BBernard CharlesMy room #13015 was in building 390 into a residential area in the China Ocean Flower island 3 Haodao. All was clean and well equipped, including the bathroom and all products and accessories needed.
The service was kind and quickly reactive to the minor problem. I enjoyed a lot my sejour there and I strongly recommend the place.

MMauveMHad a wonderful stay here at Forest Inn, Hainan University! My cousin is starting university nearby and we came to drop her off. Since we had stayed in the downtown before, we wanted to find a place close to campus to experience. This hotel is the best option! It’s right within the campus entrance and easy to navigate to. The front desk concierge’s were very friendly and kind - two of them even took us around on the tour bus to familiarize us with the campus and surrounding area. They even went out of their way and offered to help us unload luggage. Since there was no parking space on move-in day, having the option to drop off saved us a lot of hassle. In addition to campus, the hotel is also located close to a botanical garden, about 15 minutes to the downtown area, and close to shops, stores, etc.
Some suggestions:
- Wish the pool was accessible as advertised on Trip but it’s now only a kiddie pool.
- For longer stays, room amenities should be replenished daily based on number of guests.
- I received a rather expensive delivery during my stay and asked the courier to leave it with the front desk as I was out during that time. There was someone at the front desk with a poor attitude who denied that any deliveries arrived and suggested it had been delivered to another location. Luckily, another staff member helped me check and found my delivery. I suggest besides giving guests misleading information, to ensure it’s accurate first.

AAmi AnnieWe went in mid June, rainy season so it was low season. For the price that we paid for the 2 bedroom villa, which included breakfast (at another hotel) entry to ocean park, The Five Country Hot Spring City, and personal shuttle bus service within the island. I think it was well worth it. Service was prompt and courteous, although communication was all through WeChat and in Chinese. Convenient but knowing sone Chinese would be better to utilize services . We stayed in the Japanese style villa, and it was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable. We especially loved having our own dry and steam sauna, and our own personal outdoor hot spring bath! Real hot spring mineral water! I recommend this place especially for people who love hot spring baths and want to avoid busy touristy hotels.
Cleanliness: overall quite clean.
Location: walking distance to ocean park and hot spring city, so quite convenient. 5-10 minutes shuttle ride to most places within the island.
Service: knowing someone is available 24 hours was nice. They were eager to help with whatever we needed. The main concierge during the day was more friendly, competent and experienced.
Amenities: everything we needed was provided. There was a Dyson hair dryer, fridge etc. If you are picky about your shampoo soaps etc, you may want to bring your own. But they do provide them.

The apartment itself is impeccably furnished and spotless, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure comfort and convenience. It felt like a home away from home, with modern amenities and stylish decor that enhanced the overall experience.
What truly set this stay apart was the management staff. They were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with any request. Their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident, as there was nothing we asked for that they couldn’t provide.
Overall, this apartment exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay in Haikou with exceptional service, look no further!

GGastnutzerthis was an amazing island for relaxation. many north easterners come here over the winter period, hence a lot of north east cuisine available even till late night. sea views are also great as our block was nearest to the shoreline. toilet is slightly small but is ok. the island shuttle bus does not arrive, best to pay the locals for a quick shuttle.

GGastnutzerI would like to have given this place a better rating because the assistance was quick whenever I needed it and the apartment was really nicely decorated. However, it was not clean, the washing machine was not in a good condition, the fridge smelt really bad at first, and the shower head was broken (they did replace the shower head though). I was also not given a key card or code to open the main entrance to the building and the security person in charge of letting key-less guests in usually took too long to open the door. One time I had to ring 6 times before the door was opened. Hainan is an amazing place and I'd definitely go there again. But honestly, I probably wouldn't stay in this apartment again. I also didn't realise it was more like an Airbnb situation rather than a hotel. I only found out after I'd booked the apartment that I would have to pay a deposit and only be able to communicate with somebody through WeChat because there is no front desk.

Ich habe diese Meereswohnung lange gewählt, um Trip.com zu sehen.
1. Der Chef hat eine sehr gute Einstellung. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut.
2. Die Umgebung von Restaurants, Supermärkten, Obstladen sind sehr bequem, alle unterhalb zu packen.
Die Wohnung ist sauber und das Zimmer kann die gesamte Meeresaussicht sehen.
4. Es ist auch sehr bequem, auf Insel 2 auf Insel 1 zu spielen. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Bus.
Insgesamt ist es sehr glücklich, dass Sie selten so zufrieden sind, dass Sie in Trip.com buchen. Danke wieder an Ihren Chef.
