Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen. Es gab keine Wasserversorgung im Zimmer und keine Stromversorgung im Gemeindebereich (was bedeutet keine Aufzug) für unsere letzte Nacht. Wir müssen unsere schweren Gepäck auf die Treppen abnehmen, um herauszuchecken. Der Empfänger versprach, das Geld für letzte Nacht zurückzuzahlen, aber unser Buchungsagent sagte, das Hotel ist nicht erreichbar, da sie nie auf Telefongespräche oder E-Mails antworten, so dass unsere Rückzahlungsanfrage noch in Betracht gezogen ist. Das Hotel hat sich verpflichtet, sofort unsere Rückzahlung vorzunehmen, aber das ist natürlich nicht der Fall. Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht über meinen Aufenthalt.

I don’t even know where to start. Residence Inn at Marriot Playa Del Carmen has to be on of my pleasant hotel experiences ever. Starting from the positive vibe you feel as soon as you enter the premises all the way to when you checkout, they make you feel like a truly valued guest. Staff Everyone keeps smiling at you and they always try their best to accommodate your requests. Willy(security) was always there to assist whenever we arrived at the hotel. He was very professional and knowledgeable of the area, so he could put you on the right track regardless of which destination you were trying to get to. Gabriela (front desk) was super pleasant to work with during our check-in, when we had to extend our stay and every others time we had to request assistance from her. She always had a smile on her face and truly made us feel welcome. Cleanness The hotel appears to be brand new, with modern amenities and great décor. They keep all the common areas squeaky clean. I had to work from my room, so oftentimes when Domingo and Paulina came by to clean the room, I was in the middle of a meeting, but they never gave up on me and kept coming back until they made sure my room was clean on daily basis. Amenities Considering it is a hotel, they have an amazing gym and rooftop pool. I was hesitant about working out there at first when I made a reservation, but after seeing the equipment, size and clean environment they have at the gym, I actually looked forward to working out in the mornings. Food They serve decent breakfast(included) in the mornings between 7 to 10 am. They also have a specious dining area, so you will never have an issue finding a table. Waiters are also amazing, they try everything they can to make sure you have a pleasant dining experience. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will be back!

This place is nowhere near Paradise! Nightmare is far more like it. Let's start with the room inclusion list: Blackout curtains - YES; Air conditioning - YES; Desk - YES but I had to use the desk for my suitcase as there was nowhere else to put; Private balcony - YES there was a balcony but private? NO! All balconies had full sight of every other balcony left and right; Safe - YES; Refrigerator - NO; Flatscreen TV - YES; Complimentary toiletries - YES I suppose so, if you count two different sample size types of soap and two shower caps; Telephone - NO; Bottled water - NO. I will add to the list - Towels - YES but please see photo of the towel I was provided; Bath Mat - NO; Hand Towel - NO; Cups or Glasses - NO and was told at Reception when checking in that they don't provide either of those or water! However we were advised that we couldn't drink the tap water and told that we could walk a block to buy some water! Breakfast - now this was a doozy! Some sort of cordial water and Americano coffee were included but if you wanted milk you had to pay extra! There were three included options - scrambled eggs (not served with anything else), mixed potatoes and beans or fruit platter. I ordered the fruit platter which was served with a slice of toast, no butter and two tiny pieces of watermelon, two small slices of banana and two tiny pieces of paw paw. See pic which shows the fruit platter served on a dinner plate. They also have the hide to say there is a restaurant on site! More like a third rate cafeteria. The room itself was old and had quite a bit of damage to tiles, walls etc. It was very dark as the lighting was extremely poor. Some of the furniture was broken and the small night light was enclosed in a plastic case that was broken with wires on display! This is probably a place for backpackers who are happy to rough it - not for people who are used to a far better standard. We had been in Mexico for two weeks by the time we arrived at the nightmare, and at every other hotel, there were people to help with suitcases. Not here, just one person on duty for the whole hotel! The only good thing about the place was when we were leaving, there were two women cleaners who offered to help us (two women in their 70s) with carrying our suitcases down two long flights of stairs. We were very grateful and think, and are happy about it, that perhaps the tip we gave them was about a week's wages!

Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, Einkaufsstraße ist in der Nähe, 5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Strand, es ist ruhig mitten im Trubel, wurde an Freunde empfohlen, die Abtrennung des Balkons ist am besten matt isoliert Wenn die Anforderungen an westliches Essen nicht so hoch sind, ist dieses Frühstücksbuffet noch in Ordnung. Der Kellner ist sehr nett. Ich werde die Initiative ergreifen, um Sie um Getränke und Kaffee zu bitten, und ich werde es für Sie übernehmen. Kann ich natürlich auch selber nehmen. Ich liebe westliches Frühstück, also fühlt es sich sehr zufrieden an?

Das Resort ist ein Traum. Wir haben 2 Wochen dort verbracht und jeden Tag sehr genossen. Es ist unweit der Hauptstrasse mit allen Attraktionen und Nachtclubs angelegt und trotzdem findet man seine Ruhe. Die Zimmer sind schön, es hat alles was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Der Roomservice ist sehr dezent und geht auf alle Wünsche ein. Die Hängematten mit Blick auf den grünen palmengesäumten Garten ist ein Traum. Die Restaurantbedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und bietet einen tollen Service. An meinem Geburtstag gab es einen schön dekorierten Kuchen und ein kleines Ständchen von der Musikgruppe. Der Strandzugang ist bewacht und sehr gepflegt und wer sich darüber aufregt, dass es am Wochenende voll ist mit Mexikanern, sollte sich vielleicht mal daran erinnern, dass wir nur zu Besuch sind und die Dinge so hinnehmen sollten wie sie sind. Wir haben uns immer wohl gefühlt und konnten unsere Zweisamkeit vollends geniessen. Die Preise sind okay und dass noch zusätzliches Trinkgeld gegeben werden kann, finde ich völlig in Ordnung. Jeder entscheidet selbst, nur ist guter Service heutzutage keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr und so haben wir gerne etwas dazugegeben. Wir werden wieder kommen, eines Tages!

