My Amazing Stay at Best Western Plus, Puerto Princesa! Just wrapped up an unforgettable stay at Best Western Plus in Puerto Princesa, and I have to rave about my experience! From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff made me feel so welcome. My room was a slice of paradise – spacious, immaculate, and so comfortable. ️✨ I spent my days lounging by the beautiful pool , indulging in rejuvenating treatments at the spa , and staying active at the well-equipped gym ️♀️. Dining at Anibong Restaurant was a delightful surprise – truly a hidden gem with fantastic cuisine! ️ The service there was impeccable, making every meal a treat. Das Zimmer ist super groß und es gibt einen kostenlosen Flughafentransfer. Ich habe es wegen der kostenlosen Abholung vom Flughafen gebucht. Das liegt daran, dass mein Partner und ich verschiedene Flüge unternommen haben und sie auch sehr nett waren. Wir fragen im Voraus nach, also haben Sie keine Erwartungen an das Frühstück.

Ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll, wenn ich über dieses Lokal spreche, weil es so fabelhaft ist!
Das Personal hat sich vom Anfang bis zum Ende unseres Aufenthalts großartig um uns gekümmert. Freundlichkeit, Verfügbarkeit und Professionalität, die ich in keinem anderen Hotel gefunden habe! Ich habe sogar ein kleines Stück Kuchen zum Geburtstag meines Partners bekommen!
Vom Gärtner bis zur Rezeptionistin sind alle freundlich, zuvorkommend und unglaublich nett!
Das Zimmer ist geräumig, gut durchdacht und die Betten sind angenehm!
Die öffentlichen Bereiche sind sauber. Die Manager haben wirklich an alles gedacht: Fahrräder für einen Spaziergang vorhanden, schönes Natursteinschwimmbad, Garten im Bau, aber schon gut gemacht, Kanu- und Kajakfahren sind ebenfalls möglich... kurz gesagt, alles zum Wohlfühlen!
Das Hotel hat während unseres Aufenthaltes viele kleine Aufmerksamkeiten zu bieten: Wir bekamen jeden Tag Kleinigkeiten zum Essen!
Und ein kleines Extra, das für mich ein Extra ist, weil ich ein großer Kaffeeliebhaber bin: eine Kaffeebar, die von einer liebenswerten kleinen Frau geführt wird.
Er hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir unseren ersten Aufenthalt in Palawan genossen haben und dass wir wiederkommen wollten! DANKE !

Dieser Ort ist offensichtlich noch immer von den Auswirkungen der Covid-Verriegelungen kämpfen. Das Personal ist der beste Teil dieses Ortes. Der Klimaanlage ist untergrößer und hat eine Tageslichtlücke um ihn herum. Das Zimmer Kühlschrank ist wertlos, weil sein elektrisches Kreislauf schließt, wenn Sie das Zimmer verlassen. Wer will zurück von einer Reise und holen einen warmen Getränk aus dem Ref? Frühstücksbuffet ist ziemlich schlank. Sie schicken eine Signatur, die Sie bittet, Wasser zu bewahren, aber sie enthalten nicht einmal Wassersparende Fässer oder Dusche Kopf. Und dann gab es die Fehler. Wenn ich wusste, dass sie 'Stundenraten' anbieten würde ich diesen Ort vermeiden.

Trip started with Kuya Darwin, one of their very friendly and competent drivers. Super near and accessible to nearby tours that you can book at the front desk. Our room was quite modern with a spacious and comfortable bed, with just the right amount of pillows! Food and drinks were a highlight being very affordable with great serving sizes! Es liegt fast im Zentrum, gegenüber einem großen Einkaufszentrum, in dem man absolut alles kaufen kann, einer Tankstelle in der Nähe usw. Es ist einfach, diesen Ort in jede Richtung zu verlassen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ordentlich, der Pool liegt auf hohem Niveau, ein bisschen Bau unter den Fenstern würde nicht schaden, denn ich glaube, lange wird man hier nicht bleiben, schließlich ist Puerto Princessa nur ein Umsteigepunkt.

This is supposedly the only 5 star resort in the area which is sad as I think competition might actually inspire them to do better. The place itself is very nice and initial impressions are quite excellent. But the longer we stayed the more we noticed the lack of upkeep in the rooms. The size of the bathroom is big but there is not a single electrical outlet inside so you cannot plug in anything not even the hairdryer. The shower glass door does not close shut and with the very strong water pressure you can be assured of a very wet overflowing floor outside of the shower enclosure. We paid for 2 extra persons in the room which they informed us meant sharing the beds and breakfast inclusive but they don’t automatically provide the extra towels. Even after calling them to request for more towels they still took more than 2 days to give us our extra towels. The water in the pool is quite warm and not refreshing as the heat of the sun kept it quite warm but some of our friends actually liked it that way so it’s more of a personal preference. The drying rack in the balcony is a nice touch as we can dry our swim clothes there. There are also water dispensers in the hallway which is great for refilling the complimentary glass bottles of water provided. Buffet breakfast is included in the room rates but don’t expect anything extraordinary. The Italian restaurant in the resort does not seem to be ready for the tourist influx as food came out ever so slowly and we felt bad for the foreign tourists who don’t complain as much as the locals so we did get our food faster than they did. The resort is expanding so there is construction ongoing which is a positive sign of tourist revival in PP which I’m happy about for them but I wish they would also pay closer attention to the upkeep of the existing rooms.

