I stay here only out of necessity. The hotel is old and facilities need a major upgrade. On this stay I changed rooms twice. The 1st room bed was awful: soft and curved in the centre and the bathroom door was almost falling off its hinges. The 2nd room bed was just as bad. Would have been better to sleep on the floor. The 3rd rooms bed was acceptable. Mattress was better and bed didn't squeeze when moving.
Prices can be good or high depending on when you book.
Personally I would stay elsewhere. In fact. Recently I've been booking a hotel that's a 15min walk extra just to get s good night sleep...

I've stayed at this hotel nearly a dozen times and only because of the location for where i need to be. This hotel is very dated and old. The beds are often squeaky and make a noise when you move in bed. Mattresses are soft or bowed from overuse and need replacing. Cleanliness is questionable and mediocre at best. Staff are always relatively unfriendly and always seem bored and distracted. You can definitely do better!

Its an old hotel but OK for a few nights. In my room, 1901, either the toilet or thrle sink smelt bad. If the bathroom door was closed it was OK.
Good location for busses and metro.
Staff was helpful.
Lift was very slow.
Small shop downstairs to buy water and snacks at almost the same price outside the hotel. Very convenient
