DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! I booked with A&G suites and had the most terrible experience. The property messaged me the day I was arriving to tell me that the room I booked, a beautiful deluxe suite with a hot tub, wasn’t available and that they would be sending us to a completely different hotel that was “better and had a beautiful view”. When I arrived, this hotel was up a giant hill where cars couldn’t go, then down 100s of steps. I was travelling with 2 suitcases and a backpack and it was very difficult work. When I got there they told me I would stay there for 1 night then a shuttle would pick me up and I would get my room at A&G suites the following day. When I got to the room, it was okay, but still did not have a hot tub like I had paid for. The next day came and we went to where they told us to wait for them at 11am. There was no one waiting to pick us up. I contacted them and they said the car had broken down and to get a taxi and they would pay for it. When we arrived at blue suites to check it, they said they would not pay for it. I have messages from them saying they would pay. They then told us that our room at A&G suites wasn’t available still because of a problem with the hot tub and that we would stay here at the hotel. They showed us the room and it was significantly less than what we had booked, a standard room, not deluxe. It had mould in the bathtub and rust all around the faucets. It looked nothing like what I had booked and there was not hot tub. I complained and she said that was all she had and if we wanted a refunded we could go somewhere else. Otherwise, if we stay, we would get free breakfast and free transfer to the airport on our last day and a possibility of moving on the last couple nights. There was nowhere to go and we were exhausted from all the travelling, so we accepted these terms. The next morning we went to have breakfast and it was awful! A couple boiled eggs, oily cheap sausages, some bread, cheese, ham, tomato and cucumber. That is not a breakfast that would compensate for everything we lost and had already paid for. Upon researching, I found that the room we were given was significantly cheaper than what I had paid for, costing only €96 per night where as I had paid €140 per night for the deluxe suite. I went to the reception to ask to move to a better suite on our 4th day as this was when they said we could move. The lady was very rude, asking me why I hadn’t complained sooner, which I had. She told me she gave us free breakfast as compensation and I told her that the breakfast provided does not compensate for €150+ lost. She then moved us to a deluxe suite in the hotel for the last 2 nights. I again, asked for a partial refund for the nights missed and the money lost staying in the horrible room. She said she would not be giving any refund. Again, very rude. This is atrocious customer service.
