Hotels in der Nähe von Chinatown, San José

Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte in diesem Hotel vor unserem Rückflug nach Europa. Zu erwähnen ist, dass wir für 20 USD pro Stunde gleich beim Einchecken ein garantiertes Late Check-Out buchen konnten (unser Flug ging am späteren Abend), ohne dass wir am Morgen nach der Verfügbarkeit fragen mussten. Das Hotel liegt inmitten der Einkaufs- und Museumsmeile, ist jedoch zum Schlafen sehr ruhig, da die Fenster seit dem kürzlich erfolgten Umbau absolut schalldicht sind. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gut und modern eingerichtet - mit genügend Steckdosen und USB-Ports für elektronische Geräte aller Art. Das Abendessen im Hotel-Restaurant war von einwandfreier Qualität und an der Bar werden sehr originelle Drinks gemixt (nicht nur das Allerweltszeugs wie Pina Colada, Margarita und Co.). Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und umfasst auch zahlreiche einheimische Spezialitäten sowie eine Egg-Station, wo Eierspeisen nach Belieben bestellt werden können. Die Corona-Massnahmen wurden sehr gut und für die Kunden nachvollziehbar umgesetzt, inklusive Aufforderung zum Desinfizieren beim Hoteleingang. Negativ war einzig, dass es beim Frühstück Säfte aus einem Tank gab und keine frischen Fruchtsäfte bestellt werden konnten, obwohl das Buffet zahlreiche schöne reife Früchte enthielt. Auch war es im Restaurant und den allgemeinen Räumen teilweise kalt wie in einem Gefrierschrank - American Style halt! Aber für uns ist dies trotzdem das Hotel der Wahl für einen Aufenthalt in San José.

Das war ein nettes Hotel direkt in der Mitte der Stadt. Es ist in Fußabstand zu vielen Restaurants und Geschäften! Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer waren sauber. Ich genossen es nicht mit Fenstern, weil ich in der totalen Dunkelheit schlafen mag. Die Wände sind dünn, aber glücklicherweise hatten wir keine lauten Gäste um. Ich würde hier nochmal bleiben! Das Frühstück war auch gut und die Leute, die dort arbeiteten, waren sehr schön!!

Unsere Erfahrung in diesem Hotel war extrem A+++, Anthony und Angie beide Front Desk Spezialisten waren so professionell und machten unseren Aufenthalt komfortabel. Sie gingen aus ihrem Weg, um sicherzustellen, dass unsere Touren gut organisiert waren und unser Frühstück im Hotel war jsut ausgezeichnet. Die glückliche Stunde war auch großartig. Das Hotel ist extrem sauber. Alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und sicher, dass wir wussten, wo wir hingehen. Es war schwer zu Hause zu kommen, weil es fühlte, als ob wir weg von zu Hause waren. Der Manager kam auch und versichert, dass wir einen großen Aufenthalt hatten.

We felt that for an upscale hostel, this place was on a whole, a great experience. My only suggestion is that the rooms need more ventilation. Our 4 person dorm room had a tiny window blocked by the beds. Putting a vent fan in the window would solve this issue. Otherwise, for what it is we loved our 2-night stay here. This was at the end of our 3 week trip and had been to many towns and places across the country, I'd say we met the most friends here and had the best time. The cafe could use more larger/common tables but we were able to meet people easily regardless. They have activities and events to encourage interaction as well as a bar and pizza oven. While these amenities are overpriced, they were convenient and similar to other hotel restaurants/cafes. We didn't feel the staff was pushy at all and if we just wanted to hang out in the cafe we weren't bothered and didn't feel forced to buy something. (and probably because of this, we usually did buy food or drinks) The location was good enough - we could walk to the central market / pedestrian mall in 10 minutes. It's walkable (during daytime) from the 7-10 bus station and the Tuasa bus to the airport. The co-working space we felt was a good value, and fantastic. High powered wifi can support video meetings and it's just across the street. Also somewhat social and a good environment to work. The staff and regular patrons were amazing and we felt that we had new friends as soon as we arrived. The place had a warm feeling that I can't quite describe, created by both the staff and the guests. We didn't want to leave.

Auf den ersten Blick ist dieses Hotel sehr schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Poolanlage groß. Allerdings ist alles etwas veraltet. Die Zimmer sind elegant gehalten und großzügig geschnitten. Tolles Hotel...zentral gelegen mit gutem Essen und freundlichem Service. 10 min bis zum Zentrum.

