Das Personal, das allen sehr nett ist. Wir konnten die Gepäck vor unserem Eingang verlassen. Die Lage ist sensationell. sehr saubere Seifen und Handtücher und Zimmer, Badezimmer und saubere Gemeindebereiche. Da es sich um eine Klaustrophobie in der Gegend der Korridoren handelt, die Bodenfläche der Wohnung ist gelähmt und geräuschlich, das Bad ist wie ein Auto-Arava und das schlechte Bett, die Mühlen wurden bemerkt.

Große Lage, in der Nähe von Spaziergang zu vielen Attraktionen und direkt am Fluss. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hostel selbst war sauber, hatte eine volle Küche und komfortable Betten. Eine der besten Hostels, die ich geblieben habe. Ich würde es mir sicher empfehlen und dort wieder aufhalten.

Eine solche erstaunliche Erfahrung im Les Piaules- The People Hostel in Belleville. Ich bin ein einsamer Frauenreisende und habe in 2 gemischten Schlafzimmern (8 Bücher & 6 Bücher) geblieben und so komfortable und sicher gefühlt. Die Betten sind warm und gemütlich, die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sauber und die Dusche ist heiß und ziemlich geräumig. Die Dachterrasse hat Aussichten auf den Eiffelturm und Sacre Coeur und ist perfekt für die Schönheit von Paris von oben. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit und spricht großartig Englisch und die Bar und Patio ist ein toller Ort, um sich aushängen und andere Reisende treffen! Ich empfehle dieses Hostel 100% für alle Reisenden nach Paris!!

There is something about this hotel that takes you back to times past. Loved the winding staircase, the grafitti on the walls. We stayed in the urban room, which was minimalist, with concrete pipe sections for some of the furniture, street style paintings on the walls, ceiling beams painted red. View from the room was out onto a square which was fascinating to see the various characters throughout the day. very comfortable bed, decent shower room. Breakfast is taken down in the cellar, past more grafitti on the walls, loved it. Breakfast is more in the traditional french style, with bread and croissant served in a basket supplememted by cereal and yogurt. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. This hotel may not be to everyone's taste, but we loved it. The atmosphere and the location were good. Would visit again.

What a wonderful experience - from the very beginning when the staff gave us a warm they were very friendly throughout and couldn't do enough for us. We asked for rooms with a balcony and were given one on the corner and one next door which was lovely - we like to have fresh air in the room at night - although a little noisy being on the fifth floor deadened it so it was fine. The hotel does have the tinest lift we have ever seen but then it was fine for one person although I have to admit we are small people and reasonably fit and so we were quite happy climbing the stairs. The reception staff allowed us to store our luggage on our final day which was a great help The price was very good for a central Paris hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend although if you are a larger person perhaps the lower floors and a larger room might be better We loved it

I booked this hotel as part of a package and only checked out the reviews after booking was completed. My heart just sun upon seeing all the negative reviews. I told myself perhaps we would have a different experience. However, I should say we were very pleased with the staff and facilities. Breakfast was great, room was big enough for 4. Beds were comfortable. The a/c however seemed to have a mind of its own and the room would get warmer during the night while we slept. Maybe it's due to the heavy duvet we slept under. All other times, the room was very comfortable. After our first shower, we noticed the bath was clogging up and the water would not drain fast enough leaving us standing in a pool of soapy water. Went to report at the front desk and within minutes someone was up to fix that. I read other reviewers complain about security deposits not being refunded. I was mindful of that so I asked for a copy of the contract I signed just in case I had to take things up with my bank. That was however not necessary as the refund reflected on my credit card by the next morning. So all in all, I'd say don't be too worried about the negative reviews. Perhaps they're by frequent travelers used to top-notch experiences. Just manage your expectations. We had a very good experience right from check in to check out. I'd definitely recommend.

Sehr freundliches Personal, von dem wir immer mit einem Lächeln begrüßt wurden. Unser Zimmer war entsprechend der Pariser Verhältnisse groß/klein, was aber für uns völlig ausreichend war. Unser Bett war sehr bequem, vorallem die Kissen sehr weich 😍 Auch wurde das Zimmer jeden Tag gründlich gereinigt und es war somit sehr sauber. Angenehm, dass man das Fenster weit aufmachen konnte, was nicht üblich ist für Paris. Wir mögen die Gegend am Ende des Canal Saint Martin bzw am Bassin Villette. Man kann von dort aus gut mit der Metro alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen oder zu Fuß am Canal Richtung Platz der République entlang schlendern. Auch kann man eine schöne Runde joggen gehen in Richtung La Villette. Wenn man sich für das Hotel entscheidet sollte man noch wissen dass es in der Nähe einer großen Kreuzung und der oberirdischen Metrostation Jaurés ist. Entsprechend kann es nachts etwas laut sein, was uns aber nichts ausgemacht hat. Wenn man den ganzen Tag zu Fuß in Paris unterwegs ist, kann man sicher gut schlafen. In der Gegend übernachten einige Obdachlose, wie an vielen Stellen in Paris. Sie sind friedlich, davon sollte man sich also nicht abschrecken lassen.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Rummes Zimmer mit guten Einrichtungen für einen Familienurlaub. Komfortable Betten, großes feuchtes Zimmer und gute Dusche. Küchenzeile mit Kaffeemaschine, Kühlschrank, Hob und Mikrowelle. Sehr ruhiges Zimmer und TV könnte Netflix oder TV-Inhalte für Familien strömen. Weniger als 2 Minuten zu Fuß zum U-Bahnhof und im Herzen von Paris in 15/20 Minen und großer Supermarkt neben der Tür.

Das Zimmer selbst war sehr schön und sauber. Wir landen um 11 Uhr und gingen zum Hotel und dachte, wenn wir nicht inchecken konnten, würden wir essen und entspannen, bis unser Zimmer bereit war. Als wir zum Büro kamen, machte die Empfangsperson einen schnurlosen Kommentar über, wie früh wir da waren. Dann sagte sie, dass es ein Zimmer bereit war. Es war wirklich nicht notwendig für die schnurlosen Kommentare, wenn es ein Zimmer zur Verfügung! Dann mussten wir zum Flughafen für einen sehr frühen Flug zu gehen und es war vor dem Shuttle angelaufen, so dass wir einen Taxi beantragten die Nacht vor und der Empfänger stellte es für uns. Am Morgen gab es kein Taxi und niemand am Frontdesk. Ich rang ein paar Mal die Uhr und niemand erschien. Wir waren wirklich spät zum Flughafen nach einem Uber endlich.
