GGastnutzerIch kann nicht aufhören, über dieses Inn zu raschen. Es ist ein B&B-Stil drei Stories High Inn in der Altstadt von Datong. Komplimentarer Shuttleservice zwischen dem Flughafen oder der Bahnhof machte es wirklich bequem für die Stadtreisenden. Das Gästezimmer war sauber und mit modernen Einrichtungen wie automatische Toiletten, kodiertem Eingang, Projektionsbildschirmen usw. Das Inn liegt in der Nähe des Nordgates der Stadt unter anderem. In wenigen Gehminuten ist der Zugang zur Spitze der Stadtmauer, wo Fahrradverleih zur Verfügung steht, um entlang der Wand zu fahren. Das Inn ist sehr ruhig in der Nacht. Das Inn ist familienbetrieben und jeder war sehr Gastgeber. Was diese Inn von anderen Unterkünften in der Gegend abgesehen ist ihre Dedikation zu bedienen. Der Besitzer wusste, dass ich ein Touristen und neu in die Gegend war, sie bot mir, mich zu holen, wenn ich verloren ging, um die alte Stadt zu wandeln. Das Frühstück kam mit meiner Reservierung. Als der Besitzer entdeckte, dass ich vor dem Frühstücksdienst fahren musste, ging sie oben und darüber, um Essen zu bereiten und servierte mich 30 Minuten vor der Zeit. Das Essen schmeckte erstaunlich und kam mit reichhaltigen Sorten und riesigen Teilen. Es war sicherlich nicht Teil des Services, auf einem anderen Ort zu fallen, aber der Besitzer nahm mich zu meiner nächsten Unterkunft 2 km entfernt. Ich schätze wirklich alles, was dieses Inn und seine Mitarbeiter für mich getan haben. Ich bin so froh, dass ich mich auf meiner ersten Nacht in Datong für diesen schönen kleinen Inn entschieden habe. Ich werde sicherlich auf meinem nächsten Besuch hier wieder bleiben.

GGastnutzerDer allgemeine Service des Hotels ist sehr zufriedenstellend, die Dekoration des Hotels ist sehr gedankenvoll, die Einstellung der Mitarbeiter ist sehr gut und wir haben ein günstiges Gefühl für die Gäste. Die Lage des Hotels ist groß wie das Zentrum der Altstadt und ist überall sehr bequem. Das Hotel hat den Meister für ihn geplant, wir pakken den Wagen, er ist sehr professionell, sehr freundlich und die Service-Einstellung ist sehr gut.

GGastnutzerDas Überraschendste an meiner Reise nach Datong ist, dass das B&B in einer wohlhabenden Gegend der antiken Stadt liegt. Man kann die Tür öffnen und in die geschäftige Stadt eintreten, aber die Tür schließen und sich ruhig und wohl fühlen. Das B&B liegt weniger als 5 Gehminuten von den im Internet bekannten Restaurants 369 Coarse Rice Restaurant, Long Juxiang und Shunyi Liangfen entfernt. Nach dem Anstehen können Sie bequem zu Fuß dorthin gehen. Der Service des Besitzers ist aufmerksam, das B&B ist elegant eingerichtet und die Einrichtungen im Inneren sind super neu, der gleiche Standard wie ein 5-Sterne-Hotel. Die Bettwäsche ist sauber und bequem und meine Tochter möchte nicht gehen. Ich habe es meinen Kollegen empfohlen und werde dieses Fünf-Sterne-B&B wählen, wenn ich das nächste Mal nach Datong komme!

Sie ist immer ansprechbar und gibt umfassende Anleitungen zum Spielen in der antiken Stadt. Kommen Sie zum Spielen in die antike Stadt und wählen Sie dieses.

Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich, alles wird auf Bestellung zubereitet und das Geschirr besteht aus exquisitem Knochenporzellan. Nachmittags gibt es außerdem kostenlosen Nachmittagstee, Mousse-Kuchen, Pommes Frites, Brathähnchen und Kaffee. Jedes Zimmer ist mit Sanitärartikeln von Kohler, einem Luftreiniger von Dyson, einem Haartrockner von Dyson und Toilettenartikeln von L'Occitane sowie kostenlosen Einweghandtüchern und Toilettenvorlegern ausgestattet. Alle Getränke im kleinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer sind kostenlos und Sie können unbegrenzt trinken. Der Innenhof ist sehr elegant eingerichtet, mit Tischen, Stühlen und Sonnenschirmen zum entspannten Nachmittagstee, einem Fischteich und Ihnen Man kann Minus II direkt sehen. Es gibt ein Sichtglas für den Pool im ersten Stock. Es gibt auch viele kindliche kleine Hasenschaukelanhänger Einige Tomatensämlinge an der Wand gepflanzt. GGastnutzerWe took a 23-day trip through China, staying in 9 different hotels. Without hesitation, I can say that our stay at Floral stood out in many ways. First, the hotel's structure is very beautiful and has been renovated while staying true to the traditional style of the region. The hotel room itself was probably the most beautiful we had seen on our entire trip: spacious, with windows that actually opened, good air conditioning, and modern decor and furniture without being over the top. Second, the hotel's location is within the boundaries of the city wall and is part of the old town, so beautiful to walk around and see the traditional houses - many of them renovated according to the traditional style. And third and most importantly, the kindness of the people who work at the hotel. I have never felt so welcome anywhere on holiday as at this place. Unfortunately, I arrived with health problems and needed antibiotics - equivalents of the ones I had brought from Europe. I asked the reception where I could find the closest pharmacy, but rather than guiding me there, Xiao Liu, the lady at the reception, figured out for me which antibiotic would be the right one and got it for me. The same when we needed a suitcase, rather than sending me to the shop she inquired about our desired suitcase and in one hour it was there. Drinks are complementary at any time of the day, and the breakfast (Chinese and international - sandwiches) was generous and unlimited. When we were running late coming back from the grottoes and needed to catch a train, Xiao Liu helped us out by bringing us all our suitcases directly to the train station. We will never forget all these acts of kindness and we are still grateful to her and the entire hotel staff for making us feel so much at home. Datong will stay in our minds and hearts forever thanks to the people of the Floral hotel. Datong is special enough for all the incredible cultural sights you can visit - but our stay there will never be forgotten thanks to the beauty of the Floral Hotel and its amazing people. GGastnutzerI was greeted with a fruit platter during check-in, which was a wonderful welcome gesture considering I left my home about 24 hours earlier, traveling non-stop from California to Datong, China. The Inn provides a wonderful experience for the first-time foreign visitor. The interior decor has that Chinese charm consisting of artwork, a book display, an aquarium with an auspicious collection of 8 large fishes (carp, I think), in-room tea set with an on-table electric stove, which would be unique to most Westerners. The glass flooring adds an extraordinary appeal since I have never experienced that in a hotel before, and I have traveled to dozens of countries. The Inn is well located, a short bus ride to Datong Railway Station (for non-high-speed rail travel)*, and a short taxi ride to Datong South Railway Station (for high-speed rail travel)**. It is just next to Datong City Wall. You can walk along the top of the City Wall at no cost. A 10-20 minute walk takes you to nearly all the attractions within the ancient City Wall. Here you will also find a variety of restaurants serving local food as well as souvenir shops. There is also a small shop that sells sundry items including drinks (beer included) within a 5-minute walk from the Inn. Across from this sundry shop, is a shop that specializes in ancient Chinese clothing (Hanfu dress). They can dress you up, cosmetics included. The Inn provides directions to Yujian Yun Gang - a popular destination for travelers to Datong. Here you will see ancient Buddhist cave art, including large and tall (several stories tall) sculptures. It takes two bus rides to get there, 1RMB per ride. My booking choice was for either a guest room on the 1st or 2nd floor but was assigned a wonderful 2nd-floor guest room. The owners of the Inn were exceptionally friendly. I met both the mother and her daughter. My room was professionally cleaned and provided with drinking bottled water daily. If I return to Datong in the future, I will certainly book a room at this Inn. *I took a train from this station to travel south to Xinzhou after checking out. **I arrived in Datong from Beijing Daxing International Airport

GGastnutzerThe hotel is in a commercial building where many tenants have moved out. It feels deserted. Except for its neighbour Han Ting hotel and the minimart beside, there does not seem to have any activity. The staff are friendly enough. There is no public toilet for the hotel guests. Guests could only use the toilets in their hotel rooms or use the public toilet on the first floor which is disgustingly dirty. It is a hassle for guests whose flight or train is in the evening after checking out in the daytime. I had to use another hotel's toilet in the evening. The hotel room's shower curtains have frayed at the edge, are a little mouldy and need to be replaced. I suspect that as it is a budget hotel, the management don't care. But the room and its toilet are clean. On food, the hotel is small so they work with an eatery outside to provide breakfast if you have breakfast included in your stay. The breakfast options are limited so it is better to go out and buy breakfast. To my surprise, there are no breakfast eateries nearby! One has to walk until the cross junction where one sees the Datong Railway Station before there are some eateries. Or, one can walk in the direction towards the Datong Ancient City and along the way, there are some restaurants and eateries. EatWheat 东方削面 is authentic in its local flavour. The hotel location is near the Datong Ancient City. If you are up for a bit of walk, it is possible to walk there. If there is an emergency, please go to 三医院 The Third Hospital which is the nearest public hospital with all facilities available. The rest of the hospitals nearby may not be fully equipped.
