Das Bett ist bequem, ist schwach und reich an Minibaren. Die Gewässer werden täglich mit Bergwasser und Luftschlauchwasser kostenlos gefüllt. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und hell.Es war eine schöne Atmosphäre.Das Frühstücksbüffet war total lecker, eine grosse Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen.Die Lage des Hotels war sehr gut. We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

We had the opportunity to stay in the ”new” area and the hotel contacted us the day before we arrived to notify us because we would be staying across the street from the main building. There was no one there to greet us but they did provide us door codes to let us in and left the key on the front desk. They charged a city tax which we had to pay at the front desk of the main hotel. The only issues we had for check in is that both parts of the hotel are non-descript and have no signage outside - for the main part you have to look for the street number and the hotel's name is on the call board. I don't think either desk has staff after hours but we felt safe. The newer rooms are located below ground level beside a fairly busy street. Only motorcycles were the issue and we didn't hear them between 9 pm and 7 am. The bed was comfy with good pillows and the room came with a desk, closet and chair. The room was big enough for the two of us but the bathroom quarters were tight with a slanted ceiling that was quite low. I had to duck to use the toilet and get in and out of the shower - I bumped my head a lot in the washroom at 180 cm. The shower had good pressure and they provided extra packets of shampoo and soap. The shower head placement is a bit weird but wasn't a deal breaker. The hotel had a kettle with some tea, instant coffee and Biscoff biscuits. In the hallway they had a Krup/Nespresso machine to make espresso and coffee from pods. Another nice feature is that since the rooms we stayed in were below ground they stayed nice and cool. There was also its own AC/heat machine in the room with an English remote so we could control the climate of the room. The area is quite cool and we were a 20 minute walk to the Vatican City Museum Entrance and 10 minute walk to St. Peter's Square. The Castel Sant'Angelo was right across the river from us and was really nice to look at day and night. The forum and Colosseum area were about 30 minutes away as well and there were many small attractions and good restaurants nearby. April is the start of high season in Rome and we paid more than we wanted to for this hotel but relative to other crazy prices in Rome we thought we got a decent deal for a good night's sleep while we explored Rome. The prices seem to fluctuate a lot at this hotel and you could probably get a good deal here in low season. To get here you can take a 20 minute ride from Roma Termini on Bus 40 or 64 which is 1.5 Euros. If you're coming from or going to the airport the SIT bus was an excellent option and costs 8 Euros for a comfy sit down bus with a couple of stops. You can also take a train/bus combo from the airport to Roma Termini and then to the hotel. Anyway it is pleasant and convenient.

Erstens die gute Nachricht: Das Personal, wie es ist (eine Person auf einem Rezeptionbüro von 8 bis 5 Uhr) sind freundlich und hilfreich bis zu einem Punkt; das Zimmer ist täglich gereinigt (obwohl konsequent ein Splash von etwas Stick auf der Wand vermisst); Die Lage ist gut, aber problematisch, dass Taxis nicht zum Eingang des Hotels kommen, sondern müssen in der Piazza einen kurzen Spaziergang parken - nicht gut mit schweren Taschen. Dann die schlechte Nachricht: Das Hotel kann von Palazzo Taverna sein, aber es ist nicht in irgendeiner Weise von Palazzo Taverna, das ich weiß. Es befindet sich auf einer dunklen Straße von gebrochenem Deck und keine Lichter nach dunklen. Außerdem ist das Gebäude mit sehr dunklem Schafflotten (das Hotel hat offensichtlich keine Kontrolle über das). Es gibt keine Handschellen für die sehr starken drei Schritte bis zur Vordertür. Nach 5 Uhr sind die Kunden allein mit einem Schlüssel zu bekommen. Innerhalb gibt es einen Flug von sehr starken Treppen, wieder nur teilweise mit einem Handschienen, um in die ersten Stockzimmer zu kommen. Das Frühstück im Zimmer besteht aus Pakete von Nescafe und Tee plus Zucker und einem Wasserheizgerät. Der Internetservice ist sehr spottig. Und als ich einen Taxi am Abend gebeten hatte, aus dem Taxi auszugehen, wurde mir ein Stück Papier mit einer Nummer auf ihn geschrieben und gesagt, es zu nennen. So viel für hilfsbereite Concierge. Natürlich hatte ich das Glück, selbst nach 17 Uhr zu haben, und im Allgemeinen gibt es niemand, der mit irgendetwas helfen kann. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, wie das sogar als Hotel nach italienischen Vorschriften qualifiziert wird. Der Ort ist günstig und die Lage ist gut für diejenigen mit starken Beinen; sonst gibt es nicht viel zu empfehlen, diesen bedauerlichen Ort.

Ich muss diese Bewertung mit dem Gastgeber beginnen, Laura ..... Sie hat mir einen Text über WhatsApp ein paar Tage vor unserem Ankunftsdatum vorgestellt, die sich selbst vorgestellt, uns begrüßt und gebeten, unsere Reiseinformationen zu teilen, so dass sie für uns bereit war. Von da an war der Kundenservice erstaunlich! Seit wir früh am Morgen angekommen sind (ein Übernachtungsflug aus den USA), hatte sie einen Vorschlag gemacht, Frühstück über die Straße zu haben. Ihre Kommunikation war ausgezeichnet und sie schickte spezifische Fotos, es gab keine Möglichkeit, dass wir miteinander vermischt hätten. Die Suiten waren sehr sauber, geräumig und perfekt für unsere vier Familie. Die Betten waren komfortabel und der Duschedruck war perfekt. Jedes Mal, wenn ich eine Frage hatte, antwortete Laura schnell. Das Hotel ist zentral auf alles, auf einer kleineren Straße, so dass der Verkehr minimal war. Das Restaurant über die Straße, Firo, war auch erstaunlich. Das Personal war super freundlich und es fühlte sich wie eine zweite Familie für uns. Ich würde HiSuites sehr empfehlen und planen, wieder zu gehen.
