GGastnutzerDas Sommerzimmer ist eine kleine gemütliche Einheit, die am Haupthaus mit einem separaten Eingang befestigt ist. Es ist etwa 30 Minuten zu Fuß zum Stadtzentrum. Wir bevorzugen nicht die ruhigen Straßen nach dem Abendessen zu gehen, um wieder in die Wohnung zu kommen. Es gibt viele Parkmöglichkeiten und es ist eine Pauschalrate von 3 bis 4 Quits nach 5 Uhr bis zum nächsten Tag.

BBells on the roadCarpark ein wenig klein, aber Sie können die nächste Tür verwenden. Zimmer ein wenig müde mit Marken auf dem Teppich. Ruhezimmer und gutes Schlafen. Frühstück enthalten, was gute Qualität war, aber Kaffeemaschine nicht groß.

CC MussoodeeEverything from check-in to departure was perfect . The room was spotless with a big comfortable bed .
We used the spa and pool which was all extremely clean with very polite staff at reception . This is our 3rd visit here and each time we’ve been very impressed
Breakfast was very pleasant as were all staff .Vast selection of food and beverages for all dietary requirements . We enjoyed the full
English breakfast that was cooked to perfection followed by some fresh pineapple / watermelon .
We’ve stayed here a couple of times when we fly to UK and will continue to enjoy a weekend break here in the future .

GGastnutzerBeautiful hotel not far from city centre. Staff were lovely and welcoming.
The room was large, with twin beds put together, which was unexpected with one duvet over both. I did expect separate twin beds, but it was ok.
The hotel itself is full of history, including a knight. I called him Gerald. I would love to have been there longer than the one night so I could fully explore the hotel.
We did not use the spa, and again, I would have loved to. We are likely to go back to fully experience what the hotel offers.
Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces.
Breakfast is buffet style plenty to choose from. No one shows you around just go and help yourself.
We look forward to going back.

GGastnutzerWe wee offered a twin room although we requested a double, but the receptionist was very helpful and, with housekeeping, converted it into a double forthwith. The location was good and quiet, and the breakfast selection was reasonable, but very well cooked and one of the better English breakfasts we have had in the country. We assumed that the swimming pool usage was not part of the deal, and regretted not using it when we found out that there was no additonal fee for it. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Very convenient if you want to visit the university, a little less so if you want to visit the city centre, although there are regular bus services. Supermarket and coffee shop close by, pleasant surroundings. Have stayed a few times and would do so again.

HHighfieldLooks a little run down outside and quite dated inside.
We spent one night in a twin room which was reasonably clean however i would suggest they upgrade the mattress protectors. Nice little complementary tray with water, tea coffee sugar and biscuits.
Staff on reception were very friendly.
We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment.
Overall stay was good.

ZZara MonicaBooked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.

GGastnutzerThe hotel is a short walk from the railway and within easy access to the Cathedral and city centre. I stayed there for 2 nights. In the 1st night, the bathroom light was out of order as there was no one in the hotel to take care of it. Nothing was done in the following morning, and the only thing to be done is to change the room in the afternoon.
The hotel looks tired and needs some touching up, yet the rooms are spacious, functional and clean, and the bed is comfortable. There is an issue with dampness in walls though it is not too serious. If you look for a budget place to sleep at night, this is the place for you.
