Summer Memories Aparthotel

Just returned from a fantastic week at Summer Memories in Pefkos. Can't really think of anything I could fault this accommodation with. Spacious room, large balcony, decent sized pool, high standard of cleaning, very comfortable bed, hot, powerful shower, beautiful gardens, easy access to the main *****, really good quality food (enjoyed everything we ate and drank there), very friendly and welcoming staff and even down to being the first apartments we have stayed in with adequate number of hangers for our clothes!

What a fab place!🌟 My partner and I have just returned from a week at Summer Memories in Pefkos. Stavros is brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us, so friendly and helpful. Jo at the bar was great too, they make you feel so welcomed. Our room had a newly fitted modern bathroom, with a fantastic waterfall shower. The room was spotlessly clean and the cleaners were so friendly too. We had breakfast included with our stay, this went on from 8:30-12:00, which was great if you wanted a late breakfast/brunch. The food was delicious and you could choose from a wide selection of savoury and sweet options from the menu. We also had lunch at the hotel a few times, which was also super tasty and reasonably priced. Also, everyone else who was staying at the hotel was really friendly, the whole place had a lovely atmosphere. Everyone we spoke to said they would be coming back to Summer Memories again. Got back early Saturday morning. We were on the top floor rooms 42. The room was fantastic loved the refurbished bathroom especially the showers. The room itself was spotless and nice comfy beds. Stavros and Jo make you feel welcome from the 1st till the last day. Bar and Food prices are good with a decent snack menu. Location of the hotel great for all the bars and tavernas. Pool area nice and clean no problem with sunbeds. P.S thanks for the birthday cake 😋

Just got back from a great stay at summer memories the room was spotless and the bathroom had just been refurbished which was nice the beds were really comfy the pool area was great and you could always get a sunbed anytime of day Stavros and Jo were great hosts the breakfast was excellent loads of choice as well as the snacks and drinks the pool was lovely as well but as we came in August was like getting into a hot bath 🥵🥵 will be definitely coming back to summer memories as the location was central to all the bars and excellent restaurants in pefkos the only thing that let it down was the really bad wi-fi which was none existent at times which was not good as I have a 14y old daughter 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤣 .

I had the best time at this hotel the people were so nice and I had the same breakfast everyday and it was delicious. It was such a lovely place to stay and it’s so pretty and the view was amazing that we had I loved it so much that I miss it. Going to the different places in Rhodes it was amazing. I would really love to go back next year cause it was amazing the room was so nice. the one thing that we struggled with was the bathroom because when we came back to our room from the beach to have a shower on one night it flooded the bathroom and we had to open our door to dry the floor. Also me and my family went whilst everyone else was at school and it was quiet as well where we were.

What a fantastic place lovely family run hotel nothing is too much trouble lovely clean and spacious rooms and the pool is amazing and spotlessly clean the food is scrumptious and plenty of choice and staff are so friendly everything is with in easy reach from bars to restaurants to gift shops can’t wait to go back came home today and miss it already 😞

Everything was great ! Room and grounds are spotlessly clean ! The staff are extremely friendly and happy to help with anything! The location is central to everything ! The atmosphere is extremely friendly, lots of very happy holiday makers. We had a fabulous holiday ! We will definitely be back !

Brilliant place to stay. 10/10 for host nothing too much trouble. Cleanliness 9/10 just needs little bit of extra care. Sleep was perfect 10/10.Fascilities were exceptional everything you could need 10/10 plus. Breakfast 10/10 cooked to perfection. Would we go back definitely yes in fact we have booked again for May 2024, Recommend without hesitation.

On our late arrival to our room, we noticed a horrible smell and we heard a scurrying sound, which we then found out was cockroaches that we saw in the bedroom and bathroom area. My husband killed the ones that he could. We went straight to bed but could not sleep well as I was terrified of the cockroaches. Also, we had no aircon, so the room was very hot. The next morning, we looked around the studio apartment and noticed that the shower in the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, the cooking facilities were non-existent, the utensils that were there were either dirty or rusty and the plates were discoloured. There was no table or chairs to sit on to be able to eat anything either. My husband then noticed that the room was full of ants which were carrying the dead cockroaches out. We requested a different room, and we were given a room on the next floor which was slightly bigger. We asked about the aircon, and we were told we had to pay 65 euros for the week and pay to use the safe in the room, apparently it was in the small print, which we had missed and obviously hotel tax which we paid straight away. We went to unpack and when we tried to put the aircon on, it would not go below 24 degrees as it was controlled and the way it was positioned it did not touch some of the areas in the room, which was unbearable at times with temperatures reaching 37 degrees. The shower in the bathroom was the same as the other room that we had, there were red marks on the tiles which looked like blood, the plug hole was dirty and rusty, the sliding doors were disgustingly dirty and it was so small, it would be so claustrophobic if the doors were closed. We refused to shower there and we used the shower on the beach. This room had chairs lined up against the wall but no table to eat at. The fridge door would not close properly, so it generated more heat in the room. We tried to sit on the balcony to have a quiet cup of coffee in the morning, but the aircon next door was making a right racket, which my husband complained about on several occasions, and they said they would go and fix it, which they did not. They told us to carry the little table off the balcony and sit inside. One evening when I came to have a wash at the sink, the towels that they had left on the bed in a pile, were all wet and some dirty with stains, so I had to put them on the balcony to dry. On another day, when we came back from the beach, we noticed the room had not been cleaned, so we went to make the bed ourselves and we noticed that the mattress protector was disgustingly stained and dirty. We pulled it off and the mattress was even worse. Due to this we then slept on the single bed for the next two nights as this was cleaner. On our last day, we paid 35 euros to stay in a small studio room downstairs as we had a late flight home. This was a very small room again, there was no cold water in the sink in the bathroom or kitchen, only scolding hot water. The shower however was slightly bette
