Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, tolles Ambiente, angenehme, sehr schöne und ruhige Gegend. Tolles Frühstück, wurde alles persönlich serviert. Die Zimmer waren sehr ansprechend eingerichtet und haben wahrlich zum Wohlfühlen eingeladen. Sehr schöner Pool, Whirl Pool mit toller Aussicht.

Perfect location, top service.Bart and Christophe are really nice and kind hosts .The rooms are spacious ,comfortable and is furnished very tastefully .The breakfast is very good with regional tastes.If you have the chance, it is a must to taste Bart's tasty dinner table/ menu.We really enjoyed our stay.

It was once again a fantastic experience. From the reception until our departure, we were well pampered by our hosts. Nothing was too much for them. There was good WiFi reception everywhere, which sometimes leaves much to be desired in France in many places. We also enjoyed the cooking skills of chef Bart on a culinary level. The wines we were served with dinner were also very tasty wines that matched the dishes. There is also a lot to experience in terms of tourism in the area around Fontanes/Cahors (picturesque villages, visits to wine estates...), something for everyone. Swimming pool, yacuzzi and infrared cabin are also a plus. In short: We enjoyed our stay in a pleasant setting that encourages relaxation.

Pretty, quiet, clean. A warm welcome from Bert and Christophe. An amazing bed and breakfast. Quality breakfast and delicious. The room we had was large with a dressing well lighted and a beautiful and large bathroom. The renovation has been done with quality product and style: it respects the original stones and wood structure while bringing it up to today's standards. Jaccuzzi, pool, sauna: eveything is there so you can rest and relax. Coffee and tea at disposition all day. And a few candies!

We have come here for many years,preferably the last week of the year. Christophe and Bart make sure everything is impeccable. The dinners are just a sensationel experience with lots of local products.This is by far the best chambre d'hotes you can imagine.

Beautifully restaurated old farm in the green hills south of Cahors. With its nice pool and cosy garden, L'Ilse Basse is the perfect place to relax. Bart and Christophe are friendly and helpful hosts. Great breakfast. As for diner, there are plenty of good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Bart and Christophe regularly serve dinner in-house (I had one during my stay, and it was excellent). For those who like a swim in the river: in Saint-Cirq Lapopie, 30 minutes driving from L'Ilse Basse, you can swim in the river Lot. There is a 'beach' (in fact a green field next to the river).

Le séjour a été parfait, le Domaine est magnifique, grand confort de la chambre, accueil chaleureux, grande qualité des repas et petits déjeuners. Le Domaine est bien situé pour les visites. Les propriétaires sont des hôtes très attentionnés tout en étant discrets. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Nous recommandons vivement le Domaine de L'Isle Basse.

Retour 9 ans après notre première visite pour renouveler la dégustation d’un dîner aux truffes. Quel bonheur de constater que la qualité culinaire, le service, le confort et l’accueil sont toujours très présents voire meilleurs. Le Domaine de L’Isle Basse est une étape incontournable, le cadre est merveilleux, les propriétaires sont attentionnés et d’une gentillesse très touchante.
