I have just returned from a holiday at Checkin Pineda with my children, which was most disappointing. 1) The restaurant did not meet the legal hygiene requirements- despite me speaking to the head chef, receptionists, restaurant staff. My son has severe nut allergies and it was not safe for him. I had to pay to eat in restaurants outside, for lunch breakfast and dinner. 2) Our room did not have towels for 3 days 3) The hotel charges us for drinks after 11pm - the same drinks we had during the day. 4) They would not show me which oil they used to cook - so i could not guarantee my son was safe. They allowed a man to have a dog on a seat, in the restaurant. I spoke to the staff regarding my son's allergies to animals and they would not remove the dog. We had to leave after queing for 30 minutes. The staff were incredibly rude- specifically a woman with dark hair and lots of make up in the restaurant. some staff did not speak english or spanish. It was impossible to get a bed by the pool and the pool was dirty - i asked to see a report of the Chemicals, as i have a hot tub at home. They refused to show me. My sons could not go in the pool. We contacted representative at the resort , but they were unable to resolve the matter and advised us to complain upon our return home. The quality of the beds were poor - very poor. We had to change our key 6 times as they did not work.