This was our second vacation trip to the Xcaret Mexico hotel. We really enjoyed the ”ALL fun inclusive” experience, with exclusive transportation and access to ALL Xcaret group parks. We were a family group of 5 rooms, with combination of adults, and adults/children in several of the rooms/suites. We had two concierge services representatives (K.C. and Laura), and they were very attentive and accommodating to our needs, requiring two suite changes to better suit our needs. They also helped us with the restaurants' and parks' reservations (for those which required it), and also with the wheel chair arrangements for my mother-in-law. The restaurants are big, and even though the hotel was fully occupied, we did not feel crowded or had to make lines to enter the restaurants. A most do is the Sunday brunch at the ”Las Cuevas” restaurant. Their meat and seafood offerings were way above what I was expecting, with even a Tuna processing experience made by the chef, ending in a delicious Tuna tartar appetizer. My wife is FULLY vegan (I am not), and we went to their vegan restaurant ”Bio”, and were able to taste almost ALL of their breakfast and lunch menu offerings, with every one having its own palate pleasing taste. Add to that their freshly pressed juices shots, and specialty frozen shakes. By the third day, Xiomara greeted us by our names, and waiter Edgar had known what we already tasted, and ”took care” of us. Kudos to both of them, for understanding and living a true ”costumer service”. This hotel is so well designed, that even there were live bands throughout the lobby and infinity pool areas, the volume was not overwhelming, and you can relax at another area, without it bothering you. Each restaurant had some special drinks, which you can enjoy, so make sure you ask the waiter for the ”special cocktail” of the day. We witnessed two ”destination weddings”, and the open area activities did no interfere with our time to enjoy the hotel amenities, so thank you for that. We even enjoyed another ”shot” of ”free” mariachi's songs while walking near them. On Sunday, we were able to enjoy catholic Sunday mass at the Xpiral chapel. All in all, my family and us had a blast, with ”not enough time” reviews from each and every one of them. We plan on coming back and visit some of the park attractions we did not have time to try, as well as enjoy again the amenities this hotel has to offer its guests. The weather was hot and humid, as it has been in every place in the world at this latitute. Be prepared and drink lots of water! ¡Muchas gracias por poner sus corazones al servicio de sus huéspedes! Dies ist der beste Wert in Playa Del Carmen. Der beste Bang für den Buck besonders, wenn Sie auf dieser App buchen. Gutes Essen. Steak Restaurant ist auch großartig. Alles ist sauber und modern, auch wenn nicht das neueste Hotel. Hier geht es uns zum Hotel. Nur Beschwerde ist sie unterbrochen einschließlich der Premium Tequila (Don Julio) in der gesamten inklusive

Wir waren unglaublich enttäuscht über dieses Hotel, es sieht 5 Sternen aus, aber die Erfahrung ist nicht. Wir blieben im Juli 2024. Auf der Eincheckung dauerte der gesamte Prozess über eine Stunde, weil sie unsere Buchung für August abgelegt hatten...nicht für Juli. Das war endlich gelöst und wir wurden für ein paar Stunden einen „vorübergehenden“ Raum gegeben. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt waren wir verstanden - diese Dinge passieren und sie bieten eine Lösung. Der Mann auf der Kontrolle war angenehm, aber unglaublich langsam. Wir haben 4 Nächte geblieben und es gibt keinen Zweifel, dass die Lage wunderbar ist und die Zimmer waren wunderschön - obwohl das Frühstück (einschließlich) war grausam und fehlte an den Grundstücken. Brötchen, aber kein Butter oder Schalen usw., wir mussten jedes Mal und oft mehr als ein Mitarbeiter fragen, um es zu bekommen - oft über 20 Minuten. Einen Tag gab es überhaupt kein Buffet, aber niemand konnte erklären, warum. Sie konnten 2 von den 3 verbleibenden Gerichten im Menü bestellen, aber Sie wurden nur eine pro Person erlaubt. Ich hatte Pancakes, aber dann hatte ich das gleiche Fiasko, dass sie mit keinem Sirup kamen und ich musste 2 Mitarbeiter fragen und warten 20 Minuten, um es endlich zu erhalten. Am Samstag Abend haben wir dort geblieben, das Hotel beschlossen, eine Party bis 2.00 Uhr zu werfen.... Unglücklicherweise wurden die Gäste nicht eingeladen oder informiert, so dass wir für mehrere Stunden in unserem Zimmer wach gehalten. Ich ging zur Rezeption, um sich zu beschweren und wurde einem Manager gesagt, dass er morgens mit mir reden würde.. unnötig zu sagen, dass sie nicht. Die Adresse der Hotels ist in der Nähe von der Stadt. Wenn sie Hotelgäste eingeladen und ein Getränk im Haus oder etwas entlang dieser Linien angeboten hätten, wäre es viel sinnvoller. Die gesamte Erfahrung war völlig bizarr und nicht wert der Preis, den sie bezahlten. Ich würde diese Art von Service von einem günstigen örtlichen Gasthaus erwarten, nicht einem 5-Sterne-Resort. Das Personal war überhaupt nicht unbehaglich, aber schlecht organisiert und fehlt an grundlegender Kommunikation.
