I arranged four king-bed rooms at this hotel for my guests. Unfortunately, their experience at the hotel restaurant was quite unsatisfactory. During the meal, the restaurant was nearly empty, with only our table present. Despite this, service was noticeably slow and inattentive. After the starters were cleared, there was a long delay before anyone followed up regarding the main course. Even after ordering, plates were not brought in time, and the overall pace of service was unusually slow. Under such circumstances, it was difficult to understand the reason for the delay. It is a lovely place to stay. The breakfast was outstanding!!! Could do with non slip bath mats when getting out the shower. Rooms can do with more heating as it was very cold. The bed was okay could do with a more sturdy mattress. Overall experience was great and the reception ladies was amazing and friendly.

Es sollte eine Verbesserung bei der Angabe, dass der Shuttle-Service mit einem zusätzlichen Kosten kommt; es sollte als Option angekündigt werden, da die meisten Aufenthalte Shuttle-Services zu einem zusätzlichen Kosten anbieten. Der Preis war 200Rand, und ein Uber ist günstiger. Die Empfangsperson war sehr hilfreich und klar; sie war super schön.

Ich wusste, dass die Rezeption um 11 Uhr abläuft, aber ich habe schon eine E-Mail-Anweisung gegeben: Ich bin um 11 Uhr gelandet und um 12 Uhr gekommen. Sie wissen es, aber es gibt noch keine. Ich wartete lange, der Fahrer kam zurück, bevor er die Tür aufbrachte. Zuerst wollte der Fahrer mir die Tür nicht geben. Ich wollte mich mit 200 Lant zum Abendessen verpflichten. Dies ist die Kosten, die ich nicht wusste, und ich habe es nicht bei Trip.com angemeldet. Am zweiten Tag zum Flughafen, um den Bus zu fahren, hatte ich keine Zeit zum Frühstück. Eine nicht angenehme Aufenthaltserfahrung!

Exzellent!! Das war so bequem! Sie haben zu jeder Tageszeit einen kostenlosen Flughafentransfer. Die Angestellten sind so freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Zimmer ist perfekt!

Review for OR Tambo Guest House I recently stayed at OR Tambo Guest House for three nights and had a great experience. Since my flight arrived very late at night, the staff kindly suggested a driver to pick me up, which was incredibly thoughtful and made my arrival stress-free. The guest house was impeccably clean (5/5), and the service was excellent (5/5) – the staff was friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout my stay. The location was convenient (4/5), being close to the airport, though not much else is within walking distance. The amenities were decent (4/5), offering all the basics I needed for a comfortable stay. While the aesthetic wasn’t my favorite (3/5), it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Breakfast had limited options, but I wasn’t upset about it – it was enough to start the day. Overall, it’s an affordable place to stay, offering great value for the price. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and convenient spot near OR Tambo Airport.

Nur ein sauberer, respektabler, Arbeitsplatz brauchte, um nahe am Flughafen Joburg zu bleiben. Der Preis war sehr gut. Ich brauchte kein fantastisches Hotel. Fair breakfast inbegriffen. Sehr ruhiger Bereich. Wenn Sie länger bleiben, gibt es Bänke mit Tische, um einfach zu kühlen, ein Buch lesen, arbeiten entfernt usw. ... Sie waren ein wenig grummig, als ich nach 11am Check-out-Stunden ins Zimmer eine schnelle Dusche gebeten habe ... Aber es ist verständlich. Ich blieb ca. 20 Minuten. Ich würde es nicht empfehlen.

The place was very affordable, very clean, and very accommodating. I was traveling alone and was kind of scared, but the driver made me feel really safe - he was so chatty and nice, LOL. The room is beautiful, and everything was just great. PS: when you book, you also get the shuttle service; forgot to do it but they came to fetch me anyway, which was really nice of them, thank God!

The staff were very friendly and they were kind to attend to my needs to make sure that it was comfortable. The breakfast was great and they even prepared it in advance when i left at 5am since my flight was early in the morning. The environment is serene and quiet for a good rest.
