GGastnutzerPositive: The room was ok clean. We had a good sleep. The working desk was really nice, the wifi okish. The airport shuttle was also nice.
Negative: No coffee provided and the swimming trunks from someone before left in the bathroom. We called the reception and they told us, that someone would show up to bring coffee and remove the swimming trunk. But nothing happened. Besides of this, this hotel is not well maintained. There are holes in the gangway - It's better not to look too closely.
All in all its totally overpriced, but there are not so many option that close to the airport. 🤷♀️

GGastnutzerAls wir am 10. Februar um 10 Uhr ankamen, gab es ein freundliches Personal (ein schwarzer Mann) uns willkommen. Leider erinnere ich mich nicht an seinen Namen jetzt. Das Hotel bot kostenloses Shuttle zum/von dem Flughafen. Aber der Flughafen Miami ist sehr besetzt, so dass Sie die Fluglärm am Abend hören können. Die Hoteldekoration ist ok und relativ sauber.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, but it actually takes a 20-minute detour by car to get there. It's not easy to find because they changed their name to Holiday Inn Express without any clear notification.
Breakfast:
The breakfast area was under renovation, so breakfast had to be taken in the lobby area between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the first day, then it changed to 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM without any notice. The breakfast options were limited: eggs, steak-like items that resembled cardboard, milk cartons, juice, coffee, and bread.
Dining Options:
There are no dining options at the hotel. You have to take an Uber or use Uber Eats to get food, as there are no nearby restaurants, just other hotels. The ongoing renovations meant no restaurant or bar was available on-site.
Rooms:
The rooms are spacious and I loved the sitting area. There are two TVs in the room, and the bathroom is perfect. However, like many American hotels, there were no toothbrush options and no hand showers.
Staff:
The staff were very professional and kind. I appreciated not having to present a credit card since everything was paid online.
Wi-Fi:
The Wi-Fi was good, but you have to re-enter the code every day.
Overall, the Cambria Hotel (now Holiday Inn Express) has its advantages, especially with room size and staff professionalism, but there are significant inconveniences due to the renovations and lack of dining options.

Ich kam um 7:00 Uhr und fand kein Personal, keine Rezeption und keine Check-in-Anweisungen. Meine Frau und ich mussten draußen warten, bis ein anderer Gast kam und uns reinließ. Innerhalb traf ich jemanden, der ich dachte, es sei Personal, aber er war nur ein anderer Gast. Er versuchte mir zu helfen, das Hotel zu kontaktieren, aber niemand konnte auch andere Gäste erreichen.
Es gibt keine echte Lobby, nur ein Hof. Ich wartete drei Stunden draußen, bis jemand endlich antwortete. Dann wurde mir gesagt, ich konnte nicht bis 3:00 Uhr anmelden, es sei denn, ich habe $100 extra bezahlt. Das ist mehr als die meisten Hotels für die frühe Eincheckung, die etwa $20 beträgt. Ich bat um eine Erstattung, damit ich verlassen konnte sie verweigerten.
Ich habe mit dem Hausbetreiber (der einzige hilfsbereite) ohne Wahl meine Gepäckstücke verlassen und musste sechs Stunden mit meiner Frau um die Stadt gehen, bevor ich zurückkam.

GGastnutzerFor the price of this hotel, it is in an excellent location and is very clean. During our stay, there were lots of things that weren’t working or were broken in the hotel, including the key card machine, so we were only given 1 key card for a room for 3 people. In our room, the bathroom door handle had been ripped off on the inside before we got there and one of our friends got locked inside with no way out. She tried multiple times on multiple numbers for the hotel/front desk and not a single one worked. They were either in Spanish and hung up immediately or were disconnected. Luckily she was able to get in touch with us to come and let her out (she was in the room alone) but that meant travelling back to the hotel from another location. We were told by the front desk after this incident that they would come and fix the door but they never did. The washing machines were also broken so we were only given 2 towels every few days between 3 people. If there hadn’t been so many things broken, it would have been a decent stay.

GGastnutzerI wanted a hotel that would be close to airport in order to catch an early flight the next day and reasonably priced. I had just arrived back from cruise so I wouldn’t be able to check-in until 4pm. However, I explained my situation and they were able to accommodate me with an early check-in. However, there was an additional charge but I didn’t mind. Cruises arrived around 8 am so I was happy with getting a room to relax. Staff was very nice and professional. Front desk, bartenders and cleaning staff. I would definitely recommend this location.
