I and my partner had an amazing stay at the Catalyst. The staff were pleasant especially out favourite Busisiwe. The breakfast and other meals were lovely. The location was very central and there were shuttle buses to the Sandton City Mall and back. We will definitely be staying again when next we are in Jo’burg.

Good breakfast and place situated in the centre where are everything is close. Maybe a little bit expensive price in the bar, but it has very good choice.

1. The reception was very disrespectful (telephonically) and refused to give us water. He kept saying yes, he’ll bring and just won’t bring and then there’s no one downstairs when we wanted to request in person. 2. I requested for slippers and they refused and I ask what about room service and the reception shouted, “we don’t have anything, we have nothing!” 3. The hotel room door was broken in room 413, they fixed the door before 2.am and drilling and banging at early hours of the morning. We didn’t get a good rest at all. 4. This was the most uncomfortable stay I’ve ever had! The disturbances affected us both, the noise, the unprofessionalism, and the ill treatment.

Lovely and clean. Staff very helpful and courteous. Offered hourly shuttle servises to the mall (at no extra charge). Only downside a bit noisy on one of the nights. Will be happy to come again.

Nice apartment hotel near Sandton City mall. Free shuttle to mall every hour. Stayed 3 nights. Very relaxing. Can see sunrise from my room. No slippers or shaver provided. No hair dryer.

The hotel is located in a nice area not far from the city. The hotel is clean and restaurant has nice food and drinks. Pool isn’t that big and workout facility is decent. Cards for rooms stopped working often which was a little annoying. Staff was helpful and a good stay overall.

Excellent hotel, great location, the staff is very friendly and polite, rooms are clean and neat, but I was a bit disappointed when I found out the room didn’t have slippers inside. Overall, my stay in this hotel was very pleasant ✌🏼🔥
