Babuino Apartment This sounded good as it was close to the Spanish Steps. However you had to go up about 4 flights of stairs to get into apartment. With luggage, and after walking all day in Rome a real chore. The cabinets in kitchen were so high you could not reach them. Needed a 9 foot man. It was dark. There were no bedside tables. Lamps? Reading. No way. No place for clock. They had clear plastic chairs in kitchen which we had to use for bedside tables although a manual told us not to. The shower had absolutely no place for anything, soap? Shampoo. When we arrived someone had put shampoo on top of shower. Unreachable. But no where else to put anything, shower difficult to figure out. Supposed to be out by 9:30. But cleaning person was there early. The RULE book said nothing was to be moved and they expected everything to be like it was when you got there. TV did not work. Bathroom so dark, hard to put makeup on. However seemed to have a light above mirror but it did not work. I hope no one else is fooled by this A.l.c. Host.
