We had the most wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful lake resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, so friendly, helpful, and genuinely accommodating.
The setting is absolutely breathtaking, and the whole atmosphere of the resort is peaceful and relaxing. A perfect place to unwind and relax.
The rooms were lovely, spacious, spotless, and really comfortable, with everything we needed for a perfect break. The food was another highlight, every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. A special mention to Jeeva in the restaurant, who made our dining experience even more memorable with such attentive and warm service but all of the restaurant staff were excellent and made every meal a pleasure. Also Anju who so lovely and again very attentive but I have to say every single staff member was so pleasant, which made our stay exceptional.
Can’t recommend this gem of a place enough, we are already planning our next visit!

KKrishnaEin ruhiger Rückzug mit dem Kumakom Lake-Bereich. Das Resort verfügt über sehr aufmerksames Personal und es gibt ein bisschen zu tun und zu erkunden im Resort.
Die Bungalows sind wirklich authentisch für den traditionellen Keralitenstil. Sie kommen mit einem offenen Bad zum Himmel, das die Dusche erlebt erstaunlich erfrischend!
Ich würde es definitiv empfehlen!!

RRina LamsalVery nice property for layback family vacation. We wanted to escape the crowd during the holidays and Kumarakom was the right choice.
Staff is very helpful. Breakfast and lunch were amazing! Kerala home cooked food.
The only thing we find not convenient were no hot water for the shower and no fridge in the room. Otherwise place is very nice for couple of days.

GGastnutzerWe had two nights stay at picturesque ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGE right on the banks of the lake and were. pleasantly surprised as the nature unfolded before us.
Good location with good facilities and access to all amenities surrounded by organic farm , nature at its best.
Good service through out and personalised care by friendly staff.
Freshly cooked homemade tasty food served to your room and relax in front of the room looking over the lake with boats passing by and beautiful sunset views.
The best part was the relaxed private sunset boat ride on the lake for two of us with stunning views starting right in front of our cottage.
Susan Salin and team have done a wonderful job in making avail of this wonderful property for fortunate few like us.
Special thanks to Asha and Arjun who were always helpful and giving us information of local tours and cultures. Not to forget those amazing cooks who cooked meals as per our taste
We will definitely going to return and recommend to our friends to visit ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGES

Der offene Essenshall/Restaurant und die Aussicht auf den langen schönen Blickpool (nach ihnen) mit Blumenbaum und Grünland um ihn, die fast bis auf oder geben einen visuellen Effekt von der Ausdehnung auf den See ist eine visuelle Behandlung. Die coole Brise aus dem See, fließt über den Pool und erreicht uns, um einen beruhigenden Effekt während des Essens im Restaurant zu geben. Essen ist gut genug. Zimmer sind komfortabel genug. Ich denke, es war ein Wert für Geld zu bleiben.

KKunaal JainGetting There - 2hrs drive from Kochi airport. The hotel arranged for a transfer taxi. 5,000/- one way.
Arrival- Welcomed with chandan tika, welcome drink, cold towel and a big smile by the staff.
Room- Got it early then the checkin time. Rooms are big, well lit with good views. But they need a lot of maintenance and refurbishment.
Hotel- Green, peaceful, clean.
Food & Restaurants - Only 1 restaurant with limited menu. But everything we ordered was delicious and good in portion size.
