AAnonymer BenutzerIch habe vor kurzem im Iconic Marjorie Hotel Penang geblieben und eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung. Das Hotel hat ein modernes und stilvolles Design und alles fühlt sich neu und gut gepflegt. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und komfortabel, so dass es einen tollen Ort, um sich nach einem langen Tag zu entspannen.
Die Gäste waren freundlich und willkommen, und die Eincheckung war reibungslos und effizient. Ich genossen auch die Hoteleinrichtungen, die zu dem allgemeinen Komfort des Aufenthaltes hinzugefügt.
Die Lage ist weit von Georgetown entfernt, aber es ist ziemlich bequem, mit mehreren Restaurants und Cafés in der Nähe, so dass das Finden guter Essen war einfach. Insgesamt war es ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt und ich würde dieses Hotel definitiv jedem besuchen Penang empfehlen. Ich würde mich freuen, bei meiner nächsten Reise wieder zu kommen.

GGastnutzerPenang war eher mittelmäßig, aber dieses Hotel war ausgezeichnet. Es gibt eine Tourismussteuer von 10 MYR pro Nacht, keine Kaution erforderlich – super! Die Zimmer sind geräumig, und es gibt einen Pool und eine Sauna. Wir wollten ursprünglich in George Town übernachten, aber die besseren Hotels waren alle ausgebucht. Wir sahen Fotos von diesem Hotel und haben es stattdessen gebucht. Taxis brauchen etwa zehn Minuten. Es liegt in der Nähe des Flughafens und ist daher ideal für Familienurlaube – perfekt für Familien, deren Kinder nicht laufen wollen und deren Erwachsene sich entspannen möchten. Unten gibt es Liegestühle, sodass man sich jederzeit entspannen kann. Die Aussicht ist auch toll. Der Strand selbst ist nicht so schön, aber man kann dort spazieren gehen. Die Kinder haben sogar Einsiedlerkrebse entdeckt – und zwar wunderschöne! Es gab kleine Ameisen im Zimmer und ein paar krabbelnde Insekten auf dem Boden, was aber in Ordnung war. Der kleine Laden in der Hotellobby war ziemlich unzuverlässig; er öffnete erst spät am Morgen und schloss früh am Nachmittag und machte sogar mittags Pause. Man musste also während der Öffnungszeiten hingehen. Es gab nicht viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Fischrestaurant im Erdgeschoss war sehr günstig, und viele Einheimische aßen dort abends. Da wir sonst nirgendwo essen konnten, aßen wir zwei Abende hintereinander dort. In der Nähe gab es auch ein thailändisches Restaurant, das von Chinesen geführt wurde; wir gingen aufgrund von Bewertungen dorthin, aber es war nur mittelmäßig. Der Penang National Forest Park war meiner Meinung nach ein toller Ort. Man kann dort mit dem Boot zur Affeninsel und zur Schildkröteninsel fahren. Man kann dort problemlos einen ganzen Tag verbringen.

SSophie’s life abroadWonderful stay. The apartment was very well equipped. Lots of cleaning supplies & washing detergent. Washing machine was so useful. Room was clean and modern. Building has a good sized infinity pool with a stunning view of Queensbay. A shallow pool for kids, playground, gym, kids play room, games room & chill out area. Only thing would be to add a convenience store on the ground floor but there is one across the road & vending machines on 13th floor. Security are always onsite and so friendly so makes you feel very safe.

PPiotr PakulaI stayed here during a business trip in Penang and it was a great choice. The location is very convenient—only about 10 minutes from the airport, which made arrival and departure really easy.
The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, especially the large living room which was perfect for relaxing after work. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped with everything I needed, making the stay feel very much like home. The bed deserves a special mention—it’s honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in.
I really loved the place overall. The only small improvement I would suggest is adding a bedside or table lamp in the bedroom, as the lighting there could be a bit more cozy and practical.
Would definitely stay here again.

GGastnutzerThis accommodation is located right in front of Nasi Kandar Penang Kayu which opens 24 hours. Queensbay mall is nearby and only takes around 15 mins to the airport (subject to traffic) so as we only stayed 1 night to catch an early flight, it was convenient - location wise. No wifi provided though. Really have table tennis/ping pong table, dart games and movie (we didnt watch any) as seen on the pictures. The building is a bit outdated though. The tenant contacted us directly via Whatsapp and the explanation about the facility was very very clear and helpful.

”Our stay at Hotel Pen Mutiara was absolutely wonderful! One of the biggest highlights was the huge room we stayed in—it was incredibly spacious, making it perfect for the family, and remarkably clean from top to bottom.
The food at the on-site restaurant was delicious; we particularly loved the Ikan siakap tiga rasa, which is a must-try for anyone visiting. After our meal, we spent a relaxing afternoon by the swimming pool, which was clean and well-maintained, providing a great escape from the Penang heat.
The location is also unbeatable for sightseeing. It is located very near to the Aquarium Tunku Abdul Rahman (Fisheries Department Research Institute), which made our morning outing so convenient. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent local flavors and easy access to nearby attractions!”
