We have just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at the Blue Ivy Hotel and Suites in Protaras, which we all thoroughly enjoyed and I have to say this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Where to begin, the staff are very friendly and can't do enough to assist you, we didn't come across anyone who didn't seem happy to help us. I don't like to single anyone out as they were all fantastic but I must thank David on reception, who after a long days travelling, arriving late in the evening, was a helpful, friendly face. He gave us all the ins and outs of the hotel, concisely and simply which got us off to a good start. You never normally see the hotel management while you are away, however Mr Nicos the general manager is a very visible presence in the hotel, which was good to see. He was on site everyday and took time to make sure you were happy with everything and that you were enjoying your stay. Very hands on management, which I thought was good to see and he is a nice guy to boot. The rooms and the hotel itself are spotlessly clean (our room was side facing with a partial see view). There are 2 pools, one designated adults only (which is a bonus if you are a bit kid phobic like we are), with plenty of sunbeds and a good outside bar. The girls on the trip found the Pina Coladas to be the best they tasted all week. The food is excellent and different each evening, with themed nights, we especially liked the Asian night. There is plenty of choice and everyone should be able to find something they like. Breakfast is plentiful with good selection of everything you could want. both hot and cold. The hotel bar is nice, with a spacious outside seating area and the drinks prices are reasonable compared to the general bars in the area. One bonus we found was that as returning guests we were given a 15% discount on food and drinks throughout our stay which was a nice touch. On arrival there was a bottle of wine in our room and each evening the rooms are turned down and a little gift left, which again is a nice touch. All in all the 4 of us couldn't fault anything about the hotel or staff and we will definitely be returning as we had such a good time. If you do get chance give the Blue Ivy a try.

A 10 day stay from Oct 7 bed & breakfast, most important thing the weather was great 29c + every day. Don't always believe the internet wether websites, we had a late Check in, my room & key card waiting for me at reception no passports or documents to show nothing to sign simple, my room was on 4th floor, the bathroom a little small but perfectly clean & adequate for our needs, beds were comfortable and House keeping every day and very clean too, no kitchen just a kettle, the safe was also included most other hotels charge for this, The breakfast was great I couldn't fault it excellent choice from hot stuff to cold meats and cheeses to yogurts & fruit, cake, mini croissants with chocolate sauce, cereal, and all your bread and jams the list goes on, if we had had to go out and buy breakfast it would almost probably be over 150 EUR for Both of us for our stay so can't complain, we didn't dine at the hotel in the evening so i can't comment on that. The pool area was most impressive however I thought the pool bar was a little expensive for food & drinks ( there was a McDonald's right opposite the hotel) yet again most people would put there towels on the sun loungers but I only used the pool area a few times, The sea was absolutely amazing so warm it was very busy and couldn't always get a lounger or umbrella €2.50 for each you had to get there early, the location of the hotel was perfect probably 8min walk to the beach, the complex was ideal for people with mobility issues with ramps and 2 elevators one small and a much larger one big enough for a wheelchair, also mobility scooter were available to hire but not sure from the hotel though. Had a lovely holiday, I thought mostly suited for older couples and families if you want a more lively holiday with clubs and more bars and are much younger 18+ go to ayia Napa area much more lively I think, great restaurants which are fairly priced good sized portions,if you go self catering there was a Lidl (not far to walk ) I thought a little expensive compared to the UK, there were plenty of other supermarkets The best buy was pretty reasonable, especially for some alcoholic drinks they even offer to open the bottles for you if you want, oh and cigarettes from € 4 a pack The area of protaras was a little run down and needs a bit of attention especially the pavement areas so do be careful a very good bus service ran so you can explore future if you want, I would return to the hotel again and think it was great value for money.

Wir waren zum dritten Mal in Protaras und zum erten Mal in Protaras und das Cavo Maris ist eindeutig unser Lieblingshotel geworden, so dass wir, wenn möglich im kommenden Jahr mit Kindern und Enkeln gerne wieder kommen. Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön und obwohl Zypern im Gegensatz zum Oktober 2020 voll war, konnte man am Cavo Maris Beach Hotel in Ruhe entspannen, schwimmen und schnorcheln. Pool und Kinderpool sind recht groß, so dass man dort nicht nur planschen, sondern auch schwimmen kann. Am Pool sind gute Duschen und auf dem Weg vom Strand dorthin Vorrichtungenzum Füße duschen. Das Personal in allen Bereichen des Hotels, sei es an der Rezeption, im Restaurant oder im sonstigen Service war immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, so dass man sich immer willkommen fühlte. Beim Frühstück haben uns vor allem die kalten Dinge, z.B. sehr leckeres Brot, leckerer Joghurt, Trockenobst , Müsli, kleine Kuchen, Kekse sehr gut geschmeckt. Abends war die Auswahl nicht so groß wie in eingen anderen großen Hotels, die wir kennen, wir haben aber immer etwas gefunden, was uns gut schmeckte und es gab auch jeden Abend andere Speisen. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen so dass wir den großzügigen Parkplatz als sehr positiv empfanden. Das kleine Heimatmuseum, welches sich auf dem Gelände des Parkplatzes befindet, ist ebenfalls einen Besuch wert.