The city view was the best part, we got picked up from the hotel for a day tour. Tour guide said we’re in the new buildings area but it’s still unsafe at night so don’t go walking around, but the hotel itself was five to ten minutes from everything else, in the day we did walk around and felt safe, the park is right next to it which was nice to see and of course the stadium, cleanliness and guest services were great accommodating, we had our anniversary dinner at their restaurant and it had great views but service was slow and food was only okay, could’ve/should’ve eaten somewhere else, the best part was the pool on the highest floor, the top four floors were apartments, but the pool is on the highest of their floor, the jacuzzi wasn’t warmed and they warmed us that it wasn’t, but the pool itself was nice to swim in, stayed there for a little over an hour before going to dinner, would definitely go book again

I had the opportunity of staying at this Holiday Inn while traveling with a group. To be honest, it was one of the most beautiful Holiday Inns I have ever stayed at - the grounds were gorgeous. On top of that, there were no cleanliness issues, my night sleep was fantastic, and the facilities were great. First, the cleanliness. At this Holiday Inn, I encountered no cleanliness issues. There were no bug issues in my room, and that was a pleasant surprise because I expected that with Costa Rica's climate. I did not encounter any stains, hairs, or any thing of the sort in my room. Additionally, all of the lush plants around the hotel were beautifully manicured. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Second, the night sleep. I slept in a one king bedroom, and personally, I slept great with the beds at the Holiday Inn. One important thing to note about the Holiday Inn chain in general is the pillow situation: on each bed, there are two types of pillows - firm and soft. That general pillow trend was also present at this Holiday Inn, so make sure to look so you can sleep with the type that is the most comfortable for you. The air conditioning and the thick curtains also created a comfortable sleeping environment. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 Finally, the facilities. In terms of facilities, this Holiday Inn was absolutely the best one I have ever seen. There was an expansive outdoor pool with day beds (this is not heated which was fine), an ”infinity-edge” style hot-tub, a truly tropical breakfast place, a gift shop for any last minute souvenirs, and more. I think my favorite part was the breakfast because there was a wide array of foods, juices, and pastries to try. The food did seem to have a local Costa Rican flare to it which I enjoyed. My Rating for this Category: 5/5 I am not sure when I will have the chance of traveling to San Jose next, but I do know that the Holiday Inn San Jose La Sabana is a great choice for a short stay in the area. The rooms are clean, you'll get a good night sleep, and you'll also have the opportunity of enjoying great facilities on-site as well. So, I am able to recommend the Holiday Inn San Jose La Sabana with zero hesitations.

Adventure Inn really does feel like home in San jose. The ease and comfort they give you in a 10/10. From the shuttle service to and from the airport, an amazing complimentary breakfast and a beautiful/fun environment. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and I wont stay anywhere else in San Jose. Eric is also a great communicator and replies very quickly to any question you have. Also they make the BEST pina coladas! And their restaurant is also incredible. Thank you to the staff for always being friendly and helpful, and big thanks to Eric for making this place so easy for travelers.

Wir haben hier die erste Nacht unserer Reise geblieben und wurden von der freundlichen Mitarbeiter und einigen der FREISEST und WÄRMESTE GESCHÜSSEN kostenlosen Cookies bei der Eincheckung begrüßt. Am Ende unseres Aufenthalts hat einer unserer Verwandten die Cookies buchstäblich gehorcht, um 4-5 pro Tag zu bitten. Der Pool war sehr schön, und das Frühstück war so wunderschön, ästhetisch und schmecklich! Die Zimmer waren schön und cool, sehr sauber und hatten eine große Auswahl an Fernsehsendern. Am letzten Abend unserer Reise hatten wir ursprünglich geplant, in diesem Hotel im Wald zu bleiben, aber unsere Party beschloss, aufgrund einer Reihe von Bemerkungen zu verlassen. Wir waren alle erschöpft, weil es das Ende unserer Reise war, und wir mussten irgendwo bleiben. Sofort begannen alle zu singen, dass sie zurück zum DoubleTree wollten. Wir kamen und alle schrieen eine Erleichterung, und wir gingen in unsere warmen Betten mit unseren Cookies!

I had a 5 star experience here for 8 nights and enjoyed a beautiful room overlooking the golf course and mountains. The room service was exceptional particularly the quesadilla and the pasta dishes. The pools were sensational and even tho it was packed there was plenty of room for everyone. The spa was well worth it (ask for Laura) she is the best! I had great housekeeping from Maria on the fifth floor and my favorite bellman was a gentleman named Carlos. Everyone was very friendly and when there were any issues at checkout or checkin they were resolved quickly by the excellent customer support team of Caleb, Jackeline & Gianina all of whom provided impeccable service.
