Hotel is quite far from the waterfront, but its not a big issue as the walk is nice 15-20 min or you take a cab which is all time available for 1,5$. Its called Hostal but rooms are like in a Hotel. They are nice and clean. At the roof top you have nice view, tables and a bar which was not on duty when i was there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I wanted to change my flight and the receptionist was very helpful and even wanted to go with me to the agency in town which was unfortuntely not existed anymore. For it class i can strongly recommend to stay there

Das Hotel liegt sehr nahe dem Hafen, und wir haben das Hotel für einen Übernachtungsaufenthalt gewählt, um eine Abendankunft mit Fähren von einer der Inseln und das frühe Morgenfähre zu einem anderen am nächsten Tag zu erleichtern. Ein früherer Aufenthalt, vor ein paar Jahren, war enttäuschend, aber es war am besten unser Ziel diese Zeit um so gebucht. Ich freue mich, zu berichten, dass die negativen, die während unserer vorangegangenen Reise gefunden wurden, in positive umgewandelt. Englischsprachige Empfangsrezeption, Hilfe mit Gepäck und ein großes Frühstück serviert in der Zeit, um den Morgenfähre zu fangen. Schnell check in und aus - alles, was wir ohne Probleme reserviert haben - große Lage für schnellen Zugang zu den Fähren ohne die Notwendigkeit von Taxis und natürlich in der Nähe des Hafens, gut gelegen für Geschäfte und Restaurants für Abendvergnügung.

We had originally been planning to stay for 6 nights, then move on to Guayaquil for 4 nights but were advised against travel to anywhere outside the airport by the UK government. We decided to extend our stay at Royal Palm instead and were so glad we did. From the moment we arrived until we left we were made to feel most welcome, and were looked after so well. Particular thanks go to Alejandro for helping us to arrange an amazing day trip to Santa Fe island during the extended part of our stay, and to Rita, Gustavo and Danny in the restaurant. Cristina, the Sales manager who I had been in touch with prior to our visit had arranged a 5 day tour package which was really great. There was one day when we were due to leave the hotel early in the morning for a tour, but the restaurant opened 15 minutes early for us so that we could get breakfast before we left which we really appreciated. The hotel was not too busy and in fact restoration work is going on, but it was not obtrusive in any way. There were a couple of largish tour groups which came in during our stay, and the only downside to this was that the tour director of one of them insisted on his group meeting in the bar at 1845 each evening of their 4 nights there for a briefing which was very loud and meant that nobody apart from them could use the bar so we had to sit inside the restaurant in order to have a drink and a quiet game of cards. The weather at the hotel is a little different to that experienced at the coast, but that is due to the fact that the hotel is up in the cloud forest, and actually meant that it was not too hot. We did have a problem one night when the AC developed a fault but that was fixed as soon as it could be - it took a day or two but the staff sorted us out with a fan in the interim - and normal service was resumed again. I cannot emphasise enough how good the staff were from our arrival to our departure. The food in the restaurant was excellent - no complaints at all. Breakfast was good- some days when there were more people staying at the hotel there was a buffet, otherwise order from the menu. We stopped on the way from the airport to the hotel at a site called Los Gemelos (see photo) and walked through the Scalesia forest where we saw twin volcanic craters which were just incredible. What a way to start the visit! We were very lucky to be given an upgrade to an incredible villa - it even had a sauna inside, although we didn't actually use it. We had a lovely surprise from the hotel on our 32nd wedding anniversary - we had been out all day on a tour to Bartoleme island and returned to the hotel absolutely buzzing at the sights we had seen and found that they had put a lovely tray of fruits, dessert and a drink out for us along with a very thoughtfully hand written card signed from the team. Glückliche und hilfsbereite Eigentümer (Amanda) & Familie. Nicht viel Englisch gesprochen (Bar Sergey, als er da war, und ein anderes Mädchen auf der Rezeption, die wir nur einmal getroffen haben) so ohne einige Spanisch kann es Missverständnisse geben. Das Internet war schlecht (allgemeines Problem in Galapagos, denke ich) und verursachte Probleme bei der Zahlung der Rechnung, weil es in der Mitte der Transaktion mit CC fehlgeschlagen und wir endlich die Zahlung verdoppelt. Um fair zu sein, ging Amanda direkt zur Bank, um zu stornieren, sobald wir es entdeckten - Geld war in einer Woche wieder in unserem A/C oder so. Die meisten Zimmer sind gut mit unspottbaren Fliesenboden - wir endeten mit Probenahme 3 verschiedene Zimmer in unserem 4-Nacht-Unterkunft (1 Nacht und dann 3 weitere nach einer Lücke von wenigen Tagen). Einer im 1. Stock am Hintergrund des Gebäudes war ein großes Zimmer mit mini-Kitchen inkl. Dusche, Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle, aber wurde von nahe angrenzenden Eigenschaften übersehen, so dass wir nur Gräber geschlossen, die es für die meisten Zeit ein wenig gebläht machten. Das Equiv Zimmer im 3. Stock, das wir für ein paar Nächte hatten, war ein gutes Zimmer. Zwei Zimmer auf der oberen Etage (4.), die wir für eine Nacht hatten, war klein, aber gab Ihnen einfachen Zugang zu der grauen Dachterrasse, die einige Stuhl hatten, die wir gewöhnt haben, ein Bier und einige Snacks, die die Sonne abschneiden. Alle Zimmer, die wir geblieben haben, waren laut, aber - wahrscheinlich für viele der Puerto Ayora Unterkunft - kontinuierliche Autos in C Seymour, Hunde, Cockerels von 4 oder sogar früher, Wasserpumpen usw. usw. nicht das Beste, wenn Sie ein leichter Schlafer sind. Normalerweise haben wir die Fenster offen gelassen - sie schließen hilf mir ein wenig, aber nicht viel. Das Frühstück war vernünftig - nicht in einem Buffet gelagert, sondern auf Anfrage gebracht. Frisches Obstsaft, Eier wie Sie wollen, Brot/Toast, Kaffee/Tee, Obst, wenn Sie es beantragt. Insgesamt waren sie zufrieden genug mit dem Platz, esp Amanda & Personal und würde wieder bleiben, aber nicht im Zimmer im ersten Stock und ich würde gute Ohrschleifen bringen.

Das Hotel ist recht zufriedenstellend. Der Service der Rezeptionistin ist sehr enthusiastisch und ihr Englisch ist auch gut. Eine Mahlzeit, um die umliegenden Attraktionen und Unterhaltungsprojekte vorzustellen. Kann bei der Einführung von Reisebüros helfen. Die Preise und Leistungen sind relativ zuverlässig. Die Hotelumgebung ist sehr stilvoll und es ist sehr komfortabel, im kleinen Innenhof zu übernachten. Der einzige Fehler ist, dass das Zimmer durchschnittlich ist. Eher der Standard eines heimischen Drei-Sterne-Hotels. Aber sehr sauber. Das Hotel beinhaltet Frühstück. Jeden Morgen serviere ich Sie direkt ohne sich wiederholende Gerichte. sehr zufrieden.
