This is our go to hotel in OC, clean and directly on the beach. The hotel is safe and there is plenty of parking. Pool bar and food was good with a nice staff. There is also a Starbucks coffee shop in the lobby which was handy. Hotel is on the expensive side but it delivers a good experience.

My family and I always stay here. I was even there in April. I came this time solo because I was in the hospital for a couple of days and needed a break. I walked in and was greeted by a nice young lady. As she was checking me in I noticed a man(Chad Brewer) hovering over her shoulders. He kept calling her ”girl,” He then proceeded to take over the check-in process. He talked to me as if he was trying to accuse me of doing something. I have stayed here multiple times and never have I ever felt the way he made me feel. I felt like I was being racially profiled. I might have looked tired and had marks all over my arms(from the IV in the hospital) but I have always loved coming here except for this time. I asked for an upgrade to the bayside. (I was given a street view). Very Loud! Everyone else that worked there was friendly. The rooms were clean and breakfast was good.

Schöne Lage mitten in der Stadt. Das hauseigene Restaurant war super praktisch. Wir waren im Winter hier und haben das Hallenbad und das Spielzimmer genutzt. Alle Angestellten, denen wir begegneten, waren super nett und gaben den Kindern heiße Schokolade, die ich süß fand. Älteres Hotel, das auf den Fluren zu sehen ist, aber das Interieur des Zimmers hat einige Updates und scheint insgesamt super sauber zu sein. Die Küche hatte alles was man braucht! Für den Preis war es perfekt! Werde auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

Great stay! Team was very helpful and friendly! Will definitely be staying again! Valarie the manager was so helpful & kind. Liss in breakfast was very sweet and made my stay every morning. My room was perfect. The location was perfect for us. The kitchen is my favorite part of the rooms. Will be back soon!

When you book a hotel room in Ocean City between Memorial Day and Labor Day, you can count on two things: Astronomical rates and a guest experience below what you’d expect elsewhere for those prices. The Doubletree has both. But if you accept the reality that this is the new normal for all OC hotels during the busy season, you could certainly do worse than the Doubletree. The good: The rooms and common areas are clean and generally well-maintained. This isn’t an easy accomplishment with the combination of sand, salt air, and a seasonal housekeeping staff. The beachfront location is hard to beat. There are also nice pools with plenty of chairs as well as a spacious picnic area. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unlike a lot of the newer hotels, the walls are not paper-thin and there are no connecting rooms. It’s not loud. Needs Improvement: The room’s thermostats are locked at 68 degrees and the AC units are very loud, turning off and on throughout the night. With the high humidity of ocean air, the system is not up to the job. (For us, this was the one dealbreaker that would keep us from returning. Your tolerance for it may be higher). Housekeeping is hit or miss: One of our days they came, one day they just forgot. Service at the restaurant is slow and inattentive. Some of the electrical outlets in our room did not work. The property looks dated, and several minor things need maintenance. Bottom Line: If you want to pay dearly for a beachfront hotel in peak season, the Doubletree is a decent choice. It’s family-friendly, clean, and the location is hard to beat. Don’t expect the experience you’d get at an urban Hilton for the same premium rates, and you won’t be disappointed.

This was a great hotel to stay at for a week while our daughter’s softball team played in a tournament. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool is outside right on the water. The fitness center is up on the 7th floor so you work out while looking out over the water. But mostly I want to compliment the staff. Everyone I talked to was nice and helpful. And then after I checked out and was on my way to the airport I realized that I had left several items in my room including my wedding ring. I messaged the hotel in the chat function on the app and explained the situation. They could not have been nicer. They went right away to the room and found the items and held them at the desk until a friend could pick them up. Thank you to the wonderful staff!

Als wir das Hotel ankamen, informierte uns der Büroberater, dass das Zimmer, das wir beantragt hatten, obwohl Trip.com nicht verfügbar war. Nach weiteren Ausführungen mit Stacy der stellvertretende Generalmanager wurde festgestellt, dass in der Reservierung der Reise.com tatsächlich falsch war und nicht das Zimmer, für das wir bezahlt haben, reserviert. Stacy ging oben und darüber, um den Fehler zu beheben und uns auf ein anderes Zimmer und mehr upgraded . Wir schätzen alles, was sie getan hat . Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit während unseres Aufenthalts .
