The room location is great. Couple of restaurants very close at the top of the hill and great little streets to wander. Also neat and tidy and well laid out. However, the property manager and the host like to play loose with the truth when asked about amenities listed on the travel sites, and are disingenuous about what there actually is on offer at the property. This is NOT a hotel - it is 3 ‘AirBNB’ apartments - and very few of the ‘facilities’ are on-site - the host and property manager simply tell you where on Santorini you can get things done. (“Oh, you thought the hotel had a spa? No, but there are facilities nearby you can use”) Amenities including: Spa: Facial treatments, waxing services, makeup services etc Or Dry Cleaning, Manicure, Body Treatments, Laundry, Canoeing, Room Service Or Fishing, Canoeing, Hiking, Diving, Horseback Riding are indeed available on SANTORINI - but NOT amenities of the apartment. “Oh, no, these are not at the property, but we can organise any of these features if you would like” Also, questions answered by the hotel say: There is a sunset view from the Premium Room. There is most definitely not. None of the photos of the sunset are from the Premium Room. The photo from the Premium Room is a carefully crafted photo showing a tiny bit of sea in the distance (south facing and not west for the sunset)through the courtyard entry door - which when closed (all the time one is in the property) has zero view at all. A Private Beach 7km away is mentioned as available to guests. This “Private Beach” is not Private with a capital P - it is a PUBLIC beach - it simply is secluded and some privacy (with a little p) can be found. We asked for laundry and we’re pointed to a laundromat in Kamari. Again, the room and location is very nice. But the way it is pitched is not genuine.

Il posto è carino, molto pulito, davvero confortevole, situato in una posizione ideale per raggiungere in poco tempo qualunque parte dell'isola, e a ridosso dell'incantevole centro storico di Pyrgos. Abbiamo sperimentato l'autentica ospitalità greca: sia i titolari che Maria, addetta alla reception, si sono prodigati per rendere il nostro soggiorno piacevolmente perfetto: check-in in presenza all'una di notte, colazione secondo i nostri gusti, consigli su dove andare, cosa vedere e dove cenare, prenotazione dell'escursione in catamarano; dulcis in fundo, la possibilità di tenere la camera fino alla sera, il giorno della partenza, in modo da poterci fare una doccia e lasciare le valigie al sicuro. Consigliatissimo!!

Dieses schöne Hotel liegt nur wenige hundert Meter vom Hauptplatz in Pyrgos entfernt, das eine viel ruhigere und weniger touristische Erfahrung als die meisten anderen Orte auf der Insel ist. Unser Zimmer war im Wesentlichen eine Suite mit zwei Zimmern, die über ein offenes Portal mit einem Sofa und kleiner Küche in einem verbunden waren. Das Schlafzimmer war groß mit einem komfortablen Bett, und der Platz war bei der Ankunft sauber. Es gab eine Mix-up mit unserem Zimmer, als wir früh da waren, aber das wurde sehr schnell gelöst. Die Besitzer schickten uns eine Liste von Ideen für unseren Aufenthalt über WhatsApp, die sehr schön war. Auch hier gibt es schöne Außenbereiche, die wir nicht verwendet haben, weil es entweder heiß oder wir waren aus der Exploration. Parken kann schwierig in der Stadt sein, aber wir haben oft einen Platz im Lot neben der Tür oder unten einer nahe gelegenen Straße gefunden. Wir würden sicher hier wieder bleiben.

We have just returned from Santorini and stayed at the stunning Elessa Hotel. It was absolutely perfect! The views were out of this world, the whole hotel was spotlessly clean, our room had its own jacuzzi and everything was thought of and was high quality. We normally had the infinity pool to ourselves! The breakfasts were excellent and we ate in the restaurant twice in the evening which again was perfect! Dimitrias made the perfect pina colada! The village of Pyrgos was a great find as it was quiet but had lovely bars, restaurants and cobbled streets leading up to the beautiful church where you could see the sunset - it also had a reliable bus service so you could venture out. We will definitely return.

