Really centrally located. The owners are super friendly and helpful, speak English. The rooms are very basic but clean. Not a lot of room to open your bags or spread out but we weren’t there long so no need. Beautiful courtyard to hang out in and upper deck patio. Very nice.

服務很熱情，但是房間真的老舊，而且很小，連桌子都沒有，不建議住selcuk，直接去看了以弗所回伊茲密爾即可。

房間設施和拖鞋等備品最多是中低檔旅館的水平，房間連瓶裝飲用水都不提供，衞生很一般，沒有電梯，入住是最好降低期待。優點是位置還行，停車方便。總之性價比不高，不太推薦。

Tive uma excelente experiência, o pessoal é muito simpático e solícito. O quarto que fiquei tinha uma boa cama, um bom chuveiro, era limpo, confortável e silencioso. Tudo que eu precisava!

Excelente el lugar! Cumplió con nuestras expectativas y el encargo del hotel fenomenal 100% dispuesto ayudar al turista. Nos guardaron las maletas cuando llegamos hacer el check in con la Mejor actitud, al hacer el checked out también, nos dieron dulces y adicional nos facilitó una tarjeta para el transporte. Lo amamos y que chévere encontrar personas así en los viajes . Adicional estaba divino ! JajajJ

Friendly, helpful and attentive. Nice city with genuine warm people. Shopping here was easy. So much history we are so glad we came and stayed with Harry and his family. In town the museum, castle and the remains of St John’s Basilica. Ephesus ruins and Mother Mary house very special and significant. So glad to see these places. The free breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks.

Comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We used this as a basis to explore the lovely Old Town of Selçuk and of course Ephesus. The owner, Harry, was fantastic and full of local knowledge. His son made huge, wholesome breakfasts, complete with Vegemite for Aussies, and was very sweet and hospitable. Unfortunately, the guests in the adjoining room were very loud and the walls were paper thin. Harry’s wife will do your laundry, but it’s not cheap. Harry has a side business selling Turkish rugs. Couldn’t resist a couple of them. Overall a very pleasant stay.

It is a bit late, but I stayed at the hostel in 2017 for a few days. I will never forget how helpful and kind the owner was. I was bedridden due to a massive pain in my knee after a visit to the ruins of Efesus and the owner was extremely helpful, giving me some of his homemade healing lotion to try to soothe the pain. When I left he kindly gave me a lift to the bus station (because I still had trouble walking) and arranged for my bags to be delivered there. The least I can do to repay him his kindness is to write a good review here and I can positively recommend this hostel to anyone. His kindness stays forever with me and I wish him and the guesthouse all the best in the future. I would love to visit again someday.

Delightful place - very authentic, friendly and very good value - especially the wholesome breakfast. Harry is a mine of information and help with a nice sideline in affordable turkish rugs! We had a fabulous time even though we were one of the few guests at this time of year. Book early as the rest of the year it will be packed out!

I stayed for 3 nights this week and just want to state all the acclaim given in the 5 star reviews is true. I am a solo female from the Midwest in the USA beyond a certain age. I did not want to leave. This was my first stop on my first tour to Turkey. Not speaking a word of Turkish-- not even please or thank you --I was still treated so well and felt so very comfortable in this very beautiful facility. I loved Selcuk and chose this location to visit Ephesus which was easy and economical--I was so grateful I could do so without joining one of the huge tour groups (while I would not discourage anyone from seeing the huge Ephesus site--if time is limited I would skip Ephesus). Take in in Selcuk; spend time in the museum; try the different restaurants and certainly walk up to the top but most of all enjoy Anz Guesthouse, its people and the walks around it. I will forever be grateful to Harry and his son Atti (from the other reviews, I have not done well with either of their names-sorry). They booked a sleeper for me to Konya that I was unable to do myself as well as a hotel that I could not reach.. while they are not a tourist agency they have absolutely given me every reason to love the Anz Guesthouse ...

one of the best spot to rest in selcuk, just 10 minutes from efes museum. The owner and his two sons are wonderful and kind, always available in c see you need (suggestions about restaurants, tourist guide and so on). Fantastic breakfast served on the terrace!

Stayed several days in this delightful guesthouse , owned by Harry , his wife Berna and their 2 sons , plus Mowgli the dog . Huge roof terrace, very chill atmosphere and a great breakfast , vegemite on request . Harry is a very thoughtful host . Clean rooms , hot water and Stunning sunsets .

Had a really good experience staying here. Enjoyed a fabulous breakfast, it is in a fantastic location, walking distance to the bus station. Also close to some good restaurants, one we particularly enjoyed on Harry’s recommendation. Harry the owner is a funny, hardworking, good natured guy. Any questions he will gladly answer

You can't beat ANZ for the value and location. This guesthouse is in the heart of Selcuk. It is simple, yet very clean with local charm. Harry and his sons are absolutely fantastic! The kindest people that look after you like family. We loved our stay in Selcuk and enjoyed exploring Ephesus.
