This place is awesome and in a great setting/location. Very convenient to walking into downtown, restaurants, and local attractions. Very quaint and clean. Their breakfast is so delicious as well as their smoothies. Lots of snack laid out for afternoon munchies. Their pancakes are to die for at breakfast. Plenty of parking. Just services are wonderful as well. If you’re going to Santa Fe, this the THE place to stay

Lovely place for a girls trip. Breakfast was delicious; happy hour on the front terrace was beautiful; and the rooms were fun, quirky, and one of a kind. Amazing history to the place as well. Innkeepers are helpful and thoughtful. This is a delightful place (and the antithesis of a big hotel).

We loved our 3-day stay at the "Bear". We were in town to visit friends but also hoping for a quiet and comfortable retreat to just "hang out" between visiting and sightseeing. We were not disappointed. The weather was chilly and damp during much of our stay, so we did not get to enjoy the grounds and the inviting nooks and crannies as much as we would have liked. But between our very comfortable and cozy room and the lounge in reception we felt right at home. Owner Dan and his team were most welcoming, and responsive throughout. The breakfasts were individually and lovingly prepared - a delicious start to the day. And we really enjoyed the daily Sunset Cocktails hosted by the Innkeeper; a wonderful way to get to know our fellow travelers. This is an exceptional inn and we hope very much to return. Highly recommend.

The Inn of the Turquoise Bear is what draws us back to Santa Fe year after year. For us there is no other place to stay. The breakfasts are world class cuisine made with such love and creativity. Sitting around the big table with all the other guests getting to know such interesting people is such a unique experience. Spending time in the evening with Dan and other guests over amazing conversations over a glass of wine is an exquisite part of the stay. The rooms are fantastic and filled with such history. Dan knows the area and can direct you to the best restaurants, hikes and places to see in Santa Fe. Absolutely 5 star.

Our visit to the Inn of the Turquoise Bear was simply amazing.  We admit, we haven't stayed at many B&B's, but this experience tells us this is the only way to travel.  The moment we arrived, we knew we were in for an exceptional experience.  We were warmly greeted by the Innkeeper and given an orientation to the Inn and our room.  This was our first visit to Santa Fe and they provided ample information on the area and made really helpful recommendations.  The breakfasts were delicious, ample and innovative and the homemade afternoon sweets were a treat.  We enjoyed their evening wine receptions on the front patio immensely where we were able to meet other guests and share our experiences of the day.  The history of this amazing Santa Fe Inn is truly impressive.  So many famous writers and artists have stayed here.  This authentic adobe estate has been updated and preserved by the owners for the future.   Clearly a stewardship of love.  Every area, including our guest room, was truly exceptional. The grounds are expansive and offered lush gardens and many spots to sit and relax and enjoy the mountain views.   Everyone was so gracious and helpful.  We cannot thank you enough. We know that we will return again.  Our visit was truly amazing.

A gem located so close to downtown Santa Fe. The attention to detail is unbelievable! This is a very comfortable Bed & Breakfast. The staff are very attentive and informative. The breakfast is delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing, yet provides opportunity for conversation with other guests. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Our particular room (Milay) was not as large as we had hoped. It was quite dark and the bathroom was very small. It was unique!! When we return, we will seek out a different room. Highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast.

The gourmet breakfasts and bakery snacks were scrumptious. Our well-appointed room (Witter Byner) was private and comfortable. The staff were amazing - attentive, accommodating, and efficient. Everything about this Inn was perfect. Exactly what was advertised. Walking distance to most everything. The morning breakfast was fabulous! The host was very informative and most helpful with everything I needed. I would highly recommend this Inn for a different and wonderful experience
