What a lovely hotel! I usually opt to be closer to Gare du Nord but took a punt on Hotel Scarlett based on price and reviews and was not disappointed. Located on the top floor the room was quiet, comfy with big windows, a super comfy bed, a great shower and a minibar. The staff are friendly and helpful and there's a cool seating and breakfast area off reception. Belleville is a busy vibrant area and there's plenty of places to eat and drink nearby with the hotel conveniently situated down a side street between two metro stations, Belleville (bottom of the hill) and Pyrenees (top of the hill). It's about 20 mins travel time to Gare du Nord and also an easy stroll from the hotel to Pere-Lachaise, Atelier du Lumiere and Parc des Buttes Chaumont. Would definitely stay here again and will also look at their sister hotels Hotel Clarisse and Hotel Bridget.

Location! Location! Location! This hotel is a short walk from not just metro stations, but multiple bus stops, many restaurants, clothing stores, and grocery shops. During my sadly short stay in Paris I had the privilege of staying at Hotel Verlain and got to meet multiple kind staff members. Our room was facing the street with tall windows that opened up to a small little spot you can sit on the edge of and just watch the day go by. On our first day we noticed a leak from the bathroom sink, and after notifying the front desk they offered to move us rooms or that the plumber could be there the next day. We politely declined the offer to a new room as the new room faced the courtyard instead. The next morning the plumber was in while we were out eating, and it was fixed by the time we got back. For the remainder of our stay we had no further issues. From the comfy bed, to the spacious shower/deep tub combo it was the perfect place for our trip. Hotel Verlain will be at the top of my list when I get to go back to Paris!

Wir blieben im Stadtzimmer, das minimalistische war, mit Betonrohrschnitten für einige der Möbel, Straßenstil Gemälde auf den Wänden, Deckenstrahlen gemalt rot. Besichtigung vom Zimmer war auf einem Platz, der faszinierend war, um die verschiedenen Charaktere über den ganzen Tag zu sehen. sehr komfortabel Bett, anständige Dusche. Frühstück wird in der Keller, vorhin mehr Grafit auf den Wänden, liebte es. Das Frühstück ist mehr im traditionellen französischen Stil, mit Brot und Croissant serviert in einem Korb mit Getreide und Joghurt. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und hilfreich in allen Bereichen. Dieses Hotel ist vielleicht nicht für alle, aber wir liebten es. Die Atmosphäre und die Lage waren gut. Ich würde nochmals besuchen.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Super Hostel, alles gut 👌 gerne jederzeit wieder. Vor der Haustür ist gleich die Metro, Supermarkt und alles was man benötigt. Ausblick auf der Dachterrasse ist mega.

Das Hotelzimmer war in Ordnung, wenn auch klein, aber komfortabel. Das Frühstück war gut, besonders die Croissants. Was ich nicht mag, war, als ich mit der Rezeption ein Taxi vom Hotel nach Paris Nord (Bahnhof) bestellte, das nur 2,5 km entfernt war. Die Rezeptionistin sagte, es seien 35 €! Der Fahrer hat mir 37 € berechnet. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass die Rezeptionistin und der Taxifahrer hinters Licht geführt haben, einen höheren Preis für nur 2,5 km zu verlangen. Ohne mein schweres Gepäck wäre ich für nur 1,90 € mit der U-Bahn gefahren. Taxis in Paris halten ihre Taxameter nicht an und mulct Touristen mit Hilfe von Hotelrezeptionisten. Hüte dich! Dieses Hotel sollte einen guten Ruf behalten, da es viele Filialen hat.

GWに二泊しました。モンパルナス駅もダンフェール・ロシュロー駅も歩いて13分くらいです。 モンパルナス駅発着の空港バスがなくなったので、ダンフェール・ロシュロー駅からRERで乗り換えなく空港に行くことができるのはとても便利です。 地下鉄はゲテ駅が8分くらいのところにあります。 大きな通りにあるホテルなので周りは明るく夜に歩いても怖さはありません。しかも夜は静かです。 モンパルナス駅近くのモノプリの食料品売り場が23:40まで開いているので便利です。 フロントの男性スタッフさんのお一人が日本語が上手でびっくりしました。おまけにとても親切でした。 朝食はバゲットとプチサイズのクロワッサンにパンオショコラにパンオレザンをバスケットに入れて出してくれます。バゲット美味しかったです。 ドリンクはコーヒーか紅茶かショコラを選びポットで出してもらえます。オレンジジュースもでてきます。 それからフィナンシェ、ヨーグルトとジャムとチーズが2,3種類棚においてあります。 朝食があんまりだったら外に食べに行こうかと思ったけれど十分でした。 円安もあって4年ぶりのパリのホテルはとても高く、どこに泊まるか悩んだけれど、ここを選んで正解でした。クラッシックなエレベーターはあるし、部屋は十分な広さです。部屋に冷蔵庫はないけれど値段から考えるととても良いホテルでした。

The hotel’s location is so good. Metro station 3 minutes walk and only 20 minute walk to the nearest hop on hop off bus stop. Staff friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean. It was small though. Would have been fine for two people but it was myself and my 2 adult children - wish we had booked a four person room and paid a little extra as with the extra bed in the double room there was zero floor space left for our belongings/suitcases. All in all a good stay. Le Camelia across the road had a lovely breakfast and we had a fab dinner and we’ll-priced cocktails at ZigZag Cafe 100m down the road.

Die Tribe war zwar nur für kurze Zeit offen, aber eine gute Begegnung, ein freundliches Willkommen, effiziente Eincheckung und unser Zimmer war bereit. Die auf Trend Dekor in der Rezeption Lounge-Area wird sowohl in die Korridore als auch in die Schlafzimmern übergeführt. Crisp weiße Bettwäsche und ein gut ausgestattetes Zimmer neben einem anständigen Bad, aber kein Bad, vielleicht muss eine Änderung des Namens für die Dusche, aber das ist eine Debatte nicht hier! Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Unsere Notwendigkeit für einen zusätzlichen Nachtaufenthalt nach einer Zugannullierung wurde mit fortgesetzter gutem Service erfüllt, checkout war auch problemfrei. Es ist offensichtlich sehr früh für diese neue Einrichtung und es gibt verständlich ein paar Endpunkte zu behandeln, aber nichts, was nicht geschehen wird, wird nicht schnell getan werden und der Stamm ist definitiv auf meiner ”Muss zurück zur Liste”. Und für das Rekord ist es eine sehr kurze Liste! Wünschen der Tribe und das Personal alles für ihre Zukunft sehr gut.

Brand new, rooms are very nice, beds very comfortable. The hotel is 100 metres from a metro that takes less than half an hour into the centre of Paris. I would typically go for breakfast late and always found something to eat. Cleaning staff kept my room pristine throughout my stay, bed made every day when I got back from work. Price was very good too.