I've stayed in this hotel before, and I keep returning since it's affordable, safe, and has decent rooms and a spacious parking lot—features that other hotels in Palawan lack.I've recently noticed that they no longer offer airport service, although they have contacts for taxi drivers in case you need one. However, it would be great if they could add the airport pickup and drop-off once more for a hassle-free trip, especially for those visiting Palawan for the first time .Being somewhat honest, some taxis, vans, and tricycles take advantage of tourists by charging them more than the normal.

Ein wenig verspätet, aber ich hatte es nicht vergessen, Angelo! ;) Wir waren Ende Februar, Anfang März im Costa Palawan Resort. Nach einer längeren Reise durch Südostasien wollten meine Partnerin und ich noch drei Tage zum Abschluss entspannen. Das hat auch wunderbar geklappt! Die Begebenheiten zum Strand, die in anderen Bewertungen schon angegeben wurden, muss ich leider bestätigen, doch dafür kann – meines Erachtens – das Hotel an sich nichts dafür, weswegen ich deswegen auch keinen Bewertungspunkt abziehe. Lobenswert sind meiner Meinung nach besonders das Personal, welches sehr zuvorkommen war und einem jeden Wunsch erfüllt hat. Ein Beispiel: Selbst ein Feuerzeug hat mir eine nette junge Dame von der Rezeption organisiert, da mir sämtliche Feuerzeuge bei der Sicherheitskontrolle des Inlandflugs abgenommen wurden (Tipp: in den Koffer damit). Fußläufig gab es nämlich keinen Shop oder zumindest war keiner ersichtlich. A propos ”Tipp”! Hier sind noch zwei, drei weitere: Im Resort gibt es einen ATM, falls ihr Bargeld benötigen solltet. Des Weiteren gibt es ein Spa. Ich hatte mich für eine ”Combination Massage” entschieden, was eine gute Wahl war (eine Kombination aus der Swedish und Hilot Massage). War sehr gut! Und im Restaurant müsst ihr das ”Beef Kare Kare” probieren! Noch ein ultimativer Reisetipp: Es gibt die Möglichkeit, über die Rezeption Touren zu buchen. Das hatten wir gemacht (PPS Subterranean River). An dieser Stelle Danke und beste Grüße an Joel (Kalokairi Travel Tours)! Tourmitglieder von uns hatten die Fahrt dorthin als Zwischenstation genutzt, um von dort weiter nach El Nido zu reisen – eine phantastische Idee! Und last but not least: Probiert beim Infinity Pool Angelos Cocktail namens ”Wing Wing”! Der Mann weiß, was er tut. Salamat!

GGuest UserWir waren zweimal im Astoria Palawan, das erst mal eigentlich nur um auf Palawan „anzukommen“ und das zweite mal am Ende unserer Reise, weil unser 5-jähriger Sohn uns gebeten hat nochmal zu kommen, da er so einen Spaß hatte und uns das Resort auch gut gefallen hat. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr lieb und aufmerksam. Albert aus dem Service und Nurse Carlos haben sich super um uns gekümmert, als uns die Sandflöhe „überfallen“ haben, ACHTUNG!!! Kommen nach dem Regen!!! Der Strand ist nicht wirklich zum Baden da, wer also Strandurlaub möchte, ist hier nicht richtig. Wir gehen gerne in den Pool, deshalb für uns total ok das Meer nur „vor der Nase“ zu haben. Abends gab es direkt beim Essen Live Musik und Feuershow. Lemuel aus dem Recreation-center war am Ende der beste Freund unseres Sohnes und wir mussten mit Tränen abreisen. Das Essen hat uns immer geschmeckt, nur unser Sohn hatte leider keine wirklich „kindgerechte“ Auswahl. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und man kann gut relaxen. Super ist auch ein freier Eintritt pro Aufenthalt in den Wasserpark nebenan. Wer Kinder hat.. unbedingt ausnutzen. Bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt konnte uns die sehr liebe Pierre an der Rezeption sogar trotz anderer gebuchter Zimmerkategorie das Deluxe-Zimmer 111 geben. Man hat hier direkten Meerblick. Beim zweiten Aufenthalt waren wir in einem der Haupthäuser, leider gibt es hier im 1. OG keine Balkone. Zimmer sind aber auch top! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, sollten wir nochmal auf Palawan Urlaub machen. Vielen Dank 🙏

The hotel environment was perfect, with lush greenery and a tranquil atmosphere that added to the overall charm of the place. The pool area was fantastic, offering a great spot to unwind and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The service was outstanding, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their professionalism and hospitality truly enhanced my experience.
Overall, Panja Resort Palawan deserves a full 5 stars for its excellent amenities, stunning views, and exceptional service. I highly recommend this hotel to solo travelers looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

