Holbein House

We've just returned from our stay at Holbein House and I'm already looking at when I can visit again! We had such a comfortable stay. The house is gorgeous, and the owners made us feel very welcome and gave us recommendations of local places to visit and eat and drink. The breakfasts were delicious too - Thank you! We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Excellent B&B , spotlessly clean , exceptionally friendly hosts and a great location … for the rugby ! And the town of Penzance . Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful guesthouse in a great location in Penzance - only 5 mins walk into town and some lovely restaurants and pubs nearby. We had a very smooth and easy booking and check in, was shown to a beautiful spacious room. Everything was spotless and we had a good nights sleep. Beautiful breakfast the next morning. Would recommend to anyone.

Stayed for 3 nights and could not have been made to feel anymore welcome. Superb full English breakfast , the room was beautiful, lovely & warm. The location is great, just off the seafront, we were able to park right outside for free. Easy to get to Mousehole. Marazion, St Ives and the surrounding area Elvis ( the golden retriever ) is a superstar. Our expectations were exceeded everywhere !

Fantastic stay at this beautiful B&B in Penzance. Superb location to explore SW Cornwall. Breakfast was spot on and freshly prepared to order. Rooms spotless With comfy beds and powerful showers. We fell in love with Elvis the well behaved Golden Retriever. We will def return and bring company. A little gem in Penzance, highly recommend

The best B & B by far I have ever stayed in! I can not recommend Holbein House enough! Room was fabulous, warm and very comfortable. The hosts are lovely (particularly Elvis :-) ) The full English breakfast was beautiful and set us up for the day and location fantastic! Easy to access Marazion, Newlyn and Mousehole along with everything that Penzance has to offer. Will be back again no doubt and going to book in for the summer! Can't wait to go back!

We came here for the start of our honeymoon, we so appreciated the 5 star treatment accompanied by the lovely dog Elvis! The owners were so attentive and inviting, couldn’t fault our stay and will be recommending to others! Also the best breakfast we’ve had in a while! Yum! Thank you Holbein house!

I cannot recommend this B& B enough. Run by a wonderful couple and thier gorgeous, well behaved golden retriever who stole the show (and my son was besotted with, well actually we all were). Absolutely immaculate throughout. Their attention to detail is second to none as is their attention to thier guests needs. Very comfortable rooms, beds and amazing showers and the breakfast was incredible. I've never been to a B&B and actually not wanted to leave but I could have stayed for so much longer. If you visit, you will be warmly welcomed, looked after, be so comfortable and well fed. We will 100% be back.

Now that we have stayed at Holbein House we fully understand why they continually receive rave reviews. We had an excellent 2-night stay after completing our hike on the SWCP. Mike & Ally were brilliant hosts and the pride & professionalism they display really does stand them apart from other B&Bs. We would definitely stay again.