Zannos ist ein altes Hotel auf dem (Ich denke)höchsten Teil von Santorini. Wir liebten unseren Aufenthalt. Kristofer, der Manager war so hilfsbereit, freundlich und bereit, zu bedienen. Die Mitarbeiter waren auch sehr nett, freundlich und bereit, jeden Wunsch, den wir vor allem hinsichtlich des Frühstücks hatten zu erfüllen. Es gibt Dinge, die verbessert werden müssen, aber ich bin sicher, dass sie werden, wenn die echte Sommersaison startet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen wunderschönen Blick, einen schönen Außenpool und mehrere Jacuzzis. Zimmer sind nach Tagengehung in den Straßen von Caldera oder Oia perfekt erfrischend und wir konnten kaum warten, bis wir wieder in unsere Zimmer kommen. Unser Aufenthalt war wunderbar, wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im und außerhalb des Hotels und Wenn Sie nicht so gemütlich sind, empfehle ich dieses Hotel voll und ganz. Nicht teuer und sehr gut. Zumindest brauchen wir freundliche Gesichter, saubere Zimmer, gutes Frühstück, und in diesem Hotel sind alle drei Elemente vorhanden. Eine Anmerkung: diejenigen, die Probleme mit dem Spaziergang oder dem Aufstieg haben, gibt es keinen Bus oder Auto, der Sie zum Hotel fahren. Aber Sie können immer auf dem Weg nach oben auf den Cafés aufhören und sich ausruhen. Ja, es gibt auch einen kleinen Souvlaki-Shop in der Nähe des Hotels, so können Sie dort auch aufhören, ein Souvlaki essen, ein Mythos Bier haben, sich ausruhen und weiter für zwei weitere Minuten steigen. Insgesamt wären wir in unserem Hotel für 4/5 Minuten. Diese Anmerkung ist nur für diejenigen, die Schwierigkeiten beim Spaziergang oder beim Aufstieg haben. Genießen Sie Santorini und Zannos, wenn Sie hier bleiben wählen.

In September 2023, my husband and I arrived at The Art Hotel and whilst reception had closed at 9pm, there was a telephone number on the door which our driver Terry called and Fragkiskos arrived within 5 mintues. Check-in Fragkiskos is absolutely amazing. He checked us in and told us all the places he would recommend to visit and things do whilst staying in Santorini. We even walked with him that same night to a restaurant to get some food. Vaso, who also worked on reception, was nice. Both are very professional, courteous and helpful at all times. Room We stayed in the Blissful suite, it is a very big suite with 2 bedrooms each with TV and built in wardrobes, 1 bathroom with a double shower and two sinks and a huge living room area, again with a TV. All rooms had AC and 1 of the rooms has a safe - See photos attached. Bathroom The bathroom has towels, flannels, shower gel, hand wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, cotton wool, cotton buds and a nail file. The only thing missing for me were some robes as this is one thing we never take on holiday but usually they have in our hotel room. Breakfast Breakfast is served to your balcony every morning. I never got the gentlemans name, but he greets you with the warmest smile and was ever so polite. You select what you want from a list of cooked and cold foods of good variety and if you want to amend it for the next morning you just make sure you do it before 9pm which is when reception closes. Beach There is no beach within walking distance. You will have to take a taxi to the nearest beach, which I was told is approximately 10-15 min by taxi. Pool There is a pool that's not very big, however it is adequate for the size of the hotel. The hotel has 10 rooms. Wifi There is Wifi throughout the hotel. I'm not sure how good it was as it did play up for us from time to time. Local Restaurants There are a variety of local restaurants in the locality all walking distance. It's a nice 10-15 min walk away in the evening. It's very safe to walk at night. I would say that ladies should wear comfortable low shoes or sandals as there is hardly any pavement or street lighting and you have to walk in the road. Here are a few of the restaurants we ate in and liked the food, Kantouni, Rymidi, Pyrgos and for lunch, we ate in Johnnie. We eat out a lot when we go on holiday and this has to be the friendliest set of restaurants staff I have ever met. All the restaurants upon seeing us a second time were so welcoming to the point that we even got a complimentary dessert and man, was it the best dessert I have ever eaten! The staff at Johnnie's all gave us hugs the day we were leaving. It felt like having family abroad. They were really nice people, some of the nicest I have met on our travels.