KKenDucsWe recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I must say it was one of the cleanest hotels I've experienced in Palawan. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access local attractions. However, there was some noise from a nearby bar late at night. It wasn't too distracting for me, especially on the higher floors, so I recommend requesting one of those if you’re sensitive to sound.
The hotel itself is well-maintained, likely due to its recent renovations. The elevator, though small, was smooth and always clean, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The bathroom was a highlight—very clean and comfortable, although I did find the water heater a bit challenging to adjust.
Each room features a smart lock and a smart TV with Netflix and other apps, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was reliable, even on the highest floor, allowing for seamless browsing.
One area for improvement would be the bedding. While the mattress and pillows were decent, a thicker comforter would enhance the sleeping experience, as the provided blanket was quite thin.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While this may not be a luxury hotel, it offers excellent cleanliness and customer service, making it a great choice for travelers. I would certainly consider staying here again!

AAdamBilgyZwischen der Hauptbahnhof und dem Flughafen in einer ruhigen Gegend, und nur 100 pesos Fahrt vom Flughafen. Ein 20-minütiges Spaziergang von einem großen Einkaufszentrum. Der ganze Ort ist sehr sauber und schön, mit komfortablen Sonnenbädern durch einen großen sauberen Schwimmbad. Das Zimmer ist komfortabel und sauber, mit guter Klimaanlage und Wäsche. Dusche ziemlich leistungsfähig. Ausgezeichnetes WLAN. Außerhalb der Bereiche mit kleinem Fitnessraum, Bar und Lebensmittelbereich. Dieser Ort akzeptiert keine Kreditkarten, will eine 2000 peso Cash-Deposit und Sie können nicht in Ihrem Zimmer eine Minute vor der 2pm-Frist prüfen. Auch keine Flexibilität oder Nutzung des Pools nach dem Check-out, für welche sie bezahlen werden. Zimmerkühlschrank voll teuer Getränke, aber es gibt einen Shop 2 Minuten zu Fuß, wo Sie weiche Getränke kaufen und das Zimmer Kühlschrank verwenden können, um sie kühl zu halten. Das Frühstück ist angemessen und grundlegend, aber in Bezug auf den Gesamtpreis gut. Insgesamt sehr guter Wert und ich würde sehr empfehlen.

GGastnutzerThis hotel is in a great location of Puerto Princesa. It's on a quiet street and within walking distance to everything you need. And if you need a trike to go somewhere further it will cost you no more than 50 pesos. The hotel can also arrange all trips for you. For a great price. Like El Nido or anywhere else on the island. I stayed here for quite sometime since I had no time limit to my time in Palawan. And everything was great. The cleaning lady Chona is really cool and has very good english skills. I've watched her clean and she doesn't cut corners. She gets in there and scrubs everytime. I will come back to Palawan and I will stay at this hotel again. You can go wrong with the location and amenities. WiFi worked great as well and that is a huge deal for most of us foreigners these days. Book your stay here, you won't regret it!

The pool was great, perfect for a swim or just chilling out in the sun. It's well-kept and a nice spot to relax.
We loved the on-site resto/cafe. I had an americano and it was on par. It was a great place to start the day with its super cozy and welcoming vibe.
For fun, they have a dart board and a Pinoy pool table. We had a blast playing both in the mornings with my family.
Overall, Microtel Puerto Princesa was an amazing experience with its great location, awesome amenities, and fun activities. Highly recommend it for a laid-back seaside getaway!

GGuest UserDie Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, was der einzige gute Punkt für mich ist, ehrlich zu sein. Andernfalls war ich enttäuscht aus den folgenden Gründen (einige sind durch Bilder illustriert) Es gab ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer, der Ruhe hatte, die nicht funktionierte, es gab was sieht wie Form im Badezimmer. Es gab eine elektrische Plug-Socket hängen die Hälfte der Wand ( denken Sie nicht sicher zu verwenden). Es gab einen zusätzlichen Gast im Boden - nicht sicher, ob es für Dekoration oder ob es lebt ( Bild zeigt dir, was ich meine).Die Unterkunft ist direkt hinter der Hauptstraße. Das heißt, Sie haben einen langen Weg zu gehen, um dorthin zu kommen. Nicht ideal für die Nacht, um ehrlich zu sein Nicht eine Unterkunft, die ich wieder aufbewahren würde, um ehrlich zu sein.

PPeter KunzlerBasic hotel at reasonable cost on Gabinete road. The Rovia hotel is quiet, has no restaurant, however, you will find plenty of local eateries in the Baran*** Bancao-bancao. About 600 metres from the fishing port. You can swim in the sea there.
Nobody told us:- Rovia hotel swimming facilities are best in the area, partially shaded by overhead screens. Adult pool great for practising technique and stamina. Kiddies pool bigger than most local hotel adult pools. Lots of local children pay to swim in the pools on weekends.
Air conditioning works fine, bathroom sink has no drain plug, shower is quite nice. Kettle in the hallway for coffee. Wi-Fi disappears during the night, though. No fridge in our room, but great balcony facing the morning sunrise. TV is average. Ideal for small families with many excursions. We booked a second stay of 11 days in February 2024.
