Ac didn’t work, it was hot inside even with open windows. Parking is really limited. Restaurant is great and had very budget prices

Das Haus hatte vor einigen Jahren mit Qualitätsproblemen zu kämpfen. Seit der Übernahme durch neue Eigentümer konnte das Haus - meiner Meinung nach - wieder an frühere Qualtitätsstandards aufschließen. Das Haus ist wunderschön am Fluß gelegen, Sportliche können das historische Stadtzentrum in ca. 15 Minuten fußläufig erreichen. Highlight des Hauses ist ein großzügiger Wellness-Bereich mit Indoor-Pool, Whirl-Pool, Finnischer Sauna und Dampfbad. Die Zimmer sind zeitlos elegant und geräumig. Im Erdgeschoß befindet sich eine Bar mit angenehmer Atmosphäre sowie ein Restaurant. Das Restaurant ist durchaus o.k., konnte aber nie zu den besten Restaurants der Stadt aufschließen und führt eher ein "Schattendasein". Resumé: ein angehmer Platz, der sich sowohl für Geschäfts- als auch Privatreisende eignet. Ideal auch für enen Wochenendaufenthalt.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Wir sind glaube ich schon 6 mal dort gewesen und jedes Mal hat es uns sehr gefallen. Das Essen war sehr gut! Zimmer sauber und die Lage genial! Personal wie immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Während einer Motorradreise sind wir für eine Freitagnacht in Oradea gewesen. Die Stadt überraschte und wusste zu begeistern. Auch das DoubleTree war gut. Selbst wenn für Schwimmbad oder Fitnesstudio keine Zeit war. Die Motorräder standen sicher in der Tiefgarage.

Air conditioning does not work in any of the rooms because the hotel management will not turn on the chillers. I have been staying at the Doubletree several times per year on business and each occasion have a room where the air-conditioning is not working (just blowing warm air). On each occasion until this visit, i have been given a different room on request which has been slightly cooler and informed that many of the chillers need replacing, On this stay of two nights was told that the chillers are not turned on and the reception staff have no idea when the air-con will be activated. This is the final stay and I do not recommend this hotel.

Good hotel. Friendly staff. Clean. Bartenders are great and front desk staff are super friendly. The spa massage therapists are also amazing. The bad: water pressure is not great and depending on where your room is, internet may not work. Close enough to shops/food.

I recently stayed in this hotel for the 4th time over the past 10 years and I have to admit that it’s one of my favorite hotels. Of course a high Hilton Honors status helps a lot as you get free breakfast (like in any Hilton hotel), access to the pool, free parking and a few free drinks at the bar. The pool is fantastic, the gym is well equipped, it’s a short walking distance to reach the city center, the park right across the street is ideal for kids to play basketball or football. The rooms are spotless clean, modern and well equipped. Breakfast quality has slightly decreased over the years but it’s still very good. Staff is nice, flexible and friendly. Always looking forward to the next opportunity to visit.

The bathrooms were well-equipped with a hair dryer, body wash, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. It took us a moment to figure out the shower handles, but we managed eventually. The sheets were clean, and there were plenty of towels and a robe included. One room had a river view, while the other had a balcony overlooking the park, which was lovely. The hallways by the elevators and lobby featured beautiful pictures and artwork. The elevator itself was nice, with full glass offering great views of the river and city. Delicious breakfast. Issues with the room: It was pricey and did not include free access to amenities like the swimming pool, breakfast, or parking, which are typically included in the price at most hotels. We had to pay for everything: $18 per day for breakfast, $12 per day for parking, $18 per entry to the swimming pool area, and $3.50 for a small bottle of water from the mini-fridge. The AC in both rooms didn't work properly. There was no pamphlet in the room to assist guests with how to use the amenities, such as inserting and keeping the hotel key in the slot by the door to turn on the AC and lights, which is not standard in many hotels. Additionally, there was no welcome pamphlet providing information on things to do in the City of Oradea. The restaurant food was not great and was quite expensive for what was offered. The salmon was standard and didn't taste fresh, while the rice was floating in water and tasted plain—the worst rice I've ever had, despite it being easy to prepare. Although we dined at the hotel's restaurant, we were still charged for parking. The concierge never mentioned that parking would be free if we ate there.
