Hotel Flavia

Appalling treatment - beware - the habit of overbooking and diverting customers to poorer standard subsidiaries is rife. Absolute con job. No upgrade or refund! Disgraceful. The standard of the new hotel room was a disgrace. Shower door off it’s hinge, pockmarked walls etc

Firstly we arrived at the airport and had booked transport through claudio at the hotel. It did not show. We called the hotel and they didn't have a record of it so we had to get a taxi. I'd also told them of my dietary requirements and was told this would be catered for. At breakfast they were not prepared at all. I have to say at this point however the breakfast chef was lovely and tried his hardest each morning to do what he could. The room was basic but as expected apart from the filthy shower. Layers of grime around the door. It blocked on the second night and the water was pouring out and we were told there was nothing they could do that night so we had to soak it up with towels. They fixed it the next morning. Upon leaving the hotel our transport arranged through the hotel cancelled!! We had a stressful rush to buy train tickets and get to termini station. Not great with 3 children. Do not trust their transport at all!!! The air conditioning also stopped working on the last night but by this point id given up and didnt even bother raising it so just slept with windows open and a dirty greasy cooking smell coming in. The location of the hotel was good and the friendly breakfast chef and that's about all I have to say that's positive.

The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was spacious. The staff was really helpful and responded fast per e-mail. We had a mini bar and safe in our room. The breakfast was rather basic but it had everything you needed. Fresh fruit would be a plus. It was close to the Trevi fountain and the Central Station Termini. I would Definitely recommend Hotel Flavia when you‘re going on a citytrip for 4-5 days to Rome.

Stayed for 5 nights in mid October. Fifteen minute walk from Rome Termini. Compact room for one person. Sagging mattress. Large modern bathroom. Could not have window open at night due to street noise. Good variety for breakfast. Front desk had good English. Restaurants nearby on same street. No internet in breakfast area.

Pour un prix exorbitant de 350 euros par nuit payé à l' avance nous sommes arrivés dans une chambre exiguë et vétuste en sous-sol donnant sur une cour. Pas de couverture, salle de bains avec de la rouille. Nous sommes repartis le lendemain et ne sommes toujours pas remboursés des 4 nuits non passées dans cet hôtel.

Séjour 3 nuits à l'hôtel Flavia en juillet 2024. Chambre confortable et climatisée (très utile en ce début juillet caniculaire sur Rome), plateau de courtoisie thé et café disponible en chambre. Très bon petit déjeuner, large choix de produits sucrés et salés. Emplacement intéressant, plein de petits restaurants fréquentés par les locaux dans les environs. L'hôtel Flavia est situé à proximité de la gare et des deux lignes de métro, accès facile au Vatican ou au Colisée. Service de bagagerie disponible. L'expérience à l'hôtel Flavia a été très bien et nous a permis de profiter de ce séjour à Rome.
