Musella is a very special place to stay. We loved every moment here. As a family of 3 generations, everyone loved their stay equally as much. The staff are so friendly and helpful that it was lovely. Breakfast was perfect, lots of choice in a lovely setting too. They even had multiple gluten free options for us too. The best gluten free options I have had anywhere. Our family apartment was ideal for us and was decorated in a lovely style. The beds were comfy and everything was perfect for us. The kitchen was helpful too as we were able to cook a few times and the at downstairs in the lovely grounds of the courtyard. We met some other lovely guests there too- everyone seemed very friendly indeed. The communal lounge was ideal for watching the euros football with other guests too. It was very nice to have the pool too and our children used it every day. It is well looked after and nicely done. The wine at the vineyard is truly excellent. We have been purchasing their wine for the last 4 years which prompted our stay here. We would recommend doing the wine tasting here even if you already know the wines as it was a great experience. Everything about our stay was perfect. We have already recommended it to many of our friends to stay. Only 10-15 minutes easy drive to Verona is a great location too.

With our "usual" place being closed we needed to find a new spot and were not disappointed: This place is a fantastic oasis for relaxation and to start a day full of business from. We had an apartment featuring a large open living room, a small maisonette-style sleeping area, and a sleeping room with an ensuite bathroom (shower, toilet, bidet, tub - and there is another bathroom with shower and toilet next to the entrance of the apartment), all with windows and looking down into the courtyard and/or over the countryside. Furniture is in style and perfectly matches the atmosphere. The garden, or rather park like area is very well maintained and features many sitting areas as well as a pool further back in the park - enough deckchairs there to relax. There is a rivulet running through the estate, which gives the entire place the final touch of a hidden gem and paradise. Breakfast is excellent and offers all sorts of local and typical Italian dishes you'd expect. While they dont offer lunch or dinner, they have great snacks and platters, which you can enjoy together with their excellent wines from their own winery. The landlady and owner is a great person and pays a lot of attention to details, making sure everyone feels at home - so do her employees who really know how to provide hospitality. Verona is close by, but you need a car of course - max. 20 minutes into the centre of Verona. Make sure you follow the instructions during your reservation: come in the afternoon during the specified time window (otherwise let them know -in advance- <--- this is written everywhere, several times. Not difficult to understand), and use their google pin to find the place otherwise your nav might send you somewhere else (also not difficult to read and understand). Finally, they have lovely dogs who are used to people and children. Wonderful stay, thank you very much

I heard the wines were delicious. We adjusted our plans to stop by here. However, we didn’t have reservations. We waited forever for service so we decided to leave. Grounds looked nice but didn’t seem to want our business. Plus, it was hot. Don’t go without a reservation if interested.

On the occasion of my father in law’s 70th birthday we booked 4 rooms for an entire week at Musella. The staff was happy to help us with the booking from home and finding the best suited accommodation for our family. Musella is a beautiful place with lots of history and we very much enjoyed our stay. They a have a lovely pool (not heated) where you can relax to the sound of the nearby creek. The staff is helpful and kind, the breakfast has a wide selection of local food and the rooms were clean and spacious. Please note that there are friendly dogs (the previous owners) running around the arena and in order to go to restaurants a car or taxi is required as I would not recommend to try and walk along the road. We can highly recommend a stay at Musella and do not forget to join the wine tasting while you are there!

Musella Weinery & Country Relais is a fantastic place and winery. The staff are very helpful We had a double room on the ground floor with a terrace where you could enjoy a bottle of their own produced wine. We had a wonderful time here with our family of 8. We rented the 2 bedroom apartment for 5 of us, and 2 single rooms for the other 3. Everyone had their own space but we could all enjoy breakfast together in the morning. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We did a truffle hunt with the kids (super fun!) and a cooking class for my husband and myself. They have a beautiful pool area to relax after a day of walking around a city. There is also a great restaurant just down the road you can walk to. If you stay here be sure to book a winery tour and wine tasting. The old buildings are just gorgeous to see and the wines are excellent!

My wife, two young kids (9 and 11), and I recently stayed at Musella for a night on our way through Verona. We booked a two-bedroom apartment months in advance and were excited to stay at what is a lovely bed and breakfast. We arrived late (around 11:30 pm) on the night of our reservation, in part, because we got lost trying to find the place. We received a confirming email earlier that day, however, so we weren’t concerned. The email didn’t say anything about needing to call ahead if we were coming in late, so we were surprised to find the front gate locked and no lights on when we arrived. I called the number listed on the call box, which apparently connected me to the front desk clerk/manager who was offsite at the time. I’m not actually sure who the woman was because she didn’t identify herself, but she was very rude. When I let her know who I was, she immediately started berating me for not calling ahead. She was upset that she couldn’t reach me all day (she had been calling my wife’s phone, which was off), and I was afraid she had given our room away. My family and I were sitting on the side of a desolate road in the middle of the night in a foreign country, so I tried to be polite and apologetic. And fortunately, our room was still available. Everything seemed fine after the mystery woman opened the gate remotely and guided us to our room over the phone. The next morning, however, I had another unpleasant encounter with her while “checking in.” Rather than asking me how my stay was, she continued grumbling about our late arrival the previous night. Later that morning when I was checking out, the issue came up again when she (for the first time) mentioned a 20-euro “late arrival” fee that I was being charged. I explained that I was unaware I needed to call ahead—and that the confirming email didn’t say it was required—but she just kept arguing that “everyone knows you have to call” and that it’s mentioned in the “terms and conditions.” Her tone and demeanor was unprofessional and infuriating. Worse, I apparently got charged this ridiculous fee because Musella’s reception desk “closes” at 7 pm. As I said, the place itself is lovely and the owner (we ran into him as we were walking to our room the night we arrived) seemed nice. I rarely give bad reviews, but the mystery woman earned one by making me feel like my entire stay was an imposition to her. She got the 20 euro fee from me, but blew any chance that I or anyone I know will ever stay there or order their wine in the future. Seems pretty shortsighted, although I can’t say I’m surprised given her behavior during all three of our interactions.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Musella with Lucia, our guide. The winery is gorgeous, family-run, with a lovely ethos for biodynamic, natural wines. We'd booked onto a public tour, but ended up having a private one - they still ran the tour even though there were just the two of us! Lucia was a very friendly and knowledgable guide, she answered all of our questions, and was very easy to talk to. On top of all of that, the wines were delicious - I especially enjoyed the rose and Valpolicella Superiore - and we got to enjoy meats, cheeses, balsamic vinegars, olive oils and spreads all sourced from the winery or locally. We were staying in Verona and didn't have a pick-up, but it was very easy to reach by public transport. Musella have a bed and breakfast as well, which we didn't stay at, but now I'm really keen to!!
