Hotel gut gelegen, sauber und ruhig, Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und von guter Qualität, Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer von der Größe recht bescheiden, besonders das Bad!

I stayed at The George Hotel in Norwich for a quick overnight stop and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. Although I booked a super cheap deal for a single room, I was given a double room which was warm and comfortable. The location is easy to reach and it's about a 15 minute walk to the big shopping area in Norwich. The hotel staff were really attentive and friendly during check in and check out, they certainly made me feel very welcome and I wouldn't mind staying at The George Hotel again. They have an onsite restaurant called The Arlington Bistro which I would like to try as I didn't have a meal there during my stay. In summary, I can definitely recommend this nice, friendly hotel for everyone.

Ein einfaches und einfaches Hotel mit wenigen Frills, aber ehrlich hilfreiches Personal. Das kontinentale Frühstück ist für £6 verfügbar. Nur ein Toilette-/Duschezimmer auf meinem Stock, aber es war immer verfügbar, wenn ich es verwenden wollte. Schrauben Sie ein Garten in meinem Zimmer. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und freundlich. Das Zimmer war groß, mit zwei Betten zusammengestellt, was unerwartet mit einem Duvet über beide. Ich hatte gehofft, getrennte zwei Betten, aber es war ok. Das Hotel selbst ist voller Geschichte, einschließlich eines Ritters. Ich nannte ihn Gerald. Ich würde gerne länger als die eine Nacht dort gewesen sein, so dass ich das Hotel voll ausforschen konnte. Wir haben das Spa nicht genutzt, und wieder hätte ich es geliebt. Wir werden wahrscheinlich wieder zu vollen Erfahrungen mit dem Hotel angeboten. Parkplatz war einfach, mit viel Platz. Das Frühstück ist eine Menge von Buffet-Stil zu wählen. Keiner zeigt Ihnen, dass Sie einfach umgehen und sich helfen. Wir freuen uns auf den Rückzug.

Carpark ein wenig klein, aber Sie können die nächste Tür verwenden. Zimmer ein wenig müde mit Marken auf dem Teppich. Ruhezimmer und gutes Schlafen. Frühstück enthalten, was gute Qualität war, aber Kaffeemaschine nicht groß.

We wee offered a twin room although we requested a double, but the receptionist was very helpful and, with housekeeping, converted it into a double forthwith. The location was good and quiet, and the breakfast selection was reasonable, but very well cooked and one of the better English breakfasts we have had in the country. We assumed that the swimming pool usage was not part of the deal, and regretted not using it when we found out that there was no additonal fee for it. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Es war eines der saubersten Orte, die ich je gehabt habe! Nicht nur das Zimmer selbst, sondern auch das geteilte Badezimmer war sehr hygienische. Auch es ist eine tolle Lage direkt am Bushaltepunkt, die Sie in die Stadt nehmen könnten, die weniger als 10 Minuten dauert, und eine Koop gerade unten die Straße war offen bis ziemlich spät in der Nacht. Da es in einer super ruhigen Nachbarschaft war, hatte ich einen der besten Schlaf, den ich brauchte! Danke!

Booked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.

Communal toilets were clean, the hotel was warm but due to not being able to adjust the heating in the room ( house rules ) it was unbearably hot so we had to have the window open - no consideration from the staff at the restaurant next to the hotel as they were loudly throwing things into the bins just below our room at 12am. Therefore my partner had extremely broken sleep, did not feel rested and was exhausted the next day, but good value for what it is and likely better for solo business travelling as the hotel can supply earplugs. Rang the number for the hotel as advised before checking in, called three times but no answer so had to ring the doorbell twice before being let in, staff seemed unhappy to be answering the door and slightly unwelcoming ( this was at only 5pm )

Looks a little run down outside and quite dated inside. We spent one night in a twin room which was reasonably clean however i would suggest they upgrade the mattress protectors. Nice little complementary tray with water, tea coffee sugar and biscuits. Staff on reception were very friendly. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment. Overall stay was good.
