The hotel view is absolutely stunning — it feels like you're in Guilin, surrounded by beautiful mountains. I booked the Lan Shan room with a private pool. The pool was moderately clean and quite small — perfect for taking photos and relaxing, but not ideal for serious swimming. A heads-up for female guests: during my stay, we felt a bit uncomfortable when a drone flew overhead while we were using the pool. Although the hotel clearly prohibits drones (all guests are required to sign an agreement), there happened to be a cycling event nearby, and we weren’t sure who the drone belonged to. If you're planning to wear a bikini or swimwear, just be extra mindful and occasionally check your surroundings for privacy, as it might affect your comfort. The room itself was very spacious, though the cleanliness could be better. However, the service was outstanding — the staff made sure we had everything we needed and were always attentive. We enjoyed the in-room breakfast, which was very convenient. The hotel also offered complimentary afternoon tea and a free photo shoot. While the cheesecake could have tasted better, the photographer was friendly and made the experience fun. Overall, it’s a peaceful and relaxing getaway with stunning scenery and great service — just be cautious around the pool area if you’re concerned about privacy.

Das Gästezimmer ist klar und hell, die Wäsche ist trocken und nicht amüsant, das Warmwasser ist ausreichend, die Betten sind freundlich und die Haut ist eine Nacht ruhig. Die Mitarbeiter Q sind mäßig intim und haben eine rechtzeitige Antwort auf die Bedürfnisse. Die Umgebung ist komplett ausgestattet, nahe dem Geschäftsviertel/Attraktionen, die Reise spart Zeit und Mühe. Die Einrichtungen sind in der Lage, die Umgebung ist ruhig und komfortabel, und es ist gut, ob es sich um Touristen oder Reisen handelt, es wird wirklich empfohlen zu bleiben.

The location proved to be quite convenient, situated 15 minutes by car from the nearest train station, 清遠站, and with a variety of popular restaurants and supermarkets merely 10 minutes away. Additionally, it takes around 30 minutes to reach 劍潭站 and 古龍峽, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The ease of hailing taxis and the availability of food delivery further enhance the overall convenience of this establishment. The cost of accommodation is particularly appealing, priced at around HKD 170 per room per night for three guests, which is quite economical in the current market. The room itself was neat, tidy, and clean, though I did notice some dirt along the edges of the floor. It would also be wise for guests to bring their own towels, as the amenities provided are basic and do not include a refrigerator, limiting options for storing beverages. For members of the hotel, a complimentary breakfast is offered for one person; however, it is advisable to manage expectations, as the breakfast selection is rather simple. On a positive note, the hotel staff were generally friendly and accommodating, displaying a willingness to meet various requests, such as providing extra bottles of water and additional duvets—services that are not commonly found in more budget-oriented establishments. In conclusion, while the hotel has its drawbacks, particularly regarding room amenities and breakfast options, its strategic location, affordability, and the helpfulness of the staff make it a reasonable choice for families seeking a convenient stay.

Breakfast had a good variety, and the dining experience overall was satisfying. Watching the sunrise/sunset at the resort was definitely one of the highlights. Overall, it was a wonderful and refreshing stay. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking for a peaceful vacation retreat. Would definitely come back again!

Es war ein fantastisches Erlebnis. Noch perfekter wäre es gewesen, wenn wir den Sonnenuntergang hätten erleben können. Wir erreichten den Gipfel gegen 18 Uhr, als viele Leute den Sonnenuntergang genießen wollten. Mit Einbruch der Dunkelheit bildeten sich lange Schlangen von Touristen für den Sightseeing-Bus, der den Berg hinunterfuhr. Der Aufenthalt dort oben war wirklich toll; wir konnten in Ruhe essen, was im Paketpreis inbegriffen war. Wir konnten uns mit den Nachbarn unterhalten und es gab andere Kinder im ähnlichen Alter zum Spielen. Obwohl die Zimmer nicht groß waren – bei unserer Buchung gab es nur ein Zweibettzimmer mit tatsächlich nur zwei Betten – war die Klimaanlage unglaublich laut und machte seltsame Geräusche. Es gab kein eigenes Badezimmer; acht Zelte teilten sich drei Badezimmer, sodass Toilette und Dusche ein und dasselbe waren. Zu den Stoßzeiten beim Duschen bildeten sich lange Schlangen, was ziemlich unpraktisch war! Man kann auch den Sonnenaufgang gegen 6 Uhr morgens beobachten, aber an diesem Tag war es bewölkt, sodass wir weder Sonnenaufgang noch Sonnenuntergang sehen konnten, obwohl das Wetter großartig war. Nach dem Frühstück machten wir einen Spaziergang und durften sogar Tee pflücken und zubereiten. Außerdem gab es Eis und Nachmittagstee. Für 780 fand ich das echt ein super Angebot. Abendessen, Nachmittagstee, Eintrittsgelder und die Fahrten mit dem Sightseeing-Bus waren schon weg, und die Unterkunft kostete weniger als 400. Absolut empfehlenswert! 👍

