Overall had a great 6 days here, staying in a 1 bed apartment with 1 adult and 2 kids. I did ask for twin beds when booked but ended up with a double. Wasnt fussed enough to ask to be moved. The apartment building was separate from the main building but this wasn't a problem. Its just over the road. Everything in the apartment was in working order although quite noisy early mornings with cleaners. Lots of banging and scraping of furniture along tiled floors above our apartment. Not a lot of Utensils in the apartment either. No sharp knife or sieve etc. We just had baguettes and cheese etc but if you're wanting to cook meals then could be a problem. Pool area big enough, never too busy, nice grassed area away from the pool if you don't want to get splashed by kids. Good selection of cafe type food. Lots of different drinks available. There is a large cupboard of books you can read or leave yours there for others. Staff all lovely and really helpful. Location is a little out of the way. I knew that when booked. Aldi and Lidl supermarkets only a 10 min walk so handy to nip out for morning pastries, but a bit too far to head out in the evenings for food unless you get a taxi. It is walkable, about 20 mins but not the nicest of walks along main roads. Free shuttle bus to beach and town very convenient in the day but be good if they provided a later one back than 16:00. Definatley value for money for a cheaper end summer holiday get away. I would happily stay here again with the kids.

Read some mixed reviews before coming but we were very happy. Room was large, hotel was clean and staff very friendly. The hotel is about 15 mins walk to the resort and the town however half way through the holiday we discovered the Ubers are very cheap!!! £3.50 per ride. Towels weren’t changed every day but I agreed with this. I would wash them daily at home!

Great hotel room spacious all you need comfy bed and so quiet !!! Be sure speak to Ali and Sonia in bar very nice people. Snack bar cheap and good , must the boat trip to caves €30 pick up hotel spectacular . Close to beach and town , great food restaurants in both areas

Arrived to early to enter the room, was told to go back at 2pm. Was advised there was safe place to keep cases and feel free to use the bar and restaurant. which we did and prices were very reasonable £3 a pint of beer, you could get anything from beers, ciders cocktails and soft drinks all again reasonably priced. Food also reasonably priced and tasty Went back to reception at 2pm as told room and room was ready, was in room 303. A one bedroom apartment, nicely presented and spotlessly clean, large lounge with dining table large sofa bed and small kitchenette with everything you need from toasters kettles hobs to cook and a microwave. large bedroom with ample sized built in wardrobe, dressing table and large double bed (only complaint was the mattress was rock hard) bathroom had a shower over bath but water pressure was superb and again spotless. Room was cleaned daily and fresh towels everyday big up to the girls doing the rooms, never an issue. balcony was long a bit narrow but still good sized, only complaint was a fully grown tree as a view if it wasn't there u would see the sea as it was we had small side sea view. Pool area ample sized looks small but always plenty beds and clean again can't really fault it the location is up the hill out the road, only noise was barking dogs day and night but that's not the hotels fault. there is a lidl down the hill in walking distance, but the main strip is about a 25 min walk but only 3-4 pounds in a taxi, plenty shops, restaurants and pubs. had a great holiday here, was there for 7 days absolutely no complaints, all staff were superb nothing to much for them wouldn't hesitate in going back, should be more stars to what it is.

Won’t go over what others have said yes is a walk to places but is doable, we just found it difficult to be spontaneous and stop back at hotel mid day. Hotel is clean, our apartment was large and well equipped just a few bits of kitchen stuff extra would be nice. Cleaning seemed to be a bit sporadic, bits and pieces cleaned but not the full apartment at times. Room had a hair dryer and there is an iron in the luggage room in reception to use. We didn’t use the pool I felt it was a bit cramped around it and no parasols. Bar served good cheap drinks and service was very good, take some Cash if buying anything under €5. The Contiente supermarket is a 10 minute walk and much better than the Aldi and Lidl. Bus stop around the corner goes to Alvor and Praia du Vao. The walk to the beach is much easier if you turn right from the hotel some nice restaurants down that way; Namaste and Urban Grill, you reach the beach at Cloque which is a beautiful spot to take the full sunset in and enjoy a cocktail.
