"Just had a quick transit stay near Fuzhou Airport, and it was awesome! The hotel is a great deal—plus, they surprised me with complementary airport pickup and drop-off, which was super handy. There are tons of restaurants within 500m walking distance, so you’re covered from breakfast to midnight supper. Big shoutout to the front desk crew—木子, 可可, and 小六—they were really friendly and helpful. If you’re stuck for a transit flight in Fuzhou overnight, definitely book this place!"

Am zweiten Tag bat ich die Rezeption, das Wechselgeld zu ändern, und das Personal sagte mit einer schlechten Einstellung: ”Es gibt keinen solchen Service.” Diese beiden Dinge sind nicht das, was ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel haben sollte. Noch empörender ist, dass ich drei Stunden nach dem Auschecken und Auschecken eine Empfangsdame empfing, die in den Laden kam und sagte: „Ihre Vorautorisierung Ihrer Kreditkarte kann nicht storniert werden! "My stay at the InterContinental Hotel in Fuzhou, was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s professionalism and warm hospitality were evident, setting the tone for a luxurious stay. The highlight of my visit was the suite—it was simply amazing! Spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean, the suite exuded luxury in every detail. The panoramic city views from the large windows were breathtaking, both during the day and at night when Fuzhou lights up. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the high-quality amenities, including the rainfall shower and plush bathrobes, added to the indulgence. The dining options at the hotel were also good. The hotel’s location in the heart of the city made it convenient to explore nearby attractions, and the concierge was helpful in providing recommendations and arranging transportation. Overall, my stay at the InterContinental Fuzhou was flawless. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel offers an unparalleled level of comfort and luxury. I can’t wait to return! "Booked an 5 day stay for an Business Trip. Location of hotel is good. There are a small shopping mall directly downstairs with some restaurants. (including starbucks and Mcdonalds) Most popular tourists and large shopping malls in the area are accessible via an short taxi trip. between 5-15 mins depending where you go. Overall hotel is very clean. Now for all the downside, (for reference I'm here during December with weather around 18 degrees during the day and 12-14 degrees during the night), if you like to control your own room temperature for your own comfort, do NOT book this hotel. The problem here is that they have an climate control in the room, however, it does not actually control any room temperature as I had later found out. Each day the hotel was pumping in heating through the centralised air condition. I complained that it was getting far too ”warm” for me and it was getting uncomfortable as the room felt stuffy and was giving me headaches, As there was no windows that you can open, there was no way to get ”fresh air” feeling into the room. It was also affecting my sleep during the night, this was an VERY unpleasant feeling. I tried to speak to the staff about this problem and their simple reply was basically ”nothing we can do” not even an attempt to offer an solution and that the climate control inside the room does NOT in fact control the temperature for the rooms! Another issue was I switched on the DND (do not disturb button) as I did not needed any room cleaning during the first night of stay, I came back to find room was cleaned and items was moved around. Now admittedly it's nice to come back to an tidied room, however I did not expect anyone to come in even though I switched the DND switch on. On the third day the same thing happen however this time I was inside the room working. Even though the DND button was switched on, staff was still knocking on doors and coming in to check if I needed room cleaning. After I rejected I was receiving calls to confirm I didn't need room cleaning, now all this is probably an good service for other people but for me it was very irritating as it kept interrupting me during an important work conference call. The final thing that I found to be quite lacking considering this is ”Hilton” was when I checked out, the staff asked if I needed an receipt/invoice for my stay, in which I requested yes, as I needed to put it to office accounts department for reimbursement purposes. They actually told me they could not print out any invoices for my stay. I needed to go and do that myself on Trip, which was fine, I thought I can do that myself, however because I have used room service etc I cannot get this on ”Trip”'s website. It just felt the whole experience was so poor coming from the ”Hilton” group. 100% the worst stay I have had."

"Der Hotelbesitzer war sehr reaktiv über WeChat. Er wäre in seinem Minivan gekommen, um Sie zu holen, auch wenn Sie die einzige Party sind. Er wird Sie auch zum Flughafen schicken, egal wann. Das Hotel ist in den Vororten und die Umgebung sieht nett aus, aber es ist super nahe dem Flughafen, es ist bequem, wenn Sie durchfahren, wie wir waren. Es ist neben einem unvermutlichen Essen, das fantastisches Essen (echt unterbewertet) hatte, so dass Sie einfach jederzeit auf den Treppen für Essen pop. Wir waren vor 1 Uhr raus und es gab noch Essen. Der Hotelbesitzer war sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Er gab uns Slips, Zahnbürste und Zahnpasta. Das WC hatte auch Toiletten und einen Haartrockner. Alles war erwartet. Die klimatisierte Unterkunft ist angemessen, das Zimmer war sauber und einfach. WiFi ist verfügbar, Wasserdruck ist angemessen, Mineralwasser und Kettle sind ebenfalls verfügbar. Wir hatten ein bisschen eine Pipeline-Frage, weil wir nicht wussten, dass Sie das Toilettenpapier nicht in China abspülen können, aber der Hotelbesitzer kam schnell mit seinem Kolben und rettete die Nacht. Ich habe nichts zu beschweren und nur dankbar!"