Swan Lake Hotel enjoys a spectacular setting at the foothill of mountains and facing a large lake. If one gets up early enough, from the balcony of the room there's the beautiful sunrise to catch at the far side of the lake. The atmosphere is serenely beautiful! I occupied a luxurious spacious suite on the top floor basically made up of 2 rooms, one for the bedroom and bathroom, the other for a tea ceremony table. Each room has a large balcony and fabulous view of the lake. The bed is huge and the mattress is firm and very good in supporting one's back. The air-conditioning system thoughtfully offers a choice of cool or warm air to suit the seasons. There's a capsule coffee machine but no capsule was offered. Similarly, the beautiful tea ceremony table doesn't come with any tea at all. The bathroom is enormous with a toilet cubicle, double sinks, a bathtub and a shower. The shelf inside the shower cubicle has been designed a bit too small for placing toiletries. Maybe I missed seeing it, but I didn't notice any escape route plan which most hotels display on each floor in the lift lobby. The hot spring center is beautifully set in a garden. Numerous pools offer different fragrance of flowers or tea. Night time soaking is very atmospheric, but safety measure can be greatly enhanced by installing lights to shine in each pool of water. There's plenty of choices for breakfast in the buffet restaurant. The Chinese restaurant serves tasty local cuisine, some ingredient are even from local water and farms. The staff are very friendly and helpful in general, very accommodating with even special requests.

Der Gesamteindruck ist sehr durchschnittlich. Das Badezimmer im Zimmer riecht seltsam und ist nicht gut isoliert. Die Nachbarn können hören, was auf dem Flur gesprochen wird. Ich rief nachts an, um das Zimmer zu wechseln, aber sie sind nur auf die andere Seite des Flurs umgezogen. Das Badezimmer riecht auch muffig, und ich war letztendlich zu faul, es zu wechseln. Die Thermalbecken im Freien sind klein, es gibt nicht viele davon und sie sind nichts Besonderes. Sie sind eher durchschnittlich. Das Servicebewusstsein an der Rezeption ist noch stark verbesserungswürdig. Gelegentlich sind sie ungeduldig und schauen Gäste mit bösem Gesicht an. Ich lobe die Putzfrau für ihr Servicebewusstsein und ihre schnelle Reaktion auf Gästewünsche. Was das Essen angeht, ist das chinesische Restaurant im Hotel nicht günstig, es gibt nicht viele Frühstücksvarianten und es ist ziemlich voll, wenn viele Leute da sind. Ich empfehle die Valley Canteen in der Nähe des B&B. Sie schmeckt authentisch, ist erschwinglich und bietet Fünf-Sterne-Service.

Ich habe wieder im Merrill Lynch International Hotel übernachtet. Das Zimmer war sauber und sonnig. Das Hotel war günstig gelegen. Der Service an der Rezeption war sehr gut, insbesondere der QQ-Service, der alle meine Fragen beantwortete. Er war lobenswert und gab mir das Gefühl, zu Hause zu sein.

The hot tub, barbecue facilities, and karaoke were all fantastic additions that made our stay even more memorable. The staff deserve special mention. They were attentive, genuinely friendly, and always willing to help. Their warmth made us feel valued throughout our stay. The on-site marketplace offers a great range of conveniences, making it easy to pick up anything you might need. As a coffee lover, I especially appreciated the coffee shop, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. Choosing to return again and again has been an easy decision for our family. This is one of those rare places that delivers far more than it promises, and we cannot wait for our next visit
