Lough Inagh Lodge Hotel

Everything about this hotel is magical; the stunning location, the comfortable ambience, decor and superb cuisine, so friendly and welcoming, doggy friendly too, our room was very spacious and the bed so comfortable, we hope to return soon!

We stayed at the Lodge two nights and wish we had booked for a week. It rained our whole stay but we were treated so warmly, with tea and scones in front of a roaring fire each night, that it hardly mattered. Arthur was so charming, regaling us with wonderful stories. The other guests were all Irish, including a large family celebrating an 80th birthday with songs and laughter. We loved every minute here. You will, too.

My two brothers and I were on our way back to Galway after a photoshoot in Claddaghduff. We had phoned ahead and when we arrived a very warm welcome awaited us. In the bar, we all enjoyed a most amazing dinner, and even the bar manager remembered us from our visit the same time last year. The food, the ambience, the personal attention made for a most perfect stop

Nice old world lodge. Room was spacious and had a lovely lake view. Lovely large comfy bed. Breakfast was very nice. Can't forget to mention Thomas in the bar who went out of his way to oblige. Only negative was was the black mould around shower tray.

I had the pleasure of staying in Lough Inagh Lodge Hotel as part of a family gathering this Easter weekend. The food, accommodation and service were excellent. Máire and her team could not have been more helpful. It truly felt like a home away from home which made our stay all the more relaxing. The Panoramic view of the Twelve Bens and Lough Inagh from the hotel is spectacular. Tom the bar manager pulls the smoothest pint of Guinness which together with their seafood is a marriage made in heaven.

From arrival to departure we absolutely loved every minute here. We were checked in by a great guy (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name!!) and from the first minute we arrived he looked after us impeccably, we literally wanted for nothing. I noticed he always checked in on us in the front room, without being invasive and, would happily chat or not, he really is a pro & just knows his stuff & also the young lady who worked the evening shift was a great waitress and also attentive and took care of us so well! This is your typical old shooting lodge style property with a homely feel and ambiance to it and it’s as if your mum has turned into a professional cook and made your dinner for you! The food was absolutely gorgeous! You’re in the middle of no where so please do book dinner and eat here. They deserve the business ten fold!! We sat in the lounge and had a bottle of wine by the fire when we arrived, chilled out & simply enjoyed the view, the gardens & the walk across the road down to the water, our little dog lay in front of the big open fire and they even made us up a dining table in the front room rather than the dining room. Just so we didn’t have to move really and meant Grace our little dog could enjoy the fire throughout the evening. The rooms are so comfortable, clean & quiet, we were in room 1 on the ground floor, huge room, dressing space & separate bathroom. Great views to the front of the lodge & over the road to the water, and also the side garden. Breakfast was equally as good as dinner & we wished we had another night here! I would hesitate to recommend you to stay here if you want peace, tranquility, great true Irish ☘️ hospitality and a home from home feeling.
