Renoviertes Hotel mit fantastischer Sicht auf Rom auf der Roof-top-bar, die auch als Restaurant / Frühstücksort dient.
Sehr freundliches Personal.
Die Ausstattung ist einem 5-Stern-Hotel angemessen,
die Qualität des Essens ist eher 4-Stern-Niveau.
Das Hotel ist in einem alten schönen Haus untergebracht und ist sehr nah an der spanischen Treppe, so dass man alles fussläufig erreichen kann. Der Service war nicht ganz besonders.Das Frühstück war einzigartig nicht nur weil Es vielfältig war, sonder auch einen schönen Ausblick hatte.

Normalerweise sind Stadthotels unerfreulich. Ganz anders das Sofitel. Zwar im alten Stil aber neu, sauber, stylish eingerichtet. Es ist gut gelegen und mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Daher war es eine erfreuliche Überraschung. Gerne wieder!

Was für ein schöner Geburtstag in einem besonderen Boutique Hotel. Ich bedanke mich von Herzen bei allen Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern für diese 2 wundervollen Tage und Nächte in einem der schönsten Hotels in Rom und dies in meiner Lieblingsstadt. Vielen Dank für alles- es war besonders und es ist eben ein Sofitel von Accor. Besser geht es nicht!

Das Hotel eine sehr gute Lage, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind innerhalb von ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet und der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse eine der besten, die man in Rom haben kann. Allerdings sind die Barpreise auch sehr hoch. Die Hotelzimemr sind schön modern eingerichtet aber der absolute Hammer (positiv!) sind die Matrazen - man schläft wie auf Wolken! Noch niemals im Leben habe ich so gut in einem Hotel geschlafen! Normalerweise wache ich selbst zu Hause mit Rückenschmerzen morgens auf - im Sofitel Rom: nix! Man schläft buchstäblich wie auf Wolken und ist am nächsten Tag total ausgeruht - das habe ich noch niemals so erlebt - und ich reise sehr biel privat und auch beruflich - weltweit.

Several good things to say about Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese: 1) Clean (a big postive). 2) Beautiful in appearance. 3) Quiet and relaxing, no kids running around. 4) Breakfast on 7th floor was excellent, as was the view. 5) Staff were friendly and helpful. However, there were a couple significant negatives about the Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese 1) Bed. The bed mattress had significant divots/sag which made it difficult to get a restful night's sleep (see photo). A turn or roll towards the center of the bed was like trying to summit one of the 7 hills of Rome. Minus one star. 2) Outlets. A minor thing, but the electrical outlets were so worn (the metal prongs), plugs would not stay secure.

It was a big disappointment. The hotel definitely has not 5 star luxury hotel standards. Our rooms were very cold , the central heating was not operating. The hotel offered us small electric heaters ! Overall the staff were not polite and helpful. One of the main reasons we have chosen this hotel was because it was a “Sofitel “ brand. We are platinum members but we did not feel welcome. We have booked 3 rooms. None were upgraded. The breakfast was very poor for the value of money, even for a simple omelette, we had to pay extra. We do not recommend this hotel .

Very nicely situated in the Villa Borghese area. Front desk and concierge staff were excellent. Room was beautiful. Rooftop restaurant view was amazing. We went to the rooftop for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All meals were very good and accommodating to various dietary requirements. Walking distance to the Spagna Metro station and buses.

WOW! For us, the fantastic rooftop view of Rome every morning while we had breakfast made our Rome experience super special! The staff, service and location were TOP NOTCH. Our room was very comfortable and had great amenities. So glad Costco Travel listed this hotel as one of the options!

Beautiful hotel and staff. Everyone was so accommodating and the room was gorgeous! The restaurant was also beautiful! We obtained a corner suite that had a beautiful view of a park. The bed and sheets was a destination we never wanted to get out of. The bathroom was beautiful with dual showers and every night, housekeeping always checked up on us to ensure we had everything we needed. The location of the hotel was perfect and will be a hotel that I will come back to stay!

Amazing romantic getaway! Hotel is beautiful, service is impeccable and overall just perfect. We loved the breakfast buffet, the concierge were on point and front desk always friendly.
