We found trail of ants in the toilet and hope they got sorted soon.
room key has problems a few times, not sure why. was told cos of the phone magnet.

MMuhammad EimaduddinI called one day earlier to request early checkup. It was entertained however due to system breakdown still required to wait almost one hour in the car. To their credit they still did their best.
According to the Trip package I was supposed get welcome drink but it was not there.
The nasi lemak rendang so good but the breakfast spread so limited. The renovation thingy quite a disturbance, need to walk all the way to access beach, no Deli yet, lobby not ready too. However they already informed that in advance so it was acceptable.
During housekeeping, our room key that was used to power up the room was taken, but the concierge sent a new one once the complaint lodged. They also restock only one bottle of mineral water instead of two, but the housekeeper comply with our request for another without much hassle.
I did not have enough time to try their fitness centre but one visit showed it was wide and adequate. I hope in the future it will be for 24 hours like other hotel and accessible with keycard.
All in all I will give 4 stars. Need to improve on breakfast spread. Special shoutout for Mr Kamarul our concierge/porter for excellent service. Will come again later.

DDarrenReasonable price for the location, cleanliness and size of the room. Room and toilet generally clean, but Bed sheet had stains at some parts, but not smelly so should be fine. There are ants roaming about, so be careful not too drop any food or you'll be sleeping with them at night. Shower has good pressure also, but water may not be as hot as some would like even when turning on the heater for a while
Arrived the hotel at around 6am and the staff was sitting away from the reception, so wasn't sure if I could drop off my baggage yet. Finally decuded to store by baggage at 7am when they turned on the lights.
Location is probably the best part, with walkable distance to the river promenade, mosque and food options around. Kuantan 188 tower is also a stones throw away, but didn't go up this time.
Also note that the RM 3 deposit is not true, at least for Singapore and. On top of that had to fork out another RM10 for tourist tax, so RM13 extra in total. Quite disappointed that these terms were not stated during booking.
TLDR, Quite a cheap and good place to stay in kuantan for a night or two, although the extra costs have to be made clearer when booking

The staff were friendly and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and efficient. The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. However, I was a bit disappointed as the room didn’t have a window, which made it feel a little enclosed. Despite this, the private parking facilities and overall service made up for it. It’s still a great choice for anyone visiting Kuantan, whether for business or leisure, offering good value for money.

Every member of the team, from the buggy driver to housekeeping and the receptionist, was exceptionally friendly. The views and scenery are stunning, providing a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. We booked the Ocean View Suite, and the room exceeded all expectations—elegant, breathtaking, and beyond words. Our 3-day, 2-night stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

However, the pillowcase was old and had started to pill, creating small fabric balls that made it feel rough and unpleasant and an unpleasant smell, which was disappointing. Other than that, everything else was fine. Would consider staying again if housekeeping improves.

- altes Schulzimmer. 400 mehr gestern sind es nicht wert. Glatter, dampfender Fliesenboden. Zimmer staubig und von Mücken 👎🏻
- Das Zimmer im Obergeschoss ist laut, das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss kann das Zittern hören und spüren, ja😌
