Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und tüchtig. Das Hotelzimmer war neu renoviert jedoch mängelte es an diversen Stellen. Das Fenster welches in der Dusche von Schimmel befallen war, liess sich nicht mehr richtig öffnen, was den Geruch etwas verstärkte. Bei den meisten Hotelzimmern gab es unter der Türe einen grossen Spalt. Es war sehr hellhörig. Anstonsten preiswert und gut gelegen.

Sehr schönes Boutique Hotel im Herzen von Viseu. Gute Lage zum Stadtpark und Rstaurents und Bars. Sehr freundliches Personal. Grosse Zimmer mit allem Komfort inklusive grosszügies Badezimmer. Das Zimmer war im 3. Stock und sehr ruhig und sauber.

Zimmer ausreichend groß, auch das Bad. Alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstück hat alles geboten, was man sich wünscht. Parken war umsonst, da Wochenende und Feiertag, ansonsten könnte es schwierig werden. Gleich neben dem Hotel gibt es einen Supermarkt. Das Personal war ok, aber nicht auffallend freundlich. Von der Lage her eigentlich ok, da man die Altstadt mit vielen Restaurants gut erreichen kann.

Hotel Avenida is a 4-star boutique hotel right on the Praca da Republica in the center of Viseu. The hotel staff was warm welcoming and helpful (happily taking our bags in the morning before check in so we could explore the city). English and some other languages are spoken if needed. The room was delighful; spotlessly clean and enormous (although I must note that we did get a deluxe double). The bed was clean and comfortable (if a bit on the firm side). The bathroom had a fantastic shower and a new modern tub big enough for a swim (ok, maybe not, but still very big!). In spite of being right in the center of town, the room was quiet and the electric shades worked perfectly. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, especially the fruit and pastries. The hot food selection was a bit sparse, but the selection was hot and kept stocked. We highly recommend this hotel fo visitors to Viseu.

My husband and I had a fantastic one night stay here. The suite was spacious and clean. The AC worked perfectly. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. I didn’t have any breakfast. My husband grabbed some grab etc, I think pretty standard but satisfied the need. Would highly recommend.

I spent four nights here and it was very comfortable. The people on reception were very friendly and helpful. My room was enormous! There was a good sized, comfortable double bed, a desk with a stool, plenty of wardrobe space and also an enormous bathroom. It took me a while to work out the bathroom had a door, it was one of those that slides, but I was in the room on my own, so not really an issue. The breakfasts at the hotel were nice, with the normal sort of breakfast items you find on the continent, but no cold milk for English people to put in their tea, or on their cereal, which was a bit weird. There is no bar area for sitting in the evenings, but there was a sort of lounge on floor 2 with sofas, where we spent one evening, and brought our own drinks from the shop next door. It is within easy reach of the old town though this is up a hill from the hotel.