My wife and I stayed at Amanti during mid october to celebrate our honeymoon and we had an unforgettable experience. The staff promptly welcomed us on arrival and from airport pickup to room check in the process was seamless. Delicious welcome drinks were provided while we waited which is always a nice touch. The reception discussed our half board plan and we were given our room information. It was late at night on our arrival and we had missed dinner so we were given a voucher for a meal credit. We were not given a tour of the property, although this was most likely because it was after 10pm and dark so no complaints there. Upon arrival to our room we were pleasantly surprised with a VIP ******* upgrade that gave us an ocean view. We were also left a lovely surprise of love dove shaped towels, rose petals, champagne, heart shaped dessert, and a card for our honeymoon. A warm touch that made us feel extra special. Since we also missed dinner, we were given two plates of lovely little sandwiches. Throughout our stay we visited all of the restaurants-- the main buffet, and the 3 themed restaurants which are serviced with a Michelin star chef. The atmosphere of each restaurant is very romantic and chic. The food at each restaurant, yes even the buffet, was to die for. Absolutely incredible. Creative, tasty, and high quality with stunning presentations. The pool area is large, clean, and has full service with the option of a little service button which we thought was very handy, great idea. The sun beds are of your choosing on the first day and then reserved for you for the rest of your stay, another clever idea. The surrounding location of the hotel is safe and walkable, good for families, couples, and solo travelers. There is convenient access to multiple shops, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and only 7 minutes to the beach. The highlight of this hotel however, is the service. The service is absolutely 5 star service. We felt exceptionally welcomed and taken care of at each meal. The dining staff, hostesses, chefs, the guest services, the gentleman at the pool, all take their jobs with the utmost honor and do a wonderful job ensuring the perfect stay for the guests. Our only complaint, and it is a mild complaint, I really would only remove half a star for this.. Is that with half board, you can choose whether you want lunch or dinner as your second meal. However-- if you choose lunch, you can only go to the buffet as the other restaurants are not open. You cannot choose to have lunch or drinks by the pool. That is a separate charge, not included as an option in half board and it is quite expensive. Since this is a tropical beach vacation spot, most people want to relax and have lunch and drinks by the pool. This should be an option for half board, if we wanted to have lunch, we would have to get dressed and leave the pool to go upstairs and eat during prime pool hours (12:30-2:30) when the buffet is open. Offiziell hat das Hotel keine Sterne, sondern ist als Boutique Hotel gelistet. Nach innerfamiliärer Diskussion würden wir dem Hotel 5 Sterne geben (ich war für 4+). Essen (HP) war sehr gut vom Buffet, sehr frisch, der Service war exzellent. Die Lage ist einalig, außerhalb der Altstadt, direkt vor der Geisterstadt Varosha, die man tagsüber besuchen darf. Interessant! (Natürlich aucht traurig). Direkt am Strand. Zu Fuß bis in die Altstadt ca. 20 Minuten. Der einzige Haken: Zimmer mit Gartenblick sind Zimmer mit Parkplatzblick; und da das ****** im Erdgeschoss 24 Stunden offen ist, ist auch immer Verkehr.

Das Hotel liegt perfekt wenige Gehminuten zum Türkis blauen Meer, wenige Gehminuten in die ”Stadt”, viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Straße zum Feiern ist ebenso problemlos zu erreichen in wenigen Minuten am Partyparadies. Das Hotel ist äußerst sauber und die Zimmer total in Ordnung. Das Putzpersonal ist sehr freundlich und macht einen super Job! Die Hotelanlage fand ich wunderschön, der Pool ist angenehm zum planschen und schwimmen, es gibt sogar eine Poolbar an der man auch sehr gut verweilen kann. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist riesig und sehr lecker, generell die Speisen auch aus den Menü Karten sind absolut lecker, auch wenn ein paar Euro teurer. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und aufmerksam da war ich ziemlich erstaunt und das hat definitiv auch zu einem sehr gelungenen Aufenthalt im Faros Hotel geführt. Liebe Grüße an Neda, Margarita, Magda und Filko und danke für eure super Arbeit, es hat sehr Spaß gemacht und hoffentlich sehen wir uns bald wieder in Ayia Napa. Tolles Hotel sehr sauber top Lage super freundliches personal und Jurgita an der Rezeption ist sehr höflich und hat uns in allem weitergeholfen ob es ein Trip oder ein Mietwagen oder nur ein Restaurant sein soll war sie für uns immer da . Amazing nice staff, comfy bed, lush hotel and pool, great rooms, helpful staff and great help and cleaners, had an amazing time and had the best stay. It’s central to a lot of places, beaches and restaurants as well as the lovely food in the hotel.

Wir waren diesen Monat zweimal im Hotel. Das erste Mal mit meinem Mann und wir waren im Flügel nur für Erwachsene und das zweite Mal jetzt 3 Tage mit unseren Babys. Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr guten Gegend, unser Zimmer war Superior und war neu, sauber und geräumig. Die Pools sind groß, sehr praktisch für jemanden mit kleinen Babys und direkt nebenan ist der Strand des Hotels. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und höflich. Der einzige Nachteil für mich ist, dass wir einige Stunden lang keinen Parkplatz finden konnten, besonders wenn wir spät in der Nacht zurückkehrten. Ansonsten kann ich es sehr empfehlen und wir werden es wieder besuchen!
